CASTER WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A caster wheel assembly includes a wheel mounted for rotation about a horizontal axis within a wheel carriage such that the wheel rotates about the horizontal axis with respect to the wheel carriage. The wheel carriage is positioned within a retention ring such that the wheel carriage can rotate about the vertical axis with respect to the retention ring. The wheel carriage also has an opening on the bottom surface such that the wheel can make contact with the ground. The horizontal axis about which the wheel rotates is offset from the vertical axis about which the wheel carriage rotates. An outer carriage may be included such that the outer carriage is positioned within the retention ring and the wheel carriage is positioned within the outer carriage. The outer carriage would be able to rotate about the vertical axis with respect to both the retention ring and the wheel carriage.
WHEEL GUARD
A wheel guard or skirt is disclosed for use with a wheel of a machine or appliance. The wheel guard is designed to push an obstruction such as a wire, cable or other debris away from the wheel as the machine is moved along a floor. The wheel guard includes a first base member, having first and second ends, a second base member, having first and second ends, an upstanding first end member positioned between the first ends of the first and second base members and an upstanding second end member positioned between the second ends of the first and second base members. The wheel guard is designed to push obstructions away from the wheel to prevent the wheel from running over the obstruction. The wheel guard may be of one-piece construction.

WHEEL ASSEMBLY WITH ROLLING AND SWIVELING CAPABILITY
A wheel assembly having rolling and swiveling capability includes a wheel bracket configured for mounting one or more wheels, a swivel bracket configured for positioning with respect to an object with respect to which the wheel assembly is used, the swivel bracket including a main body and a spindle extending from one side of the main body of the swivel bracket into a receptacle in the wheel bracket, the spindle and receptacle being tapered at different angles to minimize surface to surface engagement during swiveling, a thrust bearing between the swivel bracket and wheel bracket to transfer force between the brackets while assisting to align the brackets, a retention mechanism at the distal end portion of the spindle configured to retain the spindle in the wheel bracket and aligning the spindle with respect to the wheel bracket while permitting the wheel bracket to swivel about the spindle relative to the swivel bracket.
Wheel unit and wheel-type mobile body
A wheel unit 1 is composed of a stopper portion 70 installed in a main body portion 20 and a stopped portion 14 installed in a wheel and tire assembly portion 10. The stopper portion 70 is an electromagnet. When a voltage is applied to the stopper portion 70 at the time of turning a power source on with an electrode terminal portion 50 nested in a main shaft portion 40 as a contact, the electromagnet generates a magnetic field and is magnetically attached to the stopped portion 14 formed of a metal piece, whereby the rotation of the wheel and tire assembly portion 10 can be restricted.
Actuating mechanism for a caster
An actuating mechanism for a caster that brakes and positions the caster by means of a cam mechanism that enables braking of the caster using minimum forces developed on the brake lever or brake rod. The mechanism helps to handle casters of patient support apparatuses in hospital and nursery facilities easily, using minimum force developed by caregivers or by an electronic caster brake systems if used for braking of casters of patient support apparatuses, as well. The mechanism may produce an outstanding decrease of noise level of castors on patient support apparatuses.
WHEEL ASSEMBLY FOR A LUGGAGE BAG
The present invention provides a wheel assembly for a luggage bag. The wheel assembly comprises a mounting plate, a fork, at least one wheel and at least one magnet. The mounting plate is adapted to be configured on a peripheral portion of the luggage bag. The fork extends from the mounting plate and at least one wheel is connected to the fork. The magnet is adapted to be arranged on an inner portion of the luggage bag opposite to the corresponding mounting plate. When the luggage bag is brought into proximity with the mounting plate, the magnet inside the luggage bag is attracted to the mounting plate and securely connects with the mounting plate, thereby fastening the wheel assembly to the luggage bag.
CASTER ASSEMBLY AND PARKING ROBOT INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed are a caster assembly and a parking robot including the same. The present embodiment relates to a caster assembly and a parking robot including the same, the caster assembly including a bearing configured such that an inner race rotates relative to an outer race, a bearing casing to which the bearing is fixedly coupled so that at least a part of the outer race is supported on an inner circumferential surface of the bearing casing, a bearing upper cover provided to surround at least a part of the inner race, except for a bottom surface of the inner race, and rotatably coupled to the inner circumferential surface of the bearing casing, a bearing lower cover provided to support at least a part of the bottom surface of the inner race and fastened to a lower side of the bearing upper cover, and a wheel protruding downward from a top surface of the bearing upper cover and rotatably coupled to the bearing upper cover or the bearing lower cover.
LUGGAGE CASTER FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT AND VERTICAL SHAFT THEREOF
A luggage caster for maintenance and replacement includes a wheel frame, a vertical shaft, and trolley wheels in a clearance fit with the wheel frame. The vertical shaft is configured to rotate axially within a vertical shaft hole of the wheel frame. a bottom end of the vertical shaft defines a riveting hole for forming a riveting flange. A top end of the vertical shaft is provided with a limiting plate that cooperates with the riveting flange to achieve an axial limitation of the vertical shaft in the vertical shaft hole. The top end of the vertical shaft is further provided with an installation head that protrudes from the limiting plate. The installation head is configured to insert into a shaft hole of a luggage bottom support. The riveting hole of the vertical shaft extends axially along the vertical shaft to define an anti-rotation tool hole.
Two-wheel caster
A two-wheel caster includes a rotation shaft component, an arm member provided with a hollow, an axle attached to the arm member, a left wheel and a right wheel attached to the axle. The arm member includes an axle supporting member which is stored in the hollow so as to be movable up and down, and which supports the axle, a compression coil spring which is stored in the hollow, and which pushes the axle supporting member, and a main rib surrounding the hollow. The axle supporting member includes an axle receiving portion which is formed in a tadpole-like shape, corresponds to a head of such a shape, and is provided with a shaft hole through which the axle is inserted, and a cantilever spring portion which corresponds to a tail of the tadpole-like shape, and which is continuous to the main rib.
