A rim portion of a vehicle wheel has an outer flange portion. In a region of the outer flange portion, a space portion between spoke portions is disposed on a radial-direction inner side, a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface are provided. The first inclined surface is provided on an axial-direction outer side of an outer flange outer circumferential portion. The second inclined surface is on an axial-direction outer side of an outer flange inner circumferential portion. The first inclined surface is formed to incline from the axial-direction outer side toward an axial-direction inner side as the first inclined surface extends from a radial-direction outer side end toward the radial-direction inner side. The second inclined surface is a surface formed to incline from the axial-direction inner side toward the axial-direction outer side as the second inclined surface extends from the radial-direction outer side toward the radial-direction inner side.

A safety hub against tire burst includes a hub body. The hub body includes an outer annular surface, a first side surface and a second side surface. The first side surface and the second side surface are oppositely arranged on two sides of the outer annular surface. The two sides of the outer annular surface are oppositely provided with a first wheel flange and a second wheel flange. A tire mounting seat is formed between the first wheel flange and the second wheel flange, and an anti-detachment collar is provided on the tire mounting seat. The anti-detachment collar is an annular protruding ring arranged along the outer annular surface. The anti-detachment collar is concentric with the outer annular surface. A surface of the anti-detachment collar is provided with a toothed structure which includes multiple protruding teeth and gullets. The protruding teeth and the gullets are alternately arranged.

A method is provided for producing a bicycle wheel made of a fiber composite material, including laminating, in one piece and in one step, a rim, a plurality of spokes each including a first spoke section and a second spoke section, and a center having a first center disc and a second center disc, wherein all fibers for the rim, the spokes, and the center are laid in mold parts in the one step; curing the laminated rim, spokes, and center to form the bicycle wheel; and removing the formed bicycle wheel in said one piece from the mold, wherein the spokes are laminated and cured such that the first spoke section and the second spoke section have a substantially straight shape.

A vehicle wheel includes an annular rim defining an axis and inboard and outboard sides. The rim includes an outboard bead seat, an inboard bead seat, an outboard well flank connected to the outboard bead seat and extending radially inwardly and towards the inboard side of the rim, and an inboard well flank connected to the inboard bead seat and extending radially inwardly and towards the outboard side of the rim. The rim further includes a well portion defined between the outboard and inboard well flanks, wherein the well portion is formed by a plurality of curved and straight portions linked together. The well portion has at least three transition portions having varying thickness cross-sectional profiles. A wheel disc is secured to the rim. The wheel disc includes a hub located centrally within the wheel disc and has a plurality of bolt holes formed therein.
