A caterer buffet table conversion kit comprises detachable one piece spring handles for transport and exchange of chafing dishes, and low profile table casters. The components of the kit have utility individually. The handles are each formed from a one piece spring steel and include a semi-cylindrical grip, an upper and a lower leaf with the lower having a spring forming member facilitating the engagement of the chafing pan between the leafs. Each caster includes a caster assembly including a caster wheel or caster ball and a tubular table coupling bracket coupled thereto and configured to receive a conventional table leg therein. The bracket is offset from a caster wheel or caster ball and configured to receive the table leg wherein a terminal end of the table leg is positioned vertically below the center of the caster wheel or caster ball to minimize the height of the table top.

Caster assembly and apparatus incorporating same

A caster assembly for use with varies structures, including ladders and elevated platforms is provided. In one embodiment, the caster assembly includes a first wheel coupled with a first bracket and configured to rotate about a first axis relative to the first bracket. A shaft is coupled to the first bracket as well as to a second bracket. The first bracket is rotatable relative to the second bracket about a second axis, which may be coincident with, or parallel to, an axis of the shaft. A third bracket is coupled with the shaft and is rotatable about the second axis, the third bracket being selectively locked in at least two positions relative to the second bracket. A second wheel is coupled with the third bracket, the second wheel being rotatable relative to the third bracket about a third axis.

Replaceable tire for use in a wheel assembly for carts

The disclosure addresses a series of interactions between wheels and a number of different replaceable tire segments to cover the wheels. The disclosure teaches more than one way to engage the one or more tire segments to wheels and to form seams between ends of the one or more tire segments. The tire segments may be removed and replaced so that the wheels and wheel bearing may be used longer than the useful life of the tire segments.

Work aid for a hairdresser, comprising a mobile frame on which frame a seat surface or at least one storage surface is arranged, wherein the frame comprises at least one castor being arranged rotatably in a fork head, and the castor being arranged on an axle, which axle is arranged insertably in each case with a first end portion on a first fork-shaped receptacle on the fork head and with a second end portion on a second fork-shaped receptacle on the fork head.

Driven caster wheel and assembly

A driven caster wheel assembly may include a wheel, an axle, a drive assembly, a drive shaft, and a bevel gear. The wheel may be mounted to the axle for rotation about a drive axis and steering about a substantially vertical steering axis. The drive shaft may extend along the steering axis from a first end to a second end, with the first end being connected to the axle and the second end being connected to the drive assembly such that the drive assembly controls rotation of the drive shaft about the steering axis. The bevel gear may connect the first end to the axle such that rotation of the drive shaft about the steering axis controls rotation of the wheel about the drive axis to drive the driven caster wheel assembly in a substantially horizontal direction. Various other assemblies and methods are also disclosed.

Rail-Based Floor Conveyor System

A telescoping wheel assembly includes a base body, a wheel set and an elastic member. The base body includes a receiving groove. The wheel set is connected to the receiving groove and selectively positioned at an outward position or an inward position relative to the receiving groove. The wheel set includes a wheel axle and a wheel body. The wheel body is connected to an outside of the wheel axle. The elastic member is disposed in the receiving groove and abutted against the base body and the wheel set. When the wheel set is positioned at the outward position, the elastic member provides a buffering elastic force to the wheel set. When the wheel set is positioned at the inward position, the elastic member provides a pushing elastic force to the wheel set.
