NON-PNEUMATIC WHEEL HAVING A MOLDABLE REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE SPOKE AND A PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME
The present invention is directed to a moldable reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane and a non-pneumatic wheel made therefrom, a process for preparing the same and an non-pneumatic wheel obtained therefrom which exhibits a high modulus, low creep, and high fatigue life.
VEHICLE WHEEL RIM
A vehicle wheel rim is printed with a metal alloy by a three-dimensional printing method. The rim includes a substantially circular rolling strip defined by a front edge and a rear edge. The rolling strip includes a central rim base, a front part including fittings for a front tire support, located between the rim base and the front edge, and a rear part including fittings for a rear tire support, located between the rim base and the rear edge. The rim is designed to be mounted on a vehicle such that the front edge is located on an outer side of the vehicle and the rear edge is located on an inner side of the vehicle. The rolling strip includes a plurality of cavities in the thickness thereof and in a radial section.
Fabricated Vehicle Wheel with Wheel Disc Having Lightener Pockets
A fabricated vehicle wheel comprises a wheel disc and a wheel rim. The wheel disc has an annular hub portion, a center hub hole in the hub portion, opposite inboard and outboard faces of the hub portion, a plurality of circumferentially spaced lug bolt holes in the hub portion, a plurality of lightener pockets in the hub portion, and an extension portion. The lug bolt holes and the lightener pockets alternate around a circumference of the hub portion. An axis extends through the hub hole. The inboard face is planar and configured to mount to a vehicle. The inboard face is perpendicular to the axis and the extension portion extends from the hub portion along the axis. The wheel rim is secured to the extension portion.
Disc wheel with internal bracing
A bicycle disc wheel comprises a first disc panel and a second disc panel. The first disc panel has a first side outer surface and a first side inner surface and the second disc panel has a second side outer surface and a second side inner surface. The first side outer surface radially extends from a first disc panel outer perimeter to a center opening and the second side outer surface radially extends from a second disc panel outer perimeter to the center opening. The second side inner surface faces the first side inner surface. A brace is coupled to the first side inner surface and the second side inner surface that provide radial and axial structural support to the disc panels.
Constant velocity joint assembly integrated with wheel hub unit
A constant velocity joint assembly integrated with a wheel hub device may include an internal race coupled to an end portion of a driveshaft, a plurality of joint balls held in the internal race, and a hub housing accommodating and coupling the internal race holding the joint balls therein, with a bearing coupled to an external circumferential surface thereof, the hub housing provided as an external race of a constant velocity joint and the wheel hub device.
VEHICLE WHEEL AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING A VEHICLE WHEEL
A vehicle wheel for mounting at least two tires, an assembly comprising the vehicle wheel, methods of making the vehicle wheel, and methods of using the vehicle wheel. The vehicle wheel comprises a generally cylindrical first region, a generally cylindrical second region, a third region, and a fourth region. The first region comprises a first tire mount disposed about a circumference of an outer surface of the first region. The second region comprises a second tire mount disposed about a circumference of an outer surface of the second region. The third region is disposed intermediate and connecting the first region and the second region. The fourth region is integral with and extends radially inward from an inner surface of the third region. The fourth region is configured to mount to a vehicle axle. The first, second, third, and fourth regions are regions of a monolithic body.
FASTENERS FOR WHEEL AND BRAKE ASSEMBLIES
A tie bolt is disclosed. In various embodiments, the tie bolt includes a shank having a first end and a second end; and a counterbore disposed at the second end of the shank, opposite the first end, the counterbore having a counterbore depth and a counterbore diameter.
Manufacturing Methods for Wheel Rim, Spoke and Steel Wheel and Steel Wheel Formed by Methods
Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide manufacturing methods for a wheel rim, a spoke and a steel wheel and a steel wheel formed by the methods. The methods includes that: a wheel rim/a spoke blank is heated in a heating furnace, and the heated wheel rim/the heated spoke blank is transferred onto a hot press. A temperature of the wheel rim/the spoke blank being required to be kept above a required temperature in a process of transferring the heated wheel rim/the heated spoke blank to the hot press. Then the wheel rim/the spoke blank is formed in the hot press. A formed wheel rim and a formed spoke are connected to product a steel wheel.
LOW IMPACT TURF WHEEL
A low impact turf wheel for significantly reducing the adverse effects of frequent travel over turf by a lawn mower includes a wheel rim having an inner and outer surface, a hub arranged within the wheel rim, wherein the hub includes a central portion for mounting the turf wheel, and a plurality of spaced apart stems extending perpendicularly outward from the outer surface of the wheel rim. The stem includes a stem surface extending perpendicularly to the stem and a lug extending radially outward from the stem surface. The lug includes a lug face parallel to the stem surface, wherein the combination of the stem surface and lug face provide a ground contacting tread.
Wheel of a vehicle
A wheel of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, has a rim, a hub portion, and at least two spokes connecting the hub portion to the rim. At least one free space between the spokes is covered at least in part by a substantially planar covering element. The covering element is produced from two different material layers.
