Thermoplastic transparent resin composition for wheel rust cover and method for preparing the same
The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic transparent resin composition for a wheel rust cover. The thermoplastic transparent resin composition is excellent in transparency and impact strength and suitable for a vacuum compression thermal molding process. A thermoplastic transparent resin composition for a wheel rust cover includes 20 wt % to 60 wt % of a graft copolymer, 40 wt % to 70 wt % of a non-graft copolymer, and 3 wt % to 10 wt % of a processing aid, in which a total rubber content is 10 wt % to 25 wt %, a total methacrylic acid alkyl ester compound content is 34 wt % to 67 wt %, a total aromatic vinyl compound content is 16 wt % to 40 wt %, and a total vinyl cyan compound content is 0 wt % to 10 wt %.
TORQUE BAR RETENTION FOR WHEEL ASSEMBLIES
A wheel assembly includes a wheel portion comprises a web having an inboard surface. The web may define a torque bar retention slot that extends from the inboard surface of the web. The wheel assembly may also include a bushing disposed in the torque bar retention slot, wherein the bushing comprises an open end and a closed end. Still further, the wheel assembly may include a torque bar coupled to the wheel, and the torque bar may include a boss extending into the bushing through the open end of the bushing such that the boss of the torque bar is at least partially disposed within the torque bar retention slot of the wheel portion.
WHEEL SHIELD
A wheel shield includes a central disk having a central wheel hub opening surrounded by annularly spaced stud holes that correspond to a pattern presented by a vehicle. The central disk includes an outwardly open fastening surface such as a channel positioned around an outer diameter of the central disk. The wheel shield includes a radially-compressible ring such as radially extending filaments. The radially-compressible ring has an inner diameter attached in the outwardly open fastening surface of the central disk and sized to engagingly contact an inner diameter of a vehicle wheel rim to restrict movement of brake dust to an exposed outer surface of the vehicle wheel rim while still allowing for the movement of air for cooling.
FASTENER FOR FASTENING A WHEEL RIM TO A WHEEL HUB
A fastener is adapted to fasten a wheel rim to a wheel hub. The wheel rim has multiple hole-defining walls respectively defining multiple installation holes. The fastener includes a main body and a sleeve. The main body extends along a central axis thereof, is adapted to engage the wheel hub, and has an abutting portion corresponding in shape to a corresponding one of the installation holes and extending into the corresponding installation hole. The sleeve is sleeved and retained on the abutting portion, and has a contacting surface, which abuts against corresponding one of the installation holes.
Wheel Made of Fiber-Reinforced Composite Material and Provided with Galvanic Isolation
A wheel for a vehicle, in particular a motorcycle or a motor scooter includes a hub region which has at least some portions made of a fiber-reinforced plastic material. The hub region includes a recess in which an insert for connecting the wheel to a vehicle axle is placed. An isolation element which galvanically isolates the insert from the hub region is arranged between the hub region and the insert.
Wheel rim guard
A wheel rim guard includes a body having an obverse surface and reverse surface, the surfaces in mutually opposed orientation and having a thickness (t) intermediately disposed between the surfaces and with the surfaces mutually terminating at an outer circumferential periphery. The guard includes a first channel disposed within the reverse surface of the body, and a first flexible gasket disposed within the first channel. The guard also includes a handle disposed on the obverse surface of the body. A holder may be included that clips to the handle of the guard to position the guard for hands-free operation.
VEHICLE WHEEL ISOLATOR
An isolator for a wheel hub between a brake rotor and a wheel rim is described, and includes a disk-shaped annular device including an inner ring, an outer ring, a first face portion, a second face portion, a plurality of apertures, a plurality of drain surface portions, and a plurality of radially-oriented drain channels disposed on the first face portion. Each drain channel is recessed in the first face portion. Each drain surface portion is recessed in the first face portion and is fluidly coupled to one of the drain channels. Each of the drain surface portions includes a continuous surface that is recessed from the first face portion between a drainage curve, a respective drain channel, and an arc that is defined on the inner ring between a first point and the respective drain channel.
COATING FILM AND AUTOMOTIVE PART ON WHICH COATING FILM IS FORMED, AND CONSTANT VELOCITY UNIVERSAL JOINT
The invention provides a coating film having excellent adhesion, even without a chemical conversion film treatment being carried out as an undercoat treatment, and a metal automotive part having the coating film. A powder is deposited by powder-coating onto the surface of a metal automotive part that has been quenched after forging, and tempering of the metal automotive part and bake-hardening of the deposited powder are carried out simultaneously, thereby forming a skin film on the surface of the metal automotive part. The surface of the metal automotive part before the powder is powder-coated thereon is a work-hardened basis material surface that has been not subjected to a chemical conversion filming treatment.
Multi-piece rim structure for wheel
A multi-piece rim structure for a wheel includes a rim base 10, a bead seat ring 20 (ring member) and a lock ring 30. The bead seat ring 20 receives a load in a radial direction and an axial direction from a bead portion of a tire. An annular ridge 35 of the lock ring 30 can be received in an annular lock ring groove 15 of the rim base 10. A receiving groove 15a is formed in an inner surface of the lock ring groove 15 of the rim base 10. A sacrificial anticorrosion material 80 is embedded in the receiving groove 15a. The sacrificial anticorrosion material 80 includes metal such as zinc and aluminum that has a greater ionization tendency than iron that is a base material of the rim base 10 and the lock ring 30. Corrosion of the rim base 10 and the lock ring 30 can be suppressed by ionization of the sacrificial anticorrosion material 80.
