APPARATUS FOR SUPPORT OF PATIENTS AND MEDICAL FLUID LINES
The invention provides a medical intravenous support apparatus that facilitates patient mobility while reducing the likelihood of an accidental fall. The design incorporates improved features for bag support, tube management, cord management, patient steadiness, user-friendly braking, and electric power supply.
Floor brake assembly for an article of furniture
A floor brake assembly for an article of furniture includes a base adapted to be affixed to an article of furniture, a plunger having a brake pad at a plunger first end where the brake pad engages a floor and a second position where the brake pad is free of the floor, a pivot arm rotatably mounted to the base, a first activation arm pivotally mounted to the base, and a second activation arm pivotally mounted to the base. The pivot arm is rotated to a braking position and an unbraking position.
Cart stabilization devices, systems, and methods
Devices, assemblies, systems, and methods are disclosed for stabilizing a cart. An example cart is a surgical cart having a robotic arm thereon. A stabilizer system may be part of or used with the cart to stabilize the cart at a location. The stabilizer system may include a stabilizer and an actuator. The stabilizer may have a foot and a biaser configured to bias the foot to a retracted position and contribute to an amount of force applied to a floor supporting the cart when the foot is in a deployed position. The actuator acts on the stabilizer to overcome a bias force biasing the stabilizer to the retracted position and cause feet of the stabilizer to contact the floor. Once the feet of the stabilizer contact the floor, a spring of the biaser causes the foot to apply a predetermined force amount to the floor.
Device rack with braking function
A device rack with a braking function includes a base, a column tube, a mounting member, a plurality of universal rolling members and a brake member telescopically and movably arranged to form the device rack with a braking release state and a braking state. The base achieves centered braking on the support surface by controlling the linked brake member, which facilitates a user to adjust operating state of the device rack to switch between a rotatable and translatable braking release state and a rotatable-only braking state.
Trailer brake
A parking brake used on the tongue jack wheel of a boat trailer to keep the boat trailer from moving is disclosed. The parking brake attaches to a trailer tongue jack wheel assembly that is standard on most boat trailers. The disclosed brake replaces chock blocks so those do not have to be transported with the trailer.
