Rim for a braked aircraft wheel
A rim for a braked aircraft wheel includes an outer circular portion whose ends are terminated flanges for receiving a tire. The outer circular portion is connected by a wheel disk to a hub for fitting on an undercarriage axle in order to rotate about an axis of rotation coinciding with a central axis of the rim. The rim is designed to receive the tire on the outside of the outer circular portion and a brake on the inside of the outer circular portion, the outer circular portion presenting on one side of the wheel disk that is to receive the brake, in a plane containing the central axis of the wheel, a profile that has two slopes forming non-zero angles with the central axis, the two slopes extending in the continuation of one another from the wheel disk to the corresponding flange and flaring towards said corresponding flange.
WHEEL AND RIM WITH WEIGHT REDUCTION INNER FLANGE
A wheel and a rim with a weight reduction inner flange are provided. The rim includes an inner flange, a middle portion and an outer flange which are all annular and connected end to end to form an annular rim, in which the inner flange or the outer flange includes multiple groups of edge weight reduction sockets arranged side by side on one side of the inner cavity of a hub, and multiple groups of inner weight reduction sockets arranged side by side are provided inside the edge weight reduction sockets on the rim; a group of edge weight reduction sockets includes a first edge weight reduction socket and a second edge weight reduction socket at the edge of the inner flange or the outer flange, and the first edge weight reduction socket is in the shape of a right-angled triangle having round angles.
WHEEL AND RIM WITH INNER FLANGE HAVING STRIP WEIGHT REDUCTION SOCKETS
A rim with an inner flange having strip weight reduction sockets and a wheel are provided. The rim includes the inner flange, a middle portion and an outer flange which are all annular and are connected end to end to form an annular rim, in which trapezoidal weight reduction sockets are provided on the inner wall of the inner flange; the bottom edges of the weight reduction sockets are flush with the edge of the inner flange; the top edge of each weight reduction socket has fillets; and the weight reduction sockets have a bottom edge length of 5-30 mm, a height of 15-60 mm, a top edge length of 5-15 mm, a base angle of 72-83, and a depth of 1-5 mm.
SPOKE WHEEL
A spoke wheel comprises a rim for supporting a tire having rim guards, a hub located radially inwardly with respect to the rim, and a plurality of spokes integrally connected with the rim and the hub at outer and inner ends, respectively, and extending radially with respect to the hub. The laterally outer surface of the outer end of each spoke and the laterally outer peripheral edge of the rim are located laterally inwardly with respect to the tip of the laterally outer rim guard. Outer ends of main spokes of the spokes are provided with convex portions projecting laterally outwardly and extending in the radial direction, and a lateral position of the laterally outer tip of each convex portion lies in the range between a lateral position of the laterally outer peripheral edge of the rim and a lateral position of the tip of the rim guard.
Vehicle wheel
Provided is a vehicle wheel. The vehicle wheel disclosed herein includes a disc member to which an axle is connected, and a rim portion connected to the disc member and on which a tire is mounted. The rim portion includes a first tire mounting portion connected to the disc member and including a first bead seat coming into contact with an outer bead of the tire, a second tire mounting portion located including a second bead seat coming into contact with an inner bead of the tire, and a well portion including an outer well portion extending from the first tire mounting portion, and an inner well portion configured to connect the outer well portion to the second tire mounting portion, and wherein a thickness is formed to be thinner in an order of the outer well portion, the second bead seat, and the inner well portion.
Wheel and its reinforced member
A rim section 18 is provided with e disk section 20 and is secured to a jig by patting the disk section 20 as the lower side. By allowing a groove section 40 (an engaging section) provided along a circumferential direction of the inner peripheral surface 21 of the rim section 18 to engage with a bent end section 48 of a reinforced member 14 attached from the upper side of the jig, the reinforced member 14 can be easily positioned on the inner peripheral surface 21 of the rim section 18.
RACING WHEEL
A wheel is provided that combines the principles of a beadlock wheel and a liner wheel for improved performance in motor racing, in particular drag racing. The wheel has beadlock rings that fasten to inner and outer rims of the wheel to secure an outer tire, and the wheel has knurls interior to the inner and outer rims to secure an inner tire. Projections from the inner and outer rims are arranged to accommodate the various functions of the combination of the beadlock rings and the inner tire. The projections counterintuitively add weight to the wheel, yet the combination of beadlock rings and an inner tire results in improved stability and safety as well as faster times on the racetrack.
REINFORCED VEHICLE WHEEL RIM AND FABRICATED VEHICLE WHEEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A vehicle wheel rim having at least an inboard tire bead seat retaining flange, an inboard tire bead seat, a well and an outboard tire bead seat. A reinforcing tape applied to at least a portion of one of an inner surface and/or an outer surface of the inboard tire bead seat retaining flange, the inboard tire bead seat, the well and the outboard tire bead seat.
RIM FOR A BRAKED AIRCRAFT WHEEL
The invention provides a rim for a braked aircraft wheel, the rim comprising an outer circular portion (103) terminated at its ends by flanges (106a, 106b) for receiving a tire, the outer circular portion being connected by a wheel disk (105) to a hub (104) for fitting on an undercarriage axle in order to rotate about an axis of rotation coinciding with a central axis (X) of the rim, the rim being designed to receive a tire on the outside of the outer circular portion and a brake on the inside, on one side of the wheel disk. According to the invention, the outer circular portion (103a) on the side of the wheel disk that is to receive a brake presents, in a plane containing the central axis of the wheel, a profile that has two slopes ?, ? relative to a direction parallel to the central axis on going from the wheel disk to the corresponding flange, and flaring towards the flange.
Bicycle wheel and relative manufacturing process
A bicycle disc or spider wheel including: a hub; a rim having a radially outer tire-coupling region, a first sidewall, a second sidewall; an axis of rotation; and a median plane. A pair of pretensioned disc or spider wheel-type structural elements are integral with the hub and with the rim. The first sidewall extends on a first side of the wheel, with respect to the median plane, on which a component of a motion transmission system or, when there is none, a disc of a disc brake is provided at the hub, and the second sidewall extends on the opposite side, with respect to the median plane. The first sidewall of the rim has a minimum distance from the median plane that is smaller than that of the second sidewall of the rim.
