Caster with a circularly positioning structure
For a caster with a circularly positioning structure, stepping on the pedal can drive the driving rod and the driving piece to rotate, so that the positioning pin of the driving piece cyclically proceeds the first positioning point, the second positioning point and the path point of the positioning member, thereby driving the cam unit to push against the shaft to let the positioning piece and the orienting hole to be engaged or disengaged from each other, and let the locking end of the locking member to be engaged in or disengaged from the locking groove. In this way, the caster can selectively be locked to stop rotation, and be released to freely rotate.
CASTER WITH HORIZONTAL BRAKING
A caster with horizontal braking includes a connecting base, a wheel rotatably connected to the connecting base, and a brake assembly including a movable plate slidably connected to the connecting base and a rotary plate. The movable plate is provided with a brake pad at an end and a first abutting plate with a limiting portion thereon, and is rotatably connected to the connecting base. A second abutting plate fitted with the first abutting plate is arranged on the rotary plate. When the rotary plate is rotated to cause the second abutting plate to push the first abutting plate to move backward, the brake pad moves backward to abut against the wheel, one end of the second abutting plate is abutted against the limiting portion, the force applied by the wheel to the brake pad opposites the force applied by the second abutting plate to the limiting portion.
TRANSPORT SYSTEM
A transport system for transporting an object is provided including a transport rail and a transport trolley. The transport trolley includes a base body that is coupled or can be coupled to an object carrier for receiving an object to be transported. It also includes one caster unit including a first caster rotatably supported about a first axis of rotation, a second caster rotatably supported about a second axis of rotation and a third caster rotatably supported about a third axis of rotation. In addition there is a swivel caster unit having a swivel caster and a pivot section. The pivot section is rotatably supported at a base body about a pivot axis, and the swivel caster is rotatably supported at the pivot section about a swivel caster axis and cooperates with a running surface of the transport rail, the swivel caster axis and the pivot axis do not cross.
Luggage caster for maintenance and replacement and vertical shaft thereof
A luggage caster for maintenance and replacement includes a wheel frame, a vertical shaft, and trolley wheels in a clearance fit with the wheel frame. The vertical shaft is configured to rotate axially within a vertical shaft hole of the wheel frame. a bottom end of the vertical shaft defines a riveting hole for forming a riveting flange. A top end of the vertical shaft is provided with a limiting plate that cooperates with the riveting flange to achieve an axial limitation of the vertical shaft in the vertical shaft hole. The top end of the vertical shaft is further provided with an installation head that protrudes from the limiting plate. The installation head is configured to insert into a shaft hole of a luggage bottom support. The riveting hole of the vertical shaft extends axially along the vertical shaft to define an anti-rotation tool hole.
Wheel assembly
A removable wheel assembly includes a mounting base, a caster assembly and a detachment mechanism. The mounting base is provided with an insertion hole and a transverse guide groove communicated with the insertion hole. The caster assembly includes an insertion shaft, a wheel bracket, a rotating wheel and a housing. The insertion shaft includes a first end portion, and the first end portion is provided with a first engagement portion. The wheel bracket is connected to the insertion shaft. The rotating wheel is mounted on the wheel bracket. The housing includes a first housing and a second housing engaged with each other, and both the first housing and the second housing cover an outer side of the rotating wheel. The detachment mechanism includes a sliding member slidably disposed within the transverse guide groove and an elastic member connected to the sliding member.
Caster
A caster whose overall height can be reduced. A caster includes a wheel, a wheel support portion having a plate shape provided with an opening where the wheel is disposed and rotatably supporting the wheel, and a swivel mechanism portion that holds an outer peripheral portion of the opening in the wheel support portion in a horizontally swivelable manner.
Self-positioning swivel caster mechanisms
A self-positioning swivel caster may include a swivel mechanism that defines a home position of the caster. The swivel mechanism may include a compression spring, an upper cam, and a lower cam that is coupled to the caster wheel, in which the upper and lower cams include mating surfaces that define the home position. A bias force applied by the compression spring to the upper cam may cause rotation of the lower cam to the home position. When coupled to mobile containers, self-positioning swivel casters in home positions may increase clearance under the mobile containers for robotic drive units or other material handling equipment used to move the mobile containers, and the self-positioning swivel casters in home positions may also prevent drift or rolling of the mobile containers away from current locations.
SUSPENSION WHEEL FOR LUGGAGE CASES
A wheel for a luggage case, including an hub rotatably coupled to the luggage case, an outer rim radially spaced a distance from the hub by a plurality of spokes, and a tread portion positioned around the outer rim for engaging a support surface. At least one of the spokes includes a suspension portion having a shape that is curved around and concave to the axis of rotation. The suspension portion resiliently deflects to absorb impact loads to the wheel.
Spring Compression Casters and Jackstand Apparatus
A caster having a spring feature configured to compress along the stem of the caster when subject to load. The spring achieves maximum compression when subjected to a maximum specified load value. One or more casters may be used in tandem with a jackstand apparatus. When the jackstand is presented without any additional force, the combined spring force of all casters utilized is sufficient to support the weight of the jackstand without achieving maximum compression. When subject to a sufficiently large additional force, each of the springs will achieve maximum compression, and the jackstand apparatus will interact with the supporting terrain directly, resulting a direct transfer of additional load to the terrain through the jackstand apparatus. Some embodiments may comprise a distinct jackstand and cart configuration. Some embodiments may comprise an integrated configuration.
Universal wheel
The invention discloses a universal wheel including a support base, the support base including a top portion connected with a steering assembly that enables 360 rotation of the universal wheel, and a rolling assembly, the rolling assembly including an axle and a roller rotatably connected to the axle. A coordinate system is constructed with a center of the roller as an origin, a traveling direction of the roller as a negative direction of an abscissa, and a direction perpendicular to the abscissa and extending upward as a positive direction of an ordinate, the support base has a chute located in a first quadrant, and the axle is slidably connected to the chute along a radial direction of the roller. This apparatus has good shock absorbing performance and a strong obstacle-crossing ability.
