Carrier device capable of varying contact damping with pressured displacement
10106005 · 2018-10-23 ·

The present invention provides one or more carrier devices capable of varying contact damping with pressured displacement. The device is configured to be installed on mechanical force-receiving structures that have rolling wheels, rolling balls or slidably displaceable terminal block structure, carrying devices and transportation devices for humans or objects. When receiving pressure smaller than a set value, the device provides low contact damping and is thus easy to move. On the other hand, when receiving pressure greater than the set value, it provides high contact damping so as to prevent slip and thereby ensure safe placement. In addition, when receiving pressure smaller than the set value, the device has its pre-stressed structure generate modulation to displacement corresponding to the size of the pressure it receives for the purpose of shock absorbency.

Pressured braking wheel

A pressured braking wheel includes a wheel seat, an axle sleeve, a first wheel rim and a second wheel rim. The wheel seat has an accommodation space and a braking tenon. The axle sleeve is arranged in the accommodation space and sleeves a wheel axle. Inner sides of the first wheel rim and the second wheel rim are respectively annularly provided with first tenon grooves and second tenon grooves. The first wheel rim and the second wheel rim pivotally connect with the axle sleeve through the wheel axle. The first tenon groove and the second tenon groove are arranged under the braking tenon. When the wheel seat is pressed down, the wheel seat inserts the braking tenon into the first tenon groove and the second tenon groove, so as to prevent the first wheel rim and the second wheel rim from rotating with respect to the wheel seat.

SURGICAL ROBOTIC CART WITH SELECTIVE WHEEL ALIGNMENT

Particular embodiments disclosed herein provide a retractable guard assembly coupled to a caster of a mobile equipment, comprising a housing and one or more guards at least partially disposed in the housing. The one or more guards are independently movably coupled to the housing. The retractable guard assembly further comprises corresponding one or more biasing elements coupled to the one or more guards and to the housing for biasing the one or more guards towards a fully deployed state. When the one or more guards are in the fully deployed state, contact between a fixed object and a portion of the one or more guards disposed outside the housing causes the one or more guards to transition into a retracted state, and when the contact is removed, the corresponding one or more biasing elements cause the one or more guards to transition into the fully deployed state.
