CONSTANT VELOCITY JOINT ASSEMBLY INTEGRATED WITH WHEEL HUB UNIT
A constant velocity joint assembly integrated with a wheel hub device may include an internal race coupled to an end portion of a driveshaft, a plurality of joint balls held in the internal race, and a hub housing accommodating and coupling the internal race holding the joint balls therein, with a bearing coupled to an external circumferential surface thereof, the hub housing provided as an external race of a constant velocity joint and the wheel hub device.
Wheel bearing unit
Wheel bearing units are disclosed. In one example, a wheel bearing unit includes an outer ring element and an inner ring element, between which there are arranged at least two rolling body rows. The inner ring element may have a radial flange which is fastenable to an axle body or to a wheel. The radial flange and/or the inner ring element may have at least one projection on a surface facing toward the outer ring element.
FLANGED WHEEL HUB UNIT AND ASSEMBLY METHOD
A wheel hub unit having a rotatable hub provided with an axially outer flange and a bearing unit. The bearing unit providing a radially outer ring, a radially inner ring and a plurality of rolling bodies positioned respectively between the radially outer ring and the hub and between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring. The radially inner ring has a finished axial length which ensures a predetermined value of an axial preload of the bearing unit and a finished axial length is defined by the following formula: X=(X+X)X1
CASTER SYSTEM FOR MOVING FURNITURE
A caster system, including a housing portion, which includes first and second side walls defining an operational space therebetween and an upper wall including a central bore. A rolling assembly is disposed in the operational space, and is rotatable relative to the housing. The rolling assembly includes an exterior rim formed of a resilient material having at least one coloring agent embedded therein. A vertical connection assembly includes a shaft adapted to be fixed to a furniture article and to extend through the central bore in the upper wall. The housing portion is rotatable about the shaft of the vertical connection assembly. The coloring agent is adapted to be luminescent or phosphorescent in a dark environment.
ACTION FORCE DETECTING UNIT FOR ROTARY MEMBER
An action force detecting unit for a rotary member that detects a force acting on a rotary member such as a rotary shaft and a wheel easily and accurately. The action force detecting unit comprises: a first rotor rotated integrally with a tire; a second rotor rotated relatively to the first rotor; a case fixed to a vehicle body while rotatably supporting the first rotor and the second rotor; a first thrust bearing supporting the first rotor; a second thrust bearing supporting the second rotor; a load translating mechanism transmitting a torque between the first rotor and the second rotor while translating the torque partially into a thrust force; a detector fixed to the case to detect a flexure relating to the thrust force applied to the second thrust bearing; a calculator calculating the force acting on the tire based on the flexure detected by the detector; and a transmitter transmitting a signal in accordance with a torque calculated by the calculator.
BEARING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE WHEEL
A bearing device 1 for a vehicle wheel, wherein an annular weir part 20 is provided on the outer periphery of an outer-side end part of an outer member 2, the annular weir part 20 having the rotation axis L of an inner member 3 as a center, the weir part 20 having a shape that is asymmetrical between the upper side Us and the lower side Ls of the outer member 2, and the weir part 20 being inclined farther toward the inner side the more a weir wall surface 20a faces outward in the radial direction in a part or all of the upper side Us. Also, the weir part 20 is inclined farther toward the outer side the more the weir wall surface 20a faces outward in the radial direction in a part or all of the lower side Ls.
METHOD FOR SPLINING WHEEL BEARING
A spline-processing method is used for a wheel bearing. The wheel bearing includes outer and inner members. The inner member has formed on its inner periphery an interference-defined spline having a guide spline formed at an inboard-side end portion thereof. An intermediate component of the inner member includes a spline-formation inner peripheral surface having the interference-defined spline and the guide spline formed thereon, and a relief portion, which is formed on an outboard side with respect to the spline-formation inner peripheral surface, and has a diameter larger than that of the spline-formation inner peripheral surface. A punch used for the spline processing includes an integrated spline punch having an interference-defined spline forming surface to form the interference-defined spline, and a guide spline forming surface to form the guide spline. The integrated spline punch presses the spline-formation inner peripheral surface to form the interference-defined spline and the guide spline.
SOFT-SIDED CONTAINER WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A soft sided container with a wheel assembly securable to the sidewalls of the container. The wheel assembly is formed from a cage bearing rotatably coupled to a hub. The hub, formed integral with a base plate, engages an internally positioned mounting plate, eliminating the need for a cross axle. The use of a large hub limits rotation to an outer circumference of the wheel assembly.
Hollow Caster Structure
A hollow caster structure includes a base, a caster body pivotally connected with the base, a first wheel unit mounted on the caster body, and a second wheel unit mounted on the caster body. Each of the first wheel unit and the second wheel unit forms a viewing space. Thus, the viewing space of each of the first wheel unit and the second wheel unit provides a visible effect. In addition, the hollow caster structure has a lighter weight by provision of the viewing space. Further, the parts of the hollow caster structure have different colors which are visible from the viewing space.
