WHEEL FOR A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A wheel assembly includes a first rim piece for engaging a rotatable axle; and a second rim piece for engaging the rotatable axle. The first rim piece has axially extending curved friction plates for engaging a first side of a spoke structure of a tire. Axially outer ends of the friction plates engage axially extending lugs of the second rim piece to form a single split wheel assembly.
Wheel for energy recovery, in particular in vehicles with electric or hybrid propulsion
A wheel for vehicles, in particular with electric or hybrid propulsor, is provided that is apt to recover at least a part of the energy which is required in order to deform the tire of the wheel during its rotation and to transfer the energy, recovered in this manner, from the wheel to the vehicle on which the wheel is mounted, so that this energy, recovered, is used to generate the electrical energy intended to feed the devices installed on the vehicle, such as in particular the respective electric propulsor.
Two piece wheel
A two-piece wheel may have a first section and a second section. The wheel has areas of varying diameter across its width, and the first section and second section are joined at the area of the wheel with the smallest diameter. The first section can be a spoke section with spokes extending from a central hub and the second section can be a barrel section.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY WITH ALIGNMENT PINS
A wheel assembly may comprise an inboard wheel half and an outboard wheel half. The inboard wheel half may include a flange. The flange may define a first alignment pin opening. The outboard wheel half may define a second alignment pin opening. An alignment pin may be located in the first alignment pin opening and the second alignment pin opening.
Flexible wheel rim with floating hooks
Vehicle rim for mounting of a tire, comprising: an axially central part (20) comprising a disc; two lateral parts (31, 32), at least one of the lateral parts being separate from the axially central part, each of the lateral parts having a rim seat to receive a bead of a tire, the axially central part and the two lateral parts being made from a rigid matrix; an intermediate part (41, 42) that forms the only mechanical link between the axially central part and each lateral part that is separate from the axially central part, this intermediate part being made of a flexible matrix, the Young's modulus of uniaxial extension of the flexible matrix being greater than and equal to 50 MPa and less than or equal to 400 MPa; wherein the Young's modulus of uniaxial extension of the rigid matrix is greater than or equal to 5 GPa.

Thread-together wheel rim
A wheel rim for a vehicle including a first rim portion including a first wheel flange, a second rim portion threadedly connected to the first rim portion, and a second wheel flange held on the first rim portion.

WHEEL FOR A HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
In an aspect, there is provided a wheel for a human-powered vehicle, comprising a wheel hub (6) rotatably mountable on a central axle (5) defining a wheel rotation axis, a first cover (1) secured to the wheel hub, a circumferential rim (1c) structured to fully support a tyre (4) thereon, and a second cover (2) secured to one of the wheel hub and the first cover adjacent the wheel hub, and mating with the first cover distal from the wheel hub.
