MULTI-PEDAL-CONTROLLED CASTER AND METHOD FOR USING CASTER
A multi-pedal-controlled caster and a method for using the caster are provided. The multi-pedal-controlled caster includes a main body support, a connecting rod, an orientation mechanism, a braking mechanism, a reset mechanism, a first inner tooth member, a second inner tooth member, a pair of wheel members and three elastic members, where the main body support is relatively rotatable and is combined with the connecting rod, and the first inner tooth member and the second inner tooth member are fixedly mounted on the connecting rod. A multifunctional pedal is treaded to push a first warping plate to make the first warping plate clamped into a first recess portion of the first inner tooth member, so that the caster can run in an orientated manner; and the multifunctional pedal is treaded again to push an auxiliary braking member.
Caster for movable objects
The invention relates to a caster for movable objects, and more particularly a bed caster, and at least comprises: a running wheel; a fork receiving said running wheel; a guide tube which is designed to be swivelable relative to the fork via at least one bearing; locking means provided on the fork side; and a braking system which can be brought into operative connection with the running wheel and is designed to block rotation of the wheels, characterised in that the braking system includes a brake shoe, a brake spindle, a guide pin and a cup-shaped guide element, wherein the brake spindle has groove-shaped guides, the cup-shaped guide element is provided with projections, and the projections can be brought into operative connection with the guides of the brake spindle in order to form the anti-rotation means.
Double-lock caster
An operating shaft rises and falls by abutting against a cam surface of a cam rotatably built into the upper part of a stem. A swivel-preventing plate part is fixed to the lower end of the operating shaft. An engagement member is fixed to a support yoke and regulates the swiveling by engaging with the swivel-preventing plate part. A brake shoe part is fixed to the lower part of the swivel-preventing plate part and brakes by abutting against a treat surface of a wheel when the operating shaft falls. A link cam causes a link cam to pivot and causes a brake plate to rise and fall by connected to the brake shoe part. A protruding part for braking, by displacement of the brake plate, is capable of engaging with and disengaging from an annular engagement receiving part formed in the inner periphery of the wheel.
Roller
The invention relates to a roller (1), preferably comprising two wheels (2) and a locking device, an activating part (10) acting on the locking device for releasing or locking, and the activating part (10) being movable by a drive, a movement of a transmission part (7) that is generated by the drive being transmitted via spring force to the activating part (10) for moving same, and a spring (8) being supported on the transmission part. In order to provide a roller that allows an advantageous constructional design, it is proposed that a support region is formed for the spring (8) and/or the spring (9) and/or the compression spring (44) on the activating part (10), through which region the transmission part (7) can pass.
Overbed table
An overbed table may have a base support frame with at least three casters and a rechargeable battery. A motor housing with a top wall having an opening may be attached to the base support and a telescoping column that is hollow tubular is attached at a bottom end to the motor housing over the opening to extend upwardly. A linear motor is positioned in the motor housing with a linear motor actuator projecting through the opening and into the telescoping housing wherein an extension member of the linear motor actuator is attached at a top end to a slidable table column member of the telescoping housing. Servo housing is attached at a top end of the slidable table column member with a servomechanism attached in the servo housing positioned for a rotating shaft of the servomechanism to engage a circular bracket attached adjacent to a first end of a table wherein the circular bracket is rotatably engaged with the servo housing. The rechargeable battery is in electrical communication with a control processor of a control panel attached adjacent the first end of the table, to the linear motor and to the servomechanism.
FOLDABLE STROLLER
A foldable stroller, comprising a frame (10), at least one leg (16) pivotally mounted at the lower end of the frame (10) and pivotal with respect thereto between an operable configuration in which said frame (10) extends at an angle relative to vertical and said at least one leg (16) extends from the front of the frame (10), and a folded configuration in which said leg (16) is located behind the backrest (200). The stroller further comprises a rear mount (22) extending, in the operable configuration, substantially vertically downward from an intermediate location along the length of the frame (10) and being pivotally mounted to the frame (10) such that, in a fully folded configuration, the rear mount (22) can be pivoted to a position substantially parallel to and behind the backrest (200). A rigid linking arm (28) is secured between the at least one leg (16) and the rear mount (22) such that when the leg (16) is pivoted, corresponding pivoting of the rear mount (22) is effected. A pivot mechanism between the leg (16) and the frame (10) is provided with a lock having an actuator.
DOUBLE-LOCK CASTER
Art operating shall rises and fails by abutting against a cam surface of a cam rotatably built into the upper part of a stem. A swivel-preventing plate part is fixed to the lower end of the operating shaft. An engagement member is fixed to a support yoke and regulates the swiveling by engaging with the swivel-preventing plate part. A brake shoe part is fixed to the lower part of the swivel-preventing plate pail and brakes by abutting against a treat surface of a wheel when the operating shaft falls. A link cam causes a link cam to pivot and causes a brake plate to rise and fall by connected to the brake shoe part. A protruding part for braking, by displacement of the brake plate, is capable of engaging with and disengaging from an annular engagement receiving part formed in the inner periphery of the wheel.
Hospital bed obstacle detection apparatus
A hospital bed obstacle detection device and related method for detecting an obstacle between first and second components of a hospital bed is provided.
CASTOR FOR MOVABLE OBJECTS
A castor for movable objects, in particular a bed castor, at least includes a running wheel, a fork receiving the same one, a guiding tube which is swiveling with respect to the fork via at least one bearing, a lock provided on the side of the fork as well as a brake system which is rotation-proof and can be operatively connected to the running wheel. The brake system includes an essentially cylindrical fixing element which is profiled on one side and can be operatively connected to a polygonal safety element on the side of the fork for forming the rotation lock.
