Nut, in Particular Wheel or Axle Nut, Washer, Control Device for Wheel or Axle Nuts in Vehicles and Vehicle Provided Therewith
A nut, or a washer for a nut, in particular a wheel nut or axle nut for vehicles, having a body, having a central threaded hole, having a peripheral wall, having an abutment face at a lower side, wherein the nut also has a plurality of wrench faces on the peripheral wall of the nut body for tightening or releasing the nut by means of a tool which cooperates with the wrench faces. In order to be able to detect the loosening of wheel nuts or axle nuts of vehicles, and to indicate such loosening to a vehicle driver to avoid dangerous situations during driving, there is provided in the body at least one recess in which a sensor element is arranged, wherein the sensor element is connected to a wireless interface which is configured to transmit a sensor signal of the sensor element wirelessly to an external reception unit.
DEVICE FOR THE SHAFT-HUB COUPLING, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR
A device for the shaft-hub coupling, in particular for the automotive sector. The peculiarity of this device is that it comprises a box-like body (4) arranged to be inserted inside a shaft (2), to be coupled with a hub (3). The body (4) further has removable means (5, 5′, 5″), operable by means of a lock (6), for engagement with the hub (3).
APPARATUS FOR MEASURING SPEED OF VEHICLE HAVING IN-WHEEL MOTOR
An apparatus for measuring a speed of a vehicle having an in-wheel motor including a lock nut part fixed to an outer portion of a rotation shaft rotated by receiving power of the in-wheel motor, and restricting movement of a bearing part positioned outside the rotation shaft; a connection part coupled to the lock nut part; a magnet part having a magnetic force, and fixed to the connection part; and a speed sensor part installed to be separated from the magnet part, and measuring rotations of the magnet part.
Lightweight suspension upright or knuckle
A lightweight suspension upright or knuckle including: a bearing connection interface having a first sleeve element and a second, radially outer, sleeve element and further including a BMC/LFT/DLFT annular body; at least one attachment interface configured to connect the suspension upright or knuckle to a respective control or support element; and a supporting structural body mechanically connecting the bearing connection interface with the at least one attachment interface. The supporting structural body is shaped as a reticular frame including first blade elements chemically and mechanically interconnected to each other and to the outer lateral surface; each blade element consisting in one or more mats or plies of continuous fibers embedded in a polymer matrix, stacked onto one another and that have been compression molded together and with the annular body. Also, a method for obtaining a lightweight suspension upright or knuckle for a vehicle providing a bearing connection interface.
HUB LOCK NUT ASSEMBLY
A hub lock nut assembly for retaining a vehicle wheel hub in position. The hub lock nut assembly comprises a hub lock nut and a mating component. The hub lock nut comprises a circumferential inner wall defining a central hole, the inner wall having a threaded portion separated into a first section and a second section by an annular groove, thereby configuring the second section as a resilient portion arranged to flex with respect to the first section in an axial direction. The mating component comprises an inner wall defining a central hole extending in the axial direction, an annular end surface, and a protrusion on the annular end surface. The protrusion is configured to exert a force on the second section of the hub lock nut threaded portion, in the axial direction, when in the mated position, thereby retaining the vehicle wheel hub in position.
HUB LOCK NUT ASSEMBLY
A hub lock nut assembly for retaining a vehicle wheel hub in position. The hub lock nut assembly comprising a hub lock nut and a mating component with which the hub lock nut is arranged to be mated in a mated position. The hub lock nut comprises a circumferential inner wall defining a central hole, the inner wall having a threaded portion. One of the hub lock nut or the mating component comprises at least one resilient portion adapted to be movable in a radial direction outwardly of the central hole when subjected to an external force provided by the other of the mating component or the hub lock nut. The at least one resilient portion having an engagement area for receiving said external force, wherein the engagement area is located radially outwardly of the threaded portion.
FRONT PORTAL SPINDLE ASSEMBLY
An apparatus and methods are provided for a portal spindle assembly for a vehicle front suspension. The portal spindle assembly comprises a spindle portion that is rotatably coupled with upper and lower connecting arms. A leading-edge portion is rotatably coupled with a steering rod-end joint, such that moving the steering rod-end joint rotates the spindle assembly with respect to the upper and lower connecting arms. An inboard case and an outboard case support a pinion gear assembly that is meshed with an output gear assembly for communicating torque from a constant velocity joint to a front wheel coupled to the output gear assembly. The pinion gear assembly is aligned along a pinion axis disposed at an angle with respect to a hub axis of the output gear assembly. The angle facilitates a suspension geometry that provides a camber change of the front wheel that eliminates a change in track width.

Split wheel and hub assembly
A wheel and hub assembly. Such a wheel includes split adapters, split hubs and split wheels. The assembly is attached to any beach chair or other article of manufacture which has a rod or pipe in its structure. Also, the wheel can be adapted on variously sized pipes and enable a user to easily pull/roll a beach chair or other articles of manufacture on various surfaces including a sandy beach or lawn.
Automotive Spoke Wheel Spinner Locking System
An automotive spoke wheel spinner locking system includes an adapter, a knock-off cap, and a plurality of male fasteners. The adapter includes a mounting plate, a wheel hub, and a central opening. The wheel hub is concentrically positioned and adjacently mounted to the mounting plate. The central opening traverses through the mounting plate and the wheel hub. The knock-off cap includes a central plate, a lateral wall, and a spinner aperture. The lateral wall is radially connected around the central plate as the spinner aperture concentrically traverses through the central plate. The knock-off cap is concentrically positioned to the adapter, wherein the lateral wall is threadedly attached around the wheel hub, and the center plate is mounted to the wheel hub by the plurality of male fasteners.
