Tire arrangement implement and tire arrangement method

The tire arrangement implement is employed to arrange a plurality of tires, each provided with a decorative portion located on a sidewall portion, in a row in the tire rotational axis direction. The tire arrangement implement comprises a spacer. The spacer is disposed between adjacent tires or between the tire and the floor, not in contact with the decorative portion, and separates the decorative portion of one tire from another tire or the peripherally located member.

ROTARY FLOW FORMING APPARATUS
20190111466 · 2019-04-18 ·

A rotary flow forming apparatus for producing light alloy rims contains a main spindle with a clamping apparatus for a rim blank. An outer pressure roller is provided and is deliverable radially from the outside in and is movable parallel to the spindle axis, for producing an outer contour of the light alloy rim. The apparatus does not require massive internal dies and thereby significantly reduces the production costs and significantly improves the efficiency of rim production, which is achieved by the fact that the rotary flow forming apparatus has an inner pressure roller for generating an inner contour of the light alloy rim, which is arranged in the region of the inner side of the rim blank opposite the outer pressure roller and is mounted so as to be movable parallel to the spindle axis, rotatable, and deliverable radially from the inside outward to the rim blank.

Gripper, gripper station and method for gripping an annular tire component

A gripper, a gripper station and a method for gripping an annular tire component, wherein the gripper has a plurality of gripper members distributed in a circumferential direction about a gripper axis and movable with at least a vector component in a radial direction perpendicular to the gripper axis over a main range with a radially inner endpoint and a radially outer endpoint. The gripper further has a limiter for limiting the movement of the plurality of gripper members in the radial direction to a subrange within the main range, wherein the subrange has an adjustable subrange position relative to the main range. The gripper has a synchronization member for synchronizing movements of the plurality of gripper members in the radial direction, wherein the synchronization member defines the main range, and wherein the limiter is arranged for limiting the synchronization member to define the subrange.

Rim replacing method for tire testing machine

In a rim replacing method for a tire testing machine of the present invention, one pair of the rims satisfying predetermined conditions relative to a test tire are selected, from among a pair of rims attached to the upper and lower spindles and plural pairs of rims loaded in a rim replacing device, as object rims, and rim replacement is performed if the rims loaded in the rim replacing device are selected as the object rims, so that the nonuniformity of rim can be suitably measured. The predetermined conditions include a condition in which a diameter of bead portions of the tire conveyed into the tire testing machine corresponds to a diameter of the object rims, and a condition in which a width of the bead portions of the tire conveyed into the tire testing machine falls within a range in which a space between the object rims is adjustable.

Apparatus and method for locking a wheel in a balancing machine
12152955 · 2024-11-26 · ·

An apparatus for locking a wheel in a balancing machine comprises: a first casing (2), extending along a working axis (D1), a second casing (3), disposed inside the first casing (2) and movable along the working axis (D1) relative to the first casing (2) to adopt an open position (PA) and a closed position (PC) which are spaced from each other along the working axis (D1), a first lever (4), hinged to the first end (3A) of the second casing (3) at a hinge (31) to rotate between an extracted position (PE1) and a retracted position (PR1); a second lever (5), hinged at the hinge (31) of the second casing (3) to rotate between a respective extracted position (PE2) and a respective retracted position (PR2). The first lever (4) and the second lever (5) include a respective first apex (41) and a second apex (51). When the second casing (3) is at the open position (PA), the first apex (41) and the second apex (51) are disposed at a corresponding first apex position. When the second casing (3) is at the closed position (PA), the first apex (41) and the second apex (51) are disposed at a corresponding second apex position. For both the first apex (41) and the second apex (51), the first apex position is further back than the second apex position in a locking direction (VB) along the working axis (D1).
