The disclosure relates to compositions comprising (a) at least one polyphenol; (b) at least one first gum chosen from carrageenans; (c) at least one second gum; (d) at least one humectant; (e) optionally, at least one buffer agent; and (f) at least one solvent. The compositions can be used for styling hair, for example temporarily straightening the hair and/or reducing frizz of the hair. The disclosure also relates to methods of using the compositions to style hair, straighten hair, and/or reduce frizz of hair.

Optionally, the compositions may further comprise at least one humectant and/or at least one fatty acid. A hair cosmetic containing (A) a specified quaternary ammonium salt, (B) a dimethylpolysiloxane having a weight average molecular weight of 300 or more and 3,000 or less, and water, the hair cosmetic being used by applying on the hair and then rinsing away, wherein the content of the component (B) is 0.5 mass % or more and 60 mass % or less, and a receding contact angle (θ.sub.R) of water droplet as measured by the expansion-contraction method with respect to the surface of a polyethylene plate which is applied with the hair cosmetic and then subjected to water washing is 82° or more and 110° or less. A treatment method of hair including (I) applying the hair cosmetic on the hair and spreading it over the entire hair, and (II) rinsing away the hair cosmetic with water from the entire hair.

Hydrolytically labile heterocycles of odoriferous ketones or odoriferous aldehydes
Heterocycles having odoriferous ketone or odoriferous aldehyde groups may be suitable in compositions comprising washing agents, cleaning agents, cosmetic agents, air care agents, insect repellents, or combinations thereof where the heterocycles release the ketones and aldehydes during hydrolysis. Heterocycles having odoriferous ketone or odoriferous aldehyde groups may be suitable in compositions comprising washing agents, cleaning agents, cosmetic agents, air care agents, insect repellents, or combinations thereof where the heterocycles release the ketones and aldehydes during hydrolysis. Process and composition for coloring keratin fibers
The present invention relates to a process for coloring keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising the steps of: (i) applying onto the keratin fibers a composition comprising (a) at least one compound chosen from alkylaminosulfonic acids and those of the formula (I) and (II), (b) at least one direct dye, and (c) at least one alkaline agent; (ii) heating the keratin fibers; and (iii) optionally rinsing and/or drying the keratin fibers. The present invention can provide superior coloring efficiency, such as color intensity and color lastingness.
Process and composition for coloring keratin fibers
The present invention relates to a process for coloring keratin fibers, preferably hair, comprising the steps of: (i) applying onto the keratin fibers a composition comprising (a) at least one compound chosen from alkylaminosulfonic acids and those of the formula (I) and (II), (b) at least one direct dye, and (c) at least one alkaline agent; (ii) heating the keratin fibers; and (iii) optionally rinsing and/or drying the keratin fibers. The present invention can provide superior coloring efficiency, such as color intensity and color lastingness.
METHOD FOR DYEING KERATINOUS MATERIAL, COMPRISING THE USE OF AN ORGANOSILICON COMPOUND, A COATED EFFECT PIGMENT AND A SEALING REAGENT I
The subject of the present disclosure is a process for dyeing keratinous material, in particular human hair, comprising the following steps: applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (a) comprises: (a1) at least one organic silicon compound selected from the group of silanes having one, two or three silicon atoms, and
(a2) at least one coloring compound comprising at least one effect pigment comprising α) a substrate platelet and β) a coating, wherein the coating comprises at least one layer that has been wet-chemically prepared using a metal alkoxide and an organosilicon compound having a basic group; and applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material, wherein the agent (b) comprises: (b1) at least one sealing reagent.
