OMNI-DIRECTION WHEEL SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING THE OMNI-DIRECTION WHEEL SYSTEM
The present disclosure generally relates to an omni-direction wheel system and methods for controlling the omni-direction wheel system. The omni-direction wheel system includes a plurality of suspension systems that operate independently of one another. Each suspension system may include an electromagnetic steering hub configured to rotate a wheel 360 degrees about a vertical axis based on a polarity of an electromagnetic signal applied to the electromagnetic steering hub. The suspension system may further include an in-wheel motor configured to rotate with the wheel and drive the wheel about a horizontal axis.
CASTER ANTI-TILT DEVICE
An anti-tilt device for a caster that includes a wheel, rotatably mounted in a frame, for rotation about a rotation axis. The anti-tilt device, comprising first and second face plates; first and second flanges extending from opposing edges of said first plate, each of the first and second flanges wrapping beside the first face plate; first and second flanges extending from opposing edges of said second face plate, each of the first and second flange extending beside the first face plate, to prevent rotation of the first and second face plates when mounted to the caster frame; first and second legs extending from the first second face plates, respectively; and a bar, extending between the first and second legs across a tread face of said caster wheel when mounted to said frame, at a defined angle of the tread face, as measured from a vertical axis extending through said rotation axis, when said caster is level. Each of said first and second legs includes a defined bend to place said bar at said defined angle.
Cart caster capable of converting into fixed or swivel type according to travel direction
The present invention relates to a cart caster that is installed on each of the edges of a bottom surface of a manned and unmanned cart to carry a product through a rolling motion, and more particularly, to a cart caster that is automatically converted into a fixed or rotating caster according to a forward/backward traveling direction of a cart to ensure safe travel and thereby easily carry a product and improve work conditions. According to the present invention, since the cart caster is automatically converted into a fixed or rotating caster by an operation of a swiveling conversion unit including an auxiliary wheel that is closely contacted to a wheel according to the forward/backward movement of the cart so as to rotate in only one direction and a fixing pin inserted into a coupling hole of a fixing plate, safe travel may be ensured in order to easily carry a product and improve work conditions.
CASTER CAPABLE OF REMOVING FOREIGN SUBSTANCE
A caster capable of removing a foreign substance includes a flange mounted to a carrier or a plate on which cargo is loaded so as to be spaced apart from a lower surface of the carrier or the plate, the flange having a plurality of coupling holes formed therein, a rotator rotatably mounted to a lower surface of the flange, lower support members mounted respectively to opposite sides of the rotator, each lower support member having a rotating shaft coupling hole formed in a lower portion thereof, a wheel located between the lower support members and supported by a rotating shaft, which penetrates the rotating shaft coupling hole, and a foreign substance removal device fixed to and supported by the rotating shaft, the foreign substance removal device serving to remove and collect the foreign substance attached to a surface of the wheel that is being rotated.
Rear steering cylinder dampening
A hydraulic system for controlling at least one steerable caster wheel of an agricultural machine includes a first actuator having a piston and including an inboard fluid port for supplying fluid to a first side of the piston to move the piston in a first direction, and an outboard fluid port for supplying fluid to a second side of the piston to move the piston in a second direction. A first fluid pressure equalizer is fluidically coupled to the first side actuator and operable to equalize fluid pressure over a period of time between the first side and the second side of the piston of the first side actuator.
WHEELCHAIR CASTER ASSEMBLY
A caster assembly for a wheelchair comprises a stem having a frame clamp at a first end and a fork clamp at a second end, the frame clamp configured to form a frame joint with at least one rotational degree of freedom with a frame portion of the wheelchair, a tightening of the frame clamp securing the stem to the frame portion, the frame joint having a frame rotational axis. A fork unit has a fork portion and a caster rotatably supported by the fork portion, the fork unit having swivel mechanism, and a joint portion forming a rotational joint with the fork clamp of the stem, a tightening of the fork clamp blocking rotation of the rotational joint, the rotational joint having a fork rotational axis. A vector of the fork rotational axis is normal to a fork rotational plane in which the fork rotates relative to the stem, and further wherein the frame rotational axis is not parallel to the fork rotational plane.
Wheel assembly
A wheel assembly includes: a wheel set unit including a wheel bracket and a wheel; and a brake unit including a brake element disposed between the wheel bracket and the wheel, a threaded member sleeved movably on the brake element, and a screw extending threadably through the threaded member, extending through the brake element so as to prevent movement of the threaded member on the brake element, and pushable downwardly such that the brake unit moves downwardly to press resiliently against the wheel, so as to arrest rotation of the wheel. Only a single tool is needed to be accessed to a lower end of the screw so as to adjust a distance between the brake unit and the wheel.
Castor wheel
The present invention relates to a castor wheel structure, comprising a wheel part (18) and a castor wheel house (28), on which a transition element can be mounted, such as a spindle structure (1) or a flange structure (2), which again can be mounted on equipment that is to be made mobile, which wheel part (18) is unilaterally suspended and arranged about a substantially horizontal shaft on the castor wheel house (28).
Caster wheel support assembly for a wheelchair and wheelchair comprising the same
The caster wheel support assembly has a first section securable to a frame member of a wheelchair and a second section holding a swivel member coupled to a caster wheel. The caster wheel support assembly has a holding member designed as a collet configured to hold a first portion of the swivel member which extends along a first axis. A second portion of the swivel member, which is coupled to the caster wheel, extends away from the first portion along a second axis which forms an angle relative to the first axis. The first portion of the swivel member is supported by the holding member to selectively allow rotation thereof relative to the holding member about the first axis, causing adjustment of a camber of the caster wheel. The collet is configured to selectively prevent or permit rotation of the swivel member relative to the holding member.
ANTIMICROBIAL SHOE SOLES AND SHOE COVERINGS
Wheels, tires, wheel coverings, foot coverings and method for forming a wheel and/or foot covering that is defined by a body that is shaped to extend along the floor contacting surface under the wheel and/or sole of a foot of a wearer and includes an antimicrobial agent that is incorporated into the body and inseparable therefrom. The antimicrobial agent is selected and supported by the body of the wheel, wheel assembly, wheel covering, and/or foot covering to render microbial matter contacted by the body nonviable.
