OMNI-WHEEL CABLE PUSHER

Cable protector devices, assemblies, and systems. The cable protection system may include a moveable system with wheels for moving the moveable system across a floor and a cable pusher attached to each of the wheels. Each cable pusher may include a frame with a pair of deflector legs configured to be positioned in front of and behind each wheel in close proximity to the floor. The cable pusher may be magnetically secured to the wheel, and the deflector legs may magnetically connect to the frame. As the wheels spin or rotate, the frame and deflector legs remain stationary, thereby pushing obstacles out of the way.

Walking aid device

A walking aid device includes a support body inclusive of a plurality of support elements extending toward the ground. Each support element is coupled to a caster and a brake unit. Each brake unit has a clutching surface. The clutching surface controllably clutches a wheel of the caster or the ground to thereby generate friction for stopping the walking aid device.

Wheelchair comprising wheel axle and hub
09795523 · 2017-10-24 · ·

The present disclosure relates to a wheelchair comprising a wheel axle (1) having a wheel axle end portion (9) and hub (3) having a central through-opening (11) arranged to receive the wheel axle end portion (9). The wheel axle end portion (9) has an external surface having three chamfered faces (3a, 3b), each chamfered face (3a, 3b) defining a planar surface, and the hub (3) has inner walls (13a, 13b, 13c) defining the central through-opening (11). The inner walls (13a, 13b, 13c) are arranged to engage with the chamfered faces (3a, 3b) of the wheel axle end portion (9) to prevent relative rotation between the hub (3) and the wheel axle (1).

WHEEL AND A WHEELCHAIR USING THE SAME

Provided is a wheel which is inexpensive, light, and sufficiently rigid. A wheel 6a includes an annular rim 60 to which a tire 6b is externally fitted, a hub 61 which is arranged at a center portion of the rim 60 and to which an axle is connected, and a disk 62 which is attached with the rim 60 at a periphery portion and which covers one side of the wheel 6a. The disk 62 includes a planar portion 62a and a first rib 62b provided at a surface of one side of the planar portion 62a and extending in the radial direction. The planar portion 62a is provided with a first groove 62d at a surface of the other side at a position corresponding to the first rib 62b.

Bidirectional movement assembly

The present invention relates to motor assisted movement as well as to mobile X-ray systems comprising at least one bidirectional wheel. Positioning heavy objects in in particular confined spaces with high precision may be a cumbersome and tedious task. Consequently, a motor assisted movement assembly as well as an X-ray system comprising at least one bidirectional wheel is presented. According to the present invention a motor assisted movement assembly (19) comprising at least one bidirectional wheel (18) and a motor arrangement associated with the at least one bidirectional wheel (18) is provided. The motor assisted movement assembly (19) is adapted to move on a surface, wherein the at least one bidirectional wheel (18) is adapted to roll in at least a first direction (20) and in at least a second direction (22), with the first direction (20) and the second direction (22) being non-parallel. The motor assisted movement assembly (19) is adapted to detect an indication of a desired movement (16) of the motor assisted movement assembly (19) relative to the surface and the motor arrangement is adapted to assist the movement of the motor assisted movement assembly (19) relative to the surface in accordance with the indication (16).

Mobilization device

A mobilization device adapted to be attached to a piece of conveying equipment such as a gurney. The device includes a base. The coupling structure is connected with the base for supporting at least a portion of the conveying equipment. The device also includes a wheel assembly that is sized to hold the wheels of the conveying equipment off of the ground. The wheel assemblies of the device are used to move the conveying equipment and include tires having a relatively larger height and width to aid in increasing the mobility of the conveying equipment.

Wheel guard
