MOVING MECHANISM, MOBILE CARRIER, AND LUGGAGE
A moving mechanism configured to be assembled to an object to adjust a movement of the object is provided. The moving mechanism includes a bracket, a first wheel, a brake module, a control module, and a sensing module. The bracket is assembled to the object. The first wheel and the brake module are assembled to the bracket. The control module communicates with and drives the brake module. The sensing module communicates with the brake module, and the sensing module is configured to sense an orientation of the object. The control module adjusts a brake force of the brake module on the first wheel based on the orientation of the object.
Adjustable highchair assembly
An adjustable highchair. The adjustable highchair includes attachments for seating multiple children simultaneously for convenience when seating multiple children for feeding or other activities. An interchangeable chair assembly is attachable to a height adjustable stem. Each chair assembly includes one or more seats that support a child.
Brake assistance system for patient handling equipment
A brake assist system for patient handling equipment such as a patient bed includes a drive wheel. The wheel includes a brake assist system operated by control of a controlled unit which is operable to sense tilt of the handling equipment and to apply partial breaking to the wheel when it is detected that the equipment is on a slope. The control unit controls a maximum speed of the equipment down the slope, in order to protect the patient and to assist a care worker. The control unit disengages the brake assist mechanism when it is detected that the equipment is on a horizontal surface.
Convertible personal multimedia pod
The present disclosure provides personal multimedia pods that convert from an enclosable premium theater system with seating for one or more users to an unenclosed chair and/or to an output audio/video device capable of connecting (e.g., wirelessly connecting) to other audio/visual equipment.
Caster wheel assembly
A caster-wheel assembly (100; 200) for a vehicle, for example a wheelchair or powered wheelchair. The caster-wheel assembly comprises a switch (13) coupled to a housing (3); a castering wheel bracket (9) configured to receive a wheel (10), wherein the bracket is rotatably mounted about a caster pivot axis (28) with respect to the housing; biasing means (15) configured to provide a biasing force such that the wheel bracket is biased away from the housing; and a switch-actuating member (13) coupled to the wheel bracket such that movement of the wheel bracket towards the housing and against the biasing force causes the switch-actuating member to actuate the switch.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PATIENT TRANSFER
Various methods and systems are provided for patient transfer. In one example, a method for controlling a patient table having a plurality of lockable casters comprises adjusting locking of the lockable casters sequentially in response to an indication of reversing of the patient table.
AUTOMATIC SPEED REDUCING WHEEL
An automatic speed reducing wheel includes a wheel unit and a speed reducing unit. The wheel unit includes a wheel seat, a wheel axle passing through the wheel seat, and a roller rotating about the wheel axle. A plurality of blockers is disposed on one side of the wheel frame in adjacent to an edge thereof in a radiation shape arrangement. The blockers rotate along with the roller. The speed reducing unit includes a fixing seat and a sliding member. The fixing seat is on one side of the roller and includes a sliding bore. The sliding member is slidably disposed in the sliding bore and includes an elastic portion having a blocking portion. When the roller moves downhill, the blocking portion of the sliding member protrudes out of an outer side of the sliding bore to interrupt a rotation route of the blockers, achieving a speed reducing effect.
CASTER WITH BRAKING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a caster, having a housing, having an axle pin which is arranged in a housing opening which is oriented substantially horizontally, and on which at least one wheel is mounted, having, at the top, a pin opening oriented substantially vertically, for receiving a pivot pin, and having a braking device which brakes the at least one wheel, wherein the housing opening for the axle pin allows limited vertical displaceability of the axle pin and the braking device comprises at least one resilient housing part which acts on the axle pin. In order to provide a mechanically reliable braking device, the braking device is additionally provided with at least one spring element which cooperates with the at least one resilient housing part and amplifies the effect of its braking force and/or increases the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the at least one resilient housing part.
ADAPTER FOR A ROLLING ASSEMBLY AND ROLLING ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SAME
A flexible adapter (1) for a rolling assembly, said rolling assembly comprising a tyre (2) having two beads (21), a rim (3) and two adapters (1) each intended to ensure the joint between one of the beads (21) and the rim (3), said rim (3) having two rim seats (31) each extended axially outwards by a rim flange (32), the rim seat having a diameter D3, the adapter comprising an axially outer end (11) and a body (12) oriented substantially axially and disposed between said axially outer end (11) and said axially inner end (10), said body (12) having a radially outer face (121) and a radially inner face (122), having the intersection between the shoulder (111) of the axially outer end (11) of the adapter (1) and the substantially tapered face of said adapter seat (13) forming a circle of diameter D1, said adapter seat (13) having a substantially tapered face of angle , in which the difference d between the diameters D1 and D3, d=D1D3, lies between 25.9 mm and 30.4 mm and the angle is greater than 0.5.
