Movable umbrella base
A movable umbrella base comprises a housing (1), a wheel frame (2) disposed under the bottom of the housing (1), at least three wheels (3) connected at intervals to the wheel frame (2) and located partially under the wheel frame (2), a plurality of air bags (4) located inside a space defined by the wheel frame (2) and the housing (1), and a plurality of elastic members (6) limit displacement of the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) from the housing (1); when the air bags (4) are inflated, the housing (1) is lifted up relative to the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) from the ground; when the air bags (4) are deflated, the housing (1) is lowered relative to the wheel frame (2) and the wheels (3) and contacts the ground. The umbrella base can be moved by the air bags (4), the whole operation process is easier, and it saves more time and effort.
Apparatus for Spring Centered Caster Wheel
An autonomous delivery vehicle having one or more caster wheels that may be held off the ground for a portion of the time that the autonomous delivery vehicle travels. Each caster wheel is mounted in a pivot with a centering mechanism to hold the caster wheels in a design orientation. The caster wheel in the design orientation maximizes the view of forward-looking sensors on the autonomous delivery vehicle. The centering mechanism uses a compression spring that drives a follower and swashshaft to apply a rotation force on the caster wheels. The rotational force urges the casters frame and wheels to return to a design position. The rotational force increases with the rotational difference between the caster rotational position and the design position.
TRANSPORTATION ASSEMBLY AND INTERFACE DEVICE
A transportation assembly for transportation of an object on a surface comprises at least four rolling devices, a transportation body and at least one interface element for each rolling device. The interface element is adapted for connecting the rolling device to the transportation body. The interface element for mounting or integration of a rolling device to/into an object comprises an upper part and a lower part, where the upper part and the lower part comprise complimentary shaped guiding means.

Patient transport apparatus with auxiliary wheel system
A patient transport apparatus transports a patient over a floor surface. The patient transport apparatus comprises a support structure and support wheels coupled to the support structure. An auxiliary wheel is coupled to the support frame to influence motion of the patient transport apparatus over a floor surface. The auxiliary wheel is movable to a deployed position with the auxiliary wheel engaging the floor surface and a stowed position with the auxiliary wheel spaced a distance from the floor surface. An actuator assembly including a lift actuator a biasing device, and a biasing load adjustment assembly. The lift actuator is operable to move the auxiliary wheel to the deployed position and to the stowed position. The biasing device configured to bias the auxiliary wheel towards the deployed position. The biasing load adjustment assembly configured to adjust a biasing force being applied by the biasing device to the auxiliary wheel.
Retractable guard assemblies
Particular embodiments disclosed herein provide a retractable guard assembly coupled to a caster of a mobile equipment, comprising a housing and one or more guards at least partially disposed in the housing. The one or more guards are independently movably coupled to the housing. The retractable guard assembly further comprises corresponding one or more biasing elements coupled to the one or more guards and to the housing for biasing the one or more guards towards a fully deployed state. When the one or more guards are in the fully deployed state, contact between a fixed object and a portion of the one or more guards disposed outside the housing causes the one or more guards to transition into a retracted state, and when the contact is removed, the corresponding one or more biasing elements cause the one or more guards to transition into the fully deployed state.

Actuating Mechanism for a Caster
An actuating mechanism for a caster that brakes and positions the caster by means of a cam mechanism that enables braking of the caster using minimum forces developed on the brake lever or brake rod. The mechanism helps to handle casters of patient support apparatuses in hospital and nursery facilities easily, using minimum force developed by caregivers or by an electronic caster brake systems if used for braking of casters of patient support apparatuses, as well. The mechanism may produce an outstanding decrease of noise level of castors on patient support apparatuses.
ANTI-TIP WHEELCHAIR
There is described a wheelchair comprising a wheelchair frame, a pair of drive wheels configured to contact a ground surface when the wheelchair is in use, each drive wheel rotating about an axis of rotation, at least one front wheel mounted to a front-end portion of the wheelchair frame, and an anti-tip assembly mounted to a rear-end portion of the wheelchair frame, which anti-tip assembly includes at least one pivot arm that is supported onto the rear-end portion of the wheelchair frame so as to be pivotable with respect to the wheelchair frame about a pivot axis. The pivot arm includes a drive wheel attachment point coinciding with the axis of rotation and providing attachment of at least one of the drive wheels and a wheelchair frame attachment point coinciding with the pivot axis and providing attachment of the pivot arm to the rear-end portion of the wheelchair frame. The anti-tip assembly further comprises a rear wheel that is provided at a distal end of the pivot arm, rearward of the drive wheels, and that is configured to contact the ground surface when the wheelchair is in use. The anti-tip assembly is configured to allow the wheelchair frame to tilt backwards into a predetermined stable titled position with the at least one front wheel in a raised position above the ground surface, while the drive wheels and the rear wheel remain in contact with the ground surface. In one embodiment, the pivot arm is attached, via the wheelchair frame attachment point, to a bracket of the wheelchair frame, which bracket is provided with an arcuate opening configured to allow passage of a drive wheel axis of the drive wheel, which drive wheel axis is coupled to the pivot arm, via the drive wheel attachment point, the arcuate opening defining a predetermined range of pivoting movement of the pivot arm with respect to the wheelchair frame.
