MULTI-HUB WHEEL ASSEMBLY FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
Disclosed are wheel assemblies for motor vehicle powertrains, methods for making and methods for using wheel assemblies, and motor vehicles with wheel units each composed of a tire and a wheel assembly. For example, a multi-hub wheel assembly for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The motor vehicle includes a tire and a suspension component, such as a hub-and-bearing assembly, mounted to the vehicle body. The wheel assembly includes an outer wheel with an annular rim well attached to a central hub. The central hub mounts onto the vehicle's suspension component, e.g., via lugs and bolts, while the tire mounts onto the rim well. The wheel assembly also includes an intermediate hub with a deflection annular rim attached to a mounting base. The mounting base is attached to the outer wheel. The intermediate hub mounts inside a hollow core of the outer wheel, interposed between the central hub and the suspension component.
VEHICLE WHEEL
A vehicle wheel is provided which includes a sub air chamber member capable of suppressing a surface deformation amount in case of an action of an internal pressure of the sub air chamber member. A sub air chamber member of a vehicle wheel includes an upper surface member, a lower surface member, and bridge sections causing the upper surface member and the lower surface member to strike on each other. An end-to-end distance of an opening part of a bridge section opening on an upper surface of the upper surface member is set longer than a distance to an end portion of an opening part of another bridge section adjacent thereto. Moreover, the area of the opening parts of the bridge sections opening on the upper surface of the upper surface member is larger than the area of other general parts.
CARBON FIBER SPOKE
A carbon fiber spoke includes a carbon fiber stick having two opposite ends, wherein a first joint and a second joint are respectively mounted to the two opposite ends of the carbon fiber stick. The first joint and the second joint respectively includes a through hole longitudinally and centrally defined therein for allowing the carbon fiber stick extending therethrough. The two opposite ends of the carbon fiber stick are respectively formed with an enlarged portion and each through hole formed with an enlarged portion, wherein each enlarged portion is complementally received in the enlarged portion in the first joint/second joint to prevent the first joint and the second joint from being detached from the carbon fiber stick.
WHEEL FOR INDUSTRIAL VEHICLE
This disclosure concerns wheels for industrial vehicles, including scissor lift vehicles and aerial platform vehicles. More particularly, this disclosure concerns a wheel fabricated with a substantially cylindrical wheel rim and a front face surface which includes a center hub section that is inwardly offset from the front edge by an amount and at an angle providing flexibility to recover from incidences that can damage the wheel.
Rim, rim component and rim assembly for a bicycle wheel and methods of manufacture thereof
A rim assembly for a bicycle wheel, comprising a rim having generally opposing first and second wall sections configured for mounting a bicycle tire, each of said first and second wall sections comprising an outwardly facing recess and; a rim component located in each recess, wherein each rim component has a lower density than the rim, wherein the rim components do not form part of a braking section of the bicycle wheel.
DRIVE ASSEMBLY
A drive assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The drive assembly comprises a central hub having an axis of rotation; an in-wheel electrical machine comprising a stator and a rotor; and a rim assembly comprising an inward circumferential part and an outward circumferential part, said inward circumferential part and said outward circumferential part being disposed adjacent each other along said axis of rotation, each part comprising a rim section for carrying a respective tyre, wherein the rim assembly is coupled to the hub. The in-wheel electrical machine is arranged outwardly of, and coupled to, the hub. A vehicle comprising the drive assembly is also disclosed.
Wheel
The disclosure is directed to a wheel having a rim that is at least partially made from several layers of fiber-reinforced plastic, and a wheel center having multiple spokes extending from a wheel hub, which constitutes an axis of rotation, to the rim in a radial direction. According to the disclosure the rim comprises a rim well extending in transversal direction between an inboard flange and an outboard flange suitable to receive a tire to be mounted thereon. The wheel includes a circumferential collar that extends from the outboard flange radially inwards towards the axis of rotation and that has an outboard collar face that constitutes an aerodynamic surface.
Wheel with flexible wide-body spokes
A wheel with flexible spokes, including a rim and hub, and spokes between the rim and hub made of fibrous material that causes the spokes to be both lighter in weight and stronger than comparable steel spokes. The spokes are also flexible and resilient such that they can bend while retaining their integrity and strength.
INTEGRATED AXLE ASSEMBLY AND STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY
Provided discloses an integrated axle assembly and structural assembly. The integrated axle assembly comprises an axle tube assembly extending in a first direction; a front support arm extending circumferentially from the axle tube assembly in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction for attachment to the frame; a rear support arm extending circumferentially from the axle tube assembly in a third direction away from the second direction for mounting a resilient assembly; and a brake base plate extending in a peripheral direction from the circumference of the axle tube assembly; the axle tube assembly, front bracket arm, rear bracket arm and brake base plate are molded in one piece, which improves the assembly efficiency.
