WHEELS FOR NON-MOTORIZED VEHICLES
A wheel for a non-motorized vehicle (e.g., a shopping cart) can include a housing assembly and a tread assembly. The housing assembly can be configured to sealingly house electronics or other components. The tread assembly can removably mate with the housing assembly such that the electronics or other components remain closed and/or sealed within the housing assembly when the tread assembly is mated or unmated with the housing assembly.
RIM FOR A TIRE
A rim for a tire for means of displacement preferably for heavy loads at low-speed. The rim may include a main tubular body having a cylindrical surface extending between two lateral edges, a bead-seat having a greater diameter than the cylindrical surface of the tubular body and overlapped to it and at least a side-ring being overlapped to one of the lateral edges for the lateral containment of the tire. The rim may include compensating means interposed between the cylindrical surface of the tubular body and the bead-seat and in contact with them to realise a compensation in thickness.

Bead-locking wheel
An apparatus and methods are provided for a bead-locking wheel for mechanically coupling a tire to a wheel rim of an off-road vehicle. The bead-locking wheel includes a barrel for mounting the tire and a bead lock face for fastening the barrel and tire to a wheel hub of the vehicle. The bead lock face is fastened to a shoulder disposed around an outboard end of the barrel. The shoulder and an outboard flange of the barrel cooperate with a periphery of the bead lock face to mechanically retain an outboard bead of the tire. Mechanically retaining the outboard bead facilitates a relatively low inflation pressure within the tire to accommodate off-road conditions and high tractive forces. The bead lock face maximizes a positive offset and backspacing of the bead-locking wheel to accommodate a relatively wide hub and spindle assembly while maintaining an advantageous steering geometry and track width.
Thread-together wheel rim
A wheel rim for a vehicle including a first rim portion including a first wheel flange, a second rim portion threadedly connected to the first rim portion, and a second wheel flange held on the first rim portion.
REINFORCED BICYCLE RIM
A bicycle rim assembly includes a rim defining a central plane and comprising annular inner and outer walls. The outer wall includes first and second bead seats separated by a center well. First and second annular projections are spaced laterally from each other relative to the central plane and extend substantially radially outwardly from the outer wall. Each of the annular projections includes a radially outer face and a laterally inner face. Right and left covers are spaced from each other and are preferably coupled to the rim to cover at least a portion of the laterally inner face and the radially outer face of the first and second annular projections, respectively, and also the first and second bead seats, respectively. One or both of the right and left covers can be fiber reinforced. First and second pieces of tape can be overlapped and used to secure the covers to the rim.

Vehicle wheel including antirotation plate
A vehicle wheel includes a first annular component, a second annular component configured to be separable from the first annular component and mechanically connected to and aligned with the first annular component about an axis of rotation of the wheel, and a plate. In some examples, when the first and second annular components are mechanically connected, the first and second annular components are configured to receive a tire and define a recess along an annular surface of the first and second annular components, the recess being configured to receive the plate. In addition, in some examples, when the plate is received in the recess, the plate inhibits relative rotation between the first annular component and the second annular component about the axis of rotation of the wheel.

Wheel rim with optimized shape of rim flange
A rim (3) for a tire has an axis of rotation DD and a rim seat (31) extended axially towards the outside by a rim flange (32), said rim flange (32) having a first portion (321) that is oriented substantially in a perpendicular plane and is situated radially on the outside with respect to said rim seat (31), characterized in that said rim flange (32) has a second portion (322) that is inclined towards the outside, is situated axially on the outside with respect to said first portion (321) and is situated at least partially radially on the outside with respect to said rim seat (31), said rim having a connecting portion (320) between said first portion (321) and said second portion (322).
