Bearing device for vehicle wheel
A bearing device for a wheel, which has improved axial assembly accuracy of a sealing member by reducing the amount of springback. The bearing device for a wheel comprises an inner sealing member that blocks an inner opening end of an annular space formed by an outer ring and an inner ring. A sealing ring of the inner sealing member has a core metal fitting in the outer ring and an elastic member joined to the core metal. The elastic member has: a pressing part that is pressed inward in the axial direction when the sealing ring is press-fitted into the outer ring; and a non-pressing part that is not pressed inward in the axial direction when the sealing ring is press-fitted into the outer ring, wherein the axial thickness of the pressing part is thinner than the axial thickness of the non-pressing part.
WHEEL BEARING DEVICE
A wheel bearing device for which the work of grinding a wheel hub is simplified. The wheel hub (3) has an inside track groove (3c), a seal land part (3d), a recess (3m), and a flange surface (3k). An outer-side sealing member (10) is provided with a core metal (11) and a sealing member (12). The sealing member includes a contact lip (12d) and a labyrinth lip (12e) facing the recess across a gap. The recess has a bottom (313) located between an outer diameter-side edge (311) and an inner diameter-side edge (312), and a tapered surface (314) that extends in the radial direction from the outer diameter-side edge toward the bottom and tilts toward one end of the axial direction going from the outer diameter-side edge toward the bottom.
Universal wheel assembly and suitcase
The present disclosure relates to a universal wheel assembly and a suitcase including the universal wheel assembly. The universal wheel assembly includes: a base structure including an upper base and a lower base which form a cavity therebetween; and a wheel bail locked in the cavity in a manner such that the wheel ball is capable of rolling in all directions, wherein a bottom of the lower base is provided with an opening enabling a part of the wheel bail to protrude out of a lower end face of the lower base to form an exposed rolling spherical surface, and an inner diameter of the opening is smaller than a diameter of the wheel ball.
WHEEL BEARING UNIT
The invention relates to a wheel bearing unit including a wheel hub. The wheel hub has an integrally formed wheel flange at one end and an inner ring which can be rotated together with the wheel hub. The inner ring is secured on the wheel hub by a rolling rivet connection in order to pretension a row of rolling elements relative to an outer ring. The wheel bearing unit also has an encoder, which is provided on the inner ring and extends radially in the direction of the outer ring, and a protective cover which is secured to the outer ring in order to close and seal annular openings that are formed between the outer ring and the wheel hub. A cylindrical mounting section of the protective cover is pressed into a cylindrical press-in portion of the outer ring, and a shielding section extends from the cylindrical assembly portion inwards in a radial direction (R1). A base section is provided which adjoins the shielding section in order to cover an inner-side end of the wheel hub, and a sealing element is provided on a circumferential surface, which faces away from the outer ring, of the cylindrical assembly portion. The sealing element is formed such that a part of the sealing element protrudes from the mounting section in the axial direction (R2) in order to form a sealing lip which is pressed axially onto a section of the outer ring in order to sealingly rest against this section.
Hub for a bicycle wheel
The invention, in a first variant thereof, relates to a hub for a bicycle wheel with a disc brake. The hub comprises a pin extending along a longitudinal axis (X), a body rotatably mounted on the pin and comprising a coupling portion with a brake disc, a bearing radially interposed between the pin and the body and in axial abutment with the body, a cap associated with a free end portion of the pin and configured to be associated with the frame of the bicycle and a calibrated washer in axial abutment with the pin and one between the cap and the bearing or axially interposed between the bearing and the body. By selecting a calibrated washer of desired thickness, it is possible to precisely position the brake disc with respect to the frame, and thus with respect to the pads associated therewith.
Wheeled luggage case
An axle-free wheel comprising: an outer rim member having a ground interface on an external surface thereof and an outer ball race or rolling race on an inner surface thereof; an inner rim member having an inner ball or rolling race on an outer surface thereof.
Bearing device for vehicle wheel
Provided is a bearing device for a vehicle wheel that is suitable in being able to prevent impairment in assemblability of the bearing device for a vehicle wheel to a knuckle without cost increase. A bearing device for a vehicle wheel (1) is provided with an inner member and an outer ring (2) which is an outer member having a vehicle-body-mounting flange part (2d), wherein the outer ring (2) has a pilot part (2e) disposed inward of the vehicle-body-mounting flange part (2d), and the pilot part (2e) has a fitting portion (2f) configured to be fitted to a knuckle (10) and a guiding portion (2g) having a diameter which gradually decreases inward from the inner-side end of the fitting portion (2f).
BEARING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE WHEEL
A bearing device (1) for a vehicle wheel provided with: an outer member (2); and an inner member comprising a hub wheel (3), and at least one inner wheel (4) press-fitted into the small-diameter ridge (3A) of the hub wheel (3); wherein a belt-shaped part (2F) that radially protrudes by a protrusion amount (P1) is formed over a prescribed width (W1) in the outer peripheral surface of the outer member (2) so that at least part of the belt-shaped part (2F) radially overlaps the outside rolling surface (2D) which is on the vehicle-wheel-attachment-flange-facing side of the outer member (2). The present invention addresses the problem of providing a bearing device for a vehicle wheel in which the amount of deformation in an opening of an outer member can be reduced and decreases in rolling fatigue service life can be prevented while keeping overall weight increase to a minimum.
