Axle kit apparatus
An axle kit apparatus for increasing the mobility of foldable sawhorse stands while allowing the tires used to be customizable. The invention consists of an axle that connects all of the pieces together. It is mounted with two fasteners that pass through the axle. Two spindles thread into the axle to allow them to be removable. Two objects with threaded apertures lock the spindles in place as well as provide the necessary preload to the bearing races of any tire used. The invention allows for any size spindle and tires to be used as long as the spindle can thread into the axle.
Wheeled Stepladder Platform Apparatus
A wheeled stepladder platform apparatus for easily moving a stepladder includes a base frame having a left side, a right side, a back side, and a front side forming a rectangle and a crossmember extending from the back side to the front side in parallel opposition to the left side. Each of the left side, the right side, the back side, the front side, and the crossmember is L-shaped and has a vertical portion and a horizontal portion. The base frame is configured to support a stepladder on the horizontal portion. The base frame comprises a back left section, a front left section, a back right section, a front right section, and a plurality of joiner sections joined with a plurality of hardware through a plurality of mounting apertures. A plurality of wheels is coupled to the base frame.
Baby walker apparatus and method of controlling the same
A baby walker comprises sensors and control mechanisms to detect dangerous situations and to stop or substantially slow the baby walker. The baby walker uses proximity sensors, position sensors, presence sensors, and/or communication modules in order to assess the environment for the safety of the child. It also includes a controller that can apply a brake to the wheel assembly to stop or substantially slow the baby walker so as to protect the baby from entering dangerous regions or come in close proximity to objects. The baby walker may further receive and/or transmit information from an external device which may be operated by the child's guardian to define the borders of dangerous regions or a predefined travel distance.
Reducing bearing forces in an electrical machine
A magnetic drive has a prime mover, having a first magnet array on a first surface thereof, and a rotor, having a second magnet array on an outer surface thereof. The outer surface of the rotor is located adjacent to the first surface of the prime mover such that movement of the prime mover causes rotation of the rotor about an axis of rotation. A support member has a shaft for defining the axis of rotation of the rotor, and having a third magnet array, and the third magnet array cooperates with a fourth magnet array on the rotor to form a magnetic bearing to resist forces on the rotor acting along the axis of rotation thereof.
Work aid for a hairdresser
Work aid for a hairdresser, comprising a mobile frame on which frame a seat surface or at least one storage surface is arranged, wherein the frame comprises at least one castor being arranged rotatably in a fork head, and the castor being arranged on an axle, which axle is arranged insertably in each case with a first end portion on a first fork-shaped receptacle on the fork head and with a second end portion on a second fork-shaped receptacle on the fork head.
Moveable carrier and omnidirectional wheel thereof
An omnidirectional wheel is provided. The omnidirectional wheel includes a plurality of major brackets, a plurality of minor brackets, a plurality of major wheels and a plurality of minor wheels. The major brackets include a first major bracket. The minor brackets include a first minor bracket. The major wheels include a first major wheel, wherein the major wheels are connected to the respective major brackets, the first major wheel is connected to the first major bracket, the first major wheel is rotatable around a first axis, and the first major bracket extends in a first extending direction. The minor wheels include a first minor wheel, wherein the minor wheels are connected to the respective minor brackets, the first minor wheel is connected to the first minor bracket, the first minor wheel is rotatable around a second axis, and the first minor bracket extends in a second extending direction.
Soft-sided container wheel assembly
A soft sided container with a wheel assembly securable to the sidewalls of the container. The wheel assembly is formed from a cage bearing rotatably coupled to a hub. The hub, formed integral with a base plate, engages an internally positioned mounting plate, eliminating the need for a cross axle. The use of a large hub limits rotation to an outer circumference of the wheel assembly.
WHEELS FOR NON-MOTORIZED VEHICLES
A wheel for a non-motorized vehicle (e.g., a shopping cart) can include a housing assembly and a tread assembly. The housing assembly can be configured to sealingly house electronics or other components. The tread assembly can removably mate with the housing assembly such that the electronics or other components remain closed and/or sealed within the housing assembly when the tread assembly is mated or unmated with the housing assembly.
