Drill attachment for tilling soil
10257971 · 2019-04-16 ·

A drill attachment for tilling soil has an extended drill shaft that is coupled with a till plate. The combination may be driven by an ordinary hand drill. The drill shaft has a stabilizer tip that protrudes beyond the till plate. The till plate includes a plurality of teeth that dig into and work top soil, while a generally planar disk-shaped body member at the top of the till plate prevents the till plate from sinking below the surface of the soil. The teeth are stamped from the till plate, forming openings in the generally planar disk-shaped body member. These openings and other optional openings cooperate with the teeth to further break up clumps of soil, and help to balance forces from the teeth pulling into the soil against the force of the body member that resists sinking into the earth. Optional weed-out and hole tools are also disclosed.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING VARIATIONS IN THE PENETRATION DEPTHS OF GROUND-ENGAGING TOOLS OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT BASED ON MONITORED TIRE PRESSURES

In one aspect, a system for reducing variations in the penetration depths between ground-engaging tools of an agricultural implement may include an implement having tires spaced apart from each other. The system may also include pressure sensors provided in operative association with the tires, each pressure sensor being configured for detecting an air pressure within the associated tire, Additionally, the system may include a controller communicatively coupled to the pressure sensors. The controller may be configured to monitor an air pressure differential between a pair of tires based on measurement signals received from the pressure sensors. The air pressure differential may be indicative of variability in the penetration depths of the ground-engaging tools. Furthermore, the controller may be configured initiate a control action associated with reducing the variability in the penetration depths of ground-engaging tools when the air pressure differential exceeds or falls below a predetermined tire pressure differential threshold.

Riding hydraulically driven aerator

A riding hydraulically driven aerator is disclosed herein. The aerator includes a frame, an engine, one or more hydraulic pumps, one or more drive wheels, one or more tine assemblies, and one or more hydraulic motors. The hydraulic motors are coupled to the drive wheels and to the tine assemblies. The hydraulic pumps provide power to the hydraulic motors and are coupled to the engine with a toothed timing belt.

ATTACHABLE TILLING DEVICE

An attachable tilling device for a vehicle is provided. The device includes a housing having a base member, wherein a pair of opposing side members extend downwardly from a first end and a second end thereof. A bar member is rotatably affixed between the pair of opposing side members, wherein the bar member rotates about a longitudinal axis. The bar member includes a plurality of tilling blades affixed thereto. A gear system is operably connected to the bar member, wherein the gear system rotates the bar member. A gearbox is disposed on an upper side of the housing, wherein a pair of shaft members are operably connected to the gearbox, wherein a first shaft member connects to the gear system and a second shaft member connects to a motor, such that when the motor is actuated, power is transferred to the gearbox, thereby rotating the plurality of tilling blades.

Livestock bedding groomer
10098316 · 2018-10-16 · ·

The bedding groomer comprises a frame attachable to an ag vehicle such as a skid loader or tractor for movement down the alley of a free stall barn. Pivotally supported on the frame is an elongate shroud that can be moved from a raised travel position to a lowered, laterally extending working position by a hydraulic cylinder. Rotatably mounted within the shroud is an elongated arbor driven by a hydraulic motor. Along the length of the arbor is a plurality of radially projecting tines. As the ag vehicle travels down the alley, the tines dig into the animal bedding material, churning it, to break up hard packed and compressed areas and to aerate deep within the bedding to aid in aerobic composting any organic material, such as manure, that is present in the bedding.

Transmission of agricultural vehicle

The present disclosure relates to a transmission of an agricultural vehicle, the transmission including: a forward shift unit for performing shift with respect to drive transmitted from an engine of an agricultural vehicle; a clutch unit connected to the forward shift unit so as to selectively output drive transmitted from the forward shift unit; an adjustment unit connected to the clutch unit; and a backward shift unit connected to the adjustment unit so as to perform shift with respect to drive transmitted from the adjustment unit. The adjustment unit includes: a first adjustment mechanism connected to a first clutch mechanism included in the clutch unit; a second adjustment mechanism connected to a second clutch mechanism included in the clutch unit; and an integration mechanism connected to both the first adjustment mechanism and the second adjustment mechanism. The backward shift unit includes one backward shift mechanism connected to the integration mechanism.

Dual-direction tiller/cultivator

A driveline assembly for equipment, such as a tiller, includes a pair of counter-rotating bevel gears supported on a wheel shaft and rotatable relative to the wheel shaft. The driveline assembly includes a first slider gear movable between a first position in which the first slider gear is engaged with a first bevel gear of the pair of bevel gears, and a second position in which the first slider gear is engaged with a second bevel gear of the pair of bevel gears. When the first slider gear is engaged with the first bevel gear, the first bevel gear becomes operatively connected to a rotatable tine shaft to rotate tines in a first direction. When the first slider gear is engaged with the second bevel gear, the second bevel gear becomes operatively connected to the rotatable tine shaft to rotate the tines in a second direction opposite the first direction.
