Aqueous surfactant compositions
Compositions containing one or more alkyl lactate sulfate (A) of the general formula (I),
R.sup.1(OCOCH(CH.sub.3)).sub.nOSO.sub.3M.sup.1(I)
in which the radical R.sup.1 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, the index n is a number in the range from 1 to 5, and the radical M.sup.1 is selected from H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium, and alkanolamine, one or more compound (B) selected from phosphoric acid and the mono-, di- and tri-salts thereof, wherein the cation of these salts is selected from Li, Na, K, Ca, Mg, ammonium, and alkanolamine, one or more compound (C) selected from citric acid and the mono-, di- and tri-salts thereof, wherein the cation of these salts is selected from Li, Na, K, Ca, Mg, ammonium, and alkanolamine, and water
where the following provisos apply: the weight ratio of the sum total of the compounds (B) and (C) to the sum total of the compound (A) is in the range from 1:5 to 1:10. the weight ratio of the sum total of the compound (B) to the sum total of the compound (C) is in the range from 1:1.2 to 1:3. the pH of the compositions is in the range from 4.5 to 7.5.
Aqueous surfactant compositions
Compositions containing one or more alkyl lactate sulfate (A) of the general formula (I),
R.sup.1(OCOCH(CH.sub.3)).sub.nOSO.sub.3M.sup.1(I)
in which the radical R.sup.1 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical having 6 to 30 carbon atoms, the index n is a number in the range from 1 to 5, and the radical M.sup.1 is selected from H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium, and alkanolamine, one or more compound (B) selected from phosphoric acid and the mono-, di- and tri-salts thereof, wherein the cation of these salts is selected from Li, Na, K, Ca, Mg, ammonium, and alkanolamine, one or more compound (C) selected from citric acid and the mono-, di- and tri-salts thereof, wherein the cation of these salts is selected from Li, Na, K, Ca, Mg, ammonium, and alkanolamine, and water
where the following provisos apply: the weight ratio of the sum total of the compounds (B) and (C) to the sum total of the compound (A) is in the range from 1:5 to 1:10. the weight ratio of the sum total of the compound (B) to the sum total of the compound (C) is in the range from 1:1.2 to 1:3. the pH of the compositions is in the range from 4.5 to 7.5.
Gel base in the form of a translucent gel without triethanolamine
The invention relates to a new composition in the form of a translucent, advantageously transparent, gel, without triethanolamine, comprising at least a fatty body in the form of an oleic acid an aqueous phase; and a base or a mixture of bases. The invention also relates to compositions, advantageously cosmetic compositions, comprising said gel base, such as a shaving gel. The invention also relates to a method for preparing said gel base, a shaving method, the use of said gel base and a shaving kit.
Gel base in the form of a translucent gel without triethanolamine
The invention relates to a new composition in the form of a translucent, advantageously transparent, gel, without triethanolamine, comprising at least a fatty body in the form of an oleic acid an aqueous phase; and a base or a mixture of bases. The invention also relates to compositions, advantageously cosmetic compositions, comprising said gel base, such as a shaving gel. The invention also relates to a method for preparing said gel base, a shaving method, the use of said gel base and a shaving kit.

This invention relates to anhydrous polymer film compositions containing various polysaccharide ingredients useful for numerous applications. The invention relates to anhydrous liquid compositions that, when dried down, form a film that can release desired ingredients in a controlled and extended-use way. The films can be erodible, partially soluble or completely soluble when used in conjunction with water or water vapor.

An aqueous surfactant composition containing one or more alpha-sulfo fatty acid disalts (A) of the general formula (I),
R.sup.1CH(SO.sub.3M.sup.1)COOM.sup.2(I) in which the radical R.sup.1 is a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl radical with 6 to 16 carbon atoms and the radicals M.sup.1 and M.sup.2independently of one anotherare selected from the group H, Li, Na, K, Ca/2, Mg/2, ammonium and alkanolamine, one or more alkyl glycosides (B) of the general formula (II),
R.sup.2O-[G].sub.p(I) in which R.sup.2 is an alkyl and/or alkenyl radical with 8 to 18 carbon atoms, G is a sugar radical with 5 or 6 carbon atoms and p is numbers between 1 and 10, and water are disclosed. The composition has excellent foaming ability and is suitable for use in cosmetic products.

R.sup.2O-[G].sub.p(I) in which R.sup.2 is an alkyl and/or alkenyl radical with 8 to 18 carbon atoms, G is a sugar radical with 5 or 6 carbon atoms and p is numbers between 1 and 10, and water are disclosed. The composition has excellent foaming ability and is suitable for use in cosmetic products.
SHAVING AID APPLICATION APPARATUS
A shaving aid application apparatus is disclosed. According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, the apparatus includes a containing portion configured to hold a shaving aid; a head coupled to one side of the containing portion, an aid applying surface formed at one surface of the head; and multiple jetting holes located at the aid applying surface. A spraying gap is defined between at least a portion of the containing portion and at least a portion of the head, and the shaving aid is expelled from the containing portion to pass through the spraying gap and provided through the multiple jetting holes.
SURFACTANT COMPOSITION
A surfactant composition comprising a sugar-based surfactant comprising a C8-C16 alkyl glucoside, a C8-C16 alkyl polyglucoside, or a combination of a C8-C16 alkyl glucoside and a C8-C16 alkyl polyglucoside; a C8-C18 amphodiacetate; a C8-C16 acyl sarcosinate, a C8-C16 acyl glutamate, a C8-C16 acyl glycinate, or a combination thereof; and optionally a C8-C14 acyl lactylate, wherein the composition is free of sulfated anionic surfactants.
