A vehicle wheel overlay attachment system disclosed herein provides for wheel overlays, or wheel skins, that are readily installable over existing wheels by securing directly to a wheel center cap. The center cap is adapted to be inserted into the center hub portion of the wheel, much like a traditional center cap, but also contains a system for securing a wheel overlay to the center cap. When properly installed on the center cap, the wheel overlay will be snugly positioned over the wheel thereby changing the appearance of the vehicle wheel.

A protector shield for a sidewall of a motor vehicle tire, and to a wheel assembly for a motor vehicle incorporating this protector shield is provided. This protector annular shield is configured to be mounted on a wheel rim receiving said tire. The protector shield includes at least two concentric shield rings having a first shield ring and a second shield ring which are axially juxtaposed and which respectively include, substantially arranged end to end in a circumferential direction, a plurality of first arcuate sectors and a plurality of second arcuate sectors which angularly overlap each other, so that every two consecutive second sectors are substantially arranged end to end axially in front of a first sector short of both ends of this first sector.

A protector shield for a sidewall of a motor vehicle tire, and to a wheel assembly for a motor vehicle incorporating this protector shield is provided. This protector annular shield is configured to be mounted on a wheel rim receiving said tire. Provided are a decorative part, a wheel, and a fixation structure of such decorative part and wheel that are unaffected by variations in sizes at the time of manufacturing. The decorative part is to be attached to a vehicular wheel. This decorative part has the fixation portions to be fixed to the wheel; and the first plate-shaped ribs and the second plate-shaped ribs that are arranged at given intervals. The decorative part is to be fixed to the wheel with linear convex portions formed on the wheel being arranged in between and positioned to the first plate-shaped ribs and the second plate-shaped ribs.

Provided are a decorative part, a wheel, and a fixation structure of such decorative part and wheel that are unaffected by variations in sizes at the time of manufacturing. This decorative part has the fixation portions to be fixed to the wheel; and the first plate-shaped ribs and the second plate-shaped ribs that are arranged at given intervals. The decorative part is to be fixed to the wheel with linear convex portions formed on the wheel being arranged in between and positioned to the first plate-shaped ribs and the second plate-shaped ribs.

A novel vehicle wheel and method for manufacturing and attaching the novel vehicle wheel generally comprising a decorative member that is attached to a base wheel. In one non-limiting embodiment, a plurality of mounting apertures are provided on the base wheel that is secured to the vehicle axis/hub. The decorative member is provided with corresponding apertures that are aligned with the mounting holes of the base wheel. Bolt member, preferably hexagonal bolts are then inserted/threaded through the aligned apertures for securing the decorative member to the base wheel. A novel manufacturing method is also disclosed for manufacturing the base wheel and decorative attachment.

A novel vehicle wheel and method for manufacturing and attaching the novel vehicle wheel generally comprising a decorative member that is attached to a base wheel. In one non-limiting embodiment, a plurality of mounting apertures are provided on the base wheel that is secured to the vehicle axis/hub. The decorative member is provided with corresponding apertures that are aligned with the mounting holes of the base wheel. Bolt member, preferably hexagonal bolts are then inserted/threaded through the aligned apertures for securing the decorative member to the base wheel. A novel manufacturing method is also disclosed for manufacturing the base wheel and decorative attachment.

A wheel mounted display provides one or more presentations at one or more wheels of a vehicle. The presentations may provide advertising, informational, or other material, and are maintained in an upright position even while the vehicle is in motion. The wheel mounted display comprises a display showing one or more presentations may be rotatably attached to a wheel. A ballast is provided to aid in maintaining an upright position for the presentations. A mount allows attachment to a variety of wheels without requiring modification of the wheels.

The dynamic vehicle wheel balance apparatus comprises a vehicle wheel cover and a dynamic vehicle wheel balance ring. The vehicle wheel cover comprises a first surface, a second surface, and a perimeter surface connecting the first surface to the second surface. The vehicle wheel cover is configured to removably attach to a flange of a vehicle wheel with the second surface opposing the vehicle wheel. The dynamic vehicle wheel balance ring is attached to the second surface of the vehicle wheel cover. The dynamic vehicle wheel balance apparatus dynamically balances the vehicle wheel during rotation of the vehicle wheel and reduces aerodynamic drag.
