QUICK RELEASE STRUCTURE
A quick release structure includes a rod member, an arm member, a restriction member, and a pushing means. The rod member includes a toothed member having a plurality of rows of first teeth arranged spacedly thereon. The arm member has a plurality of rows of second teeth arranged spacedly on its inner peripheral surface. The arm member is sleeved on the toothed member and is axially slidable. The restriction member is disposed on the rod member. The pushing means is arranged between the rod member and the arm member to make the rows of first teeth and the rows of second teeth being engaged normally. When the arm member is moved axially to a rotation position, the rows of first teeth and the rows of second teeth are staggered and aligned alternately so that the arm member is rotatable relative to the rod member.
Safety restraint for break-away wheel assemblies
A semi-trailer wheel restraint system having a bearing swivel and one or more cable sections and hub cab attachments for receipt into and through a hollow core of the trailer's axle. During a wheel bearing failure, the wheel restraint system keeps the loose wheel assembly near the end of the axle by anchoring it to the opposite-end's hub cap, thereby preventing a run-away wheel assembly and providing an operator of the truck an opportunity to safely stop the rig.

Method for Producing an Axle Housing of a Vehicle Axle, and Axle Housing of a Vehicle Axle
The invention relates to a method for producing an axle housing of a vehicle axle, by means of integrally connecting an axle tube (1) to an axle shaft (2) which is positioned on the longitudinal axis (L) of the axle tube, is equipped with bearing surfaces (3) for mounting a vehicle wheel, and has a tube cross-section facing said axle tube (1) which is substantially the same as the tube cross-section of the axle tube. In order to develop a welding method for the production of an axle housing that consists of an axle tube and an axle shaft secured thereto, which method is optimised in terms of the dynamic loads to which the axle housing is typically subjected in a driving operation, the method comprises the following steps: arranging the axle tube (1) and the axle shaft (2), with the abutting surfaces of their tube cross-sections positioned coaxially to one another, in a workpiece receiving portion of a welding installation (10), said welding installation additionally comprising an arc welding device (11) and a laser welding device (12) which is operated in parallel, continuously miming a weld seam (20) in the peripheral direction of the tube cross-sections, both welding devices (11, 12) being directed, actively and from the outside, onto substantially the same peripheral section of the abutting surfaces, wherein the laser beam (S) meets the outside (14) of the tube at right angles, and intersects the longitudinal axis (L) of the axle tube (1), and stopping running the weld seam (20) once this has passed over a peripheral angle of at least 360. A corresponding axle housing is also disclosed.
Unitized wheelend assembly and method of installation
A unitized wheelend is provided. The unitized wheelend includes a hub having an inboard side bounded by an oil seal and an outboard side bounded by a retainer releasably coupled to the hub. The unitized wheelend assembly includes an inboard bearing assembly, a spacer, an outboard bearing assembly, and a spindle nut assembly.
Load span tag axle system
Systems and apparatuses include a chassis mount configured to couple to a vehicle chassis, an axle assembly including wheels, a four-bar linkage coupling the axle assembly to the chassis mount, and a hydraulic cylinder coupled between the chassis mount and the axle assembly. The hydraulic cylinder actuates the axle assembly between a raised position and a lowered position and acts as a spring damper suspension component.
AXLE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Described herein is an axle assembly and method of fabrication thereof. The axle assembly includes an axle having a first geometric shape housed within an axle housing having a second geometric shape. A shock absorber is located between the axle and the axle housing. The shock absorber supports the axle within the axle housing and comprises a first material and comprises a multi-sided configuration. The first geometric shape and the second geometric shape comprising polygons.

Spindle Nut Cap
A cap is provided for covering the threaded end of a removable spindle, having a cover with thread engaging tabs extending from a reservoir basin. The tabs include surface projections for retaining the cap to the spindle threads. The tabs are formed to fit within available slots of a slotted hex nut connected to the spindle. The cap includes a separately formed skirt or guard to make flexible surface contact with the torsion arm or spindle supporting structure. The skirt can include a sacrificial anode region to provide cathodic protection for the spindle threads and spindle retention nut. The skirt is removable from the cap so that the cap can be reused with a new skirt. The cap is formed to be used with existing spindle assemblies and to be reusable.
REINFORCED TRAILER AXLE TUBE WITH REPLACEABLE SPINDLE ASSEMBLY
An axle tube assembly includes an axle tube, a first tube reinforcement apparatus disposed in the axle tube at one end and a second identical tube reinforcement apparatus disposed into the axle tube at the second end the reinforcement apparatuses welded in place to the axle tube, a first spindle assembly coupled to the first tube reinforcement apparatus, a second spindle assembly coupled to the second tube reinforcement apparatus, and an elongated connector rod or tube connected to the first and second to reinforcement apparatuses inside the axle tube and disposed between the reinforcement apparatuses the first and second spindle assemblies having spindle bodies welded to the cylindrical ends of the axle tube.
