Bicycle rim with brake track
A rim for a bicycle includes a radially outer tire-engaging portion, a radially inner spoke-engaging portion, a first sidewall and a second sidewall spaced apart from the first sidewall. A brake track is located on the first and second sidewalls including a plurality of grooves formed therein. Each of the plurality of grooves has a radially innermost point and a radially outermost point, wherein the radially outermost point is circumferentially aft of the radially innermost point relative to a forward circumferential travel direction of the rim.
Molding method for fiber-reinforced plastic structure, and vehicle wheel
The present invention applies to a molding method for a fiber-reinforced plastic structure having an internal cavity. Firstly, grain groups, which mainly consist of a plurality of high-rigidity grains, are accommodated in bags, and a plurality of cores are formed. A reinforcing fiber substrate, is placed between the plurality of adjacent cores so as to be interposed therebetween. For example, a plurality of molding base materials are prepared by surrounding each core with a prepreg, and the plurality of molding base materials are combined and placed inside a molding die, and the molding base materials are compression molded. When compression molding, a part of the outer surface of the cores is locally pressurized, and the internal pressure of the cores is increased, changing the shape thereof, thus eliminating voids that are present between the cores and the prepreg and/or the prepreg and the molding surface of the die.

WHEEL PLATE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WHEEL PLATE INCLUDING COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A wheel plate assembly is used to solve the time-consuming problem in the conventional process for bonding a composite material to spokes of a wheel plate. The wheel plate assembly comprises a spoke portion, a connecting member, and a wheel plate body. The spoke portion is a thin shell member and defines an inner space therein. The connecting member is protrusively disposed on an outer side of the spoke portion. The wheel plate body includes a receiving space and at least one passage space intercommunicating with the receiving space. The receiving space and the at least one passage space together extend through the wheel plate body. The at least one passage space intercommunicates with the inner space.
Shaped preform for spoke portion of a composite wheel
A shaped preform component (200A) for a spoke portion (108A) of a composite wheel (100), the shaped preform (200A) comprising: an elongate body (215) configured to be located in a spoke (108) of a composite wheel (100), wherein the shaped preform component (200A) is formed from a cured composite fibre material having a compressibility of <2% volumetric under moulding conditions of 50 bar hydrostatic pressure and a temperature of 60 to 150 C., and wherein the density of the cured composite fibre material is selected to form a counterbalance mass for a mass addition (300) to the composite wheel (100).
INSERT, PROTECTION DEVICE, WHEEL AND VEHCILE
The present application relates to an insert, a protection device, a wheel and a vehicle. The insert is used for a wheel, the wheel comprises a rim, spokes, and a tire, and the insert comprises: a body provided on the rim and/or the spokes; and a protection portion provided on the body, the protection portion at least partially shielding an outer surface of the tire. The technical solution of the embodiments of the present application can form a certain protection effect on a tire of a wheel, improve the reliability and safety of the wheel, and further improve the aesthetic appearance of the wheel.
SPOKE
A spoke includes an axle body and two connecting elements. The axle body has a middle segment and two connecting segments. The two connecting segments are respectively connected to two opposite sides of the middle segment. The two connecting segments each have a first peripheral surface, and the two first peripheral surfaces each are formed with a friction enhancing structure. The two connecting elements respectively wrap at least a part of the two friction enhancing structures by means of injection molding. The two connecting elements each have a second peripheral surface facing away from the axle body, and the two second peripheral surfaces each are formed with a connecting structure.
FARM IRRIGATION WHEEL
A wheel having a circular ring is provided. The circular ring has a rotational axis and an outer surface. A plurality of lugs is mounted in side-by-side positions on said outer surface of the circular ring. Each lug of the plurality of lugs has: a center rib, a first leg and a second leg, each leg extending from the center rib laterally and opposite of each other, and a plate adapted to connect the first leg to the center rib. The outermost point of each center rib may form a circular pattern that is coaxial with the rotational axis. The wheel may have a rim nested within said circular ring, said rim having a plurality of alternating scalloped protrusions. The plurality of lugs may include high traction lugs having plates with distal edges configured to radially extend beyond the center rib to provide traction to the wheel on difficult terrain.
Truck wheel
A hybrid wheel for vehicles that includes a unitary lug structure, with a mount face and a dish section of the lug structure extending therefrom. The lug structure is usually a cast aluminum alloy. A wheel structure including a high strength polymer encapsulates a portion of the lug structure dish section. Rim ring(s) are included in the wheel structure and are preferably made of a fiber reinforced high strength polymer.
COMPOSITE RIM OF VEHICLE WHEEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Disclosed are a composite rim of a vehicle wheel and a method of manufacturing the same, which is reduced in weight through the use of a continuous fiber composite. The rim of a vehicle wheel may be formed by stacking composite sheets, each prepared by impregnating fibers with a resin to form a sheet. The composite sheets may be stacked in multiple layers such that end portions of the respective composite sheets may contact each other in a circumferential direction of the wheel, and discontinuous interfaces, formed at the contacting end portions of the respective composite sheets along an axial direction of the wheel, may not be aligned with each other.
