Wheel apparatus for use with vehicles
Wheel apparatus for use with vehicles are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a wheel for a vehicle. The wheel has a groove disposed on an annular wall adjacent a drop well and extending away from the drop well. The example apparatus also includes a ring positioned in the groove.
Bicycle rim for tubeless tire
Bicycle rims that allow tires to be more easily mounted in a tubeless configuration are disclosed. More specifically, a bicycle rim may control the two beads of the tire with separate bead channels for each bead and a center bridge extending between the two bead channels.
WHEEL FOR VEHICLES AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SAID WHEEL
A wheel for vehicles in which the front flange is provided with an annular seat which accommodates at least partly the terminal end of the rim in order to form an external shoulder profile. The rim includes a substantially cylindrically extended central body part; an internal shoulder profile arranged at a first end of said body and is configured to receive an internal edge of a tire; and a terminal end arranged at a second and opposite end of said body. The disc includes a hub portion configured to be connected to a vehicle axle, a perimetric front flange and a connecting portion which connects the hub portion to the front flange. The front-flange is provided with an annular seat in which the terminal end of the rim is accommodated at least partially in order to form an external shoulder profile
Wheel
A wheel includes a rim having inner and outer flanges. A first end of each flange is positioned axially outwardly relative to the second end. A pair of bead seats are positioned one adjacent each flange, and each has an axially outer end connected to a second end of its flange by a flange connecting portion, and an axially inner end connected to one of a pair of side parts. Each side part is positioned between a central well and one of the inner and outer flanges, and connected to the well by a well connecting portion. The outer end of each bead seat is positioned radially outwardly relative to bead seat inner end. At least one of the flanges includes an extended portion which extends radially inwardly, such that a free end of the extended portion is positioned radially inwardly relative to the first end of the respective flange.
Rim strip for bicycle rim
A bicycle rim has rim a pair of rim flanges that defines a tire channel. A rim strip extends across the tire channel. The rim strip includes a pair of flange bumpers configured to cover the rim flanges. The flange bumpers each define a flange channel in which one of the rim flanges is received. A pair of safety humps define corresponding tire seating sections where a tire is seated when inflated. The rim strip further includes a drop seal that seals with the beads of the tire to facilitate seating of the tire during inflation.
Vehicle wheel with sub air chamber
The vehicle wheel (1) of the present invention is characterized by including: a main body (13) which forms a sub air chamber (SC) in a space surrounded by a top plate (25a), a bottom plate (25b) and a pair of side plates (25c, 25d); and edge portions (14a, 14b) which extend from the main body (13), and are respectively fitted into a pair of grooves (17a, 17b) formed in a well portion (11c) so as to attach the main body (13) to the well portion (11c). The edge portions (14a, 14b) respectively extend from the joints (25e, 25f) between the top plate (25a) and the side plates (25c, 25d).
AUTOMOBILE WHEEL
The invention relates to the improved design of a wheel with improved construction that is easier to assemble, more capable, stronger and thicker. The improved design of wheel is provided with an improved cylindrical rim in terms of design and material, and an improved wheel disk including plurality of apertures in extended space over the bolt pattern for air to pass through to avoid effect of windy conditions and a hub portion configured to he attached to an axle huh of a vehicle. Additionally, the hub portion of a wheel disk includes a 10 on 225 mm bolt pattern with 10 lug holes to get coupled with the vehicle hub using 225 mm threaded bolts that increases the weight capacity of the vehicle over 5, 6 or 8 lug vehicles. Said wheel is made of most preferably, but not limited to, the material such as aluminum by forging into single piece or 2 piece wheel making it light in weight with excellent durability. It is further designed according to double beadlock and runflat insertion capable when required to improve safety for the cases such as of tire deflation.
COMPOSITE WHEEL WITH BEAD HUMP HAVING TIRE LOCK GEOMETRY
A composite wheel for use at normal tire pressures as well as at reduced tire pressures may include a spoke section with a mating surface, a barrel section in contact with the spoke section at said mating surface, and a bead hump with tire lock geometry on at least the spoke section. The barrel section may further include a bead hump with the tire lock geometry.
RIM FOR VEHICLE WHEEL
A wheel rim, in particular for a wheel of an agricultural vehicle is disclosed, in which an annular body comprises a central annular portion extending around an axis, two peripheral annular portions for coupling with the beads of a tyre and two intermediate annular portions that connect the two peripheral annular portions to the central annular portion, each intermediate annular portion comprises a tilted wall with an external frustoconical surface that forms an angle with a plane that is perpendicular to the aforesaid axis.
VEHICLE WHEEL HAVING BARBED BEAD SEAT
A vehicle wheel having a central axis. The wheel comprises a bead seat configured to engage a bead of a tire, the bead seat extending circumferentially about the central axis of the wheel. The bead seat comprises a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a base extending between the first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls extend radially outwardly from the base, and the base includes a radially outwardly-facing surface extending circumferentially about the central axis, and one or more barbs projecting from the radially outwardly-facing surface in a radially outwardly direction.
