The peptidic compound comprises at least an aminoacid which is lysine, ornithine, diaminopropionic acid or diaminobutyric acid or a derivative of these aminoacids, on which a carboxylic acid is grafted via a peptidic bound on the nitrogen of the lateral chain, said carboxylic acid comprising a (poly)cycle or (poly)heterocycle. Preferably, the grafted carboxylic acid is an aminoacid or a derivative, in particular selected from, a proline, a hydroxyproline or pyroglutamic acid.

Such compositions may be used to treat skin conditions such as warts, condyloma accuminatum, molluscum contagiosum, acrochordons, seborrheic keratosis, or a combination thereof. Some embodiments also describe take home compositions, in office compositions, over-the-counter compositions, and kits for the use of such compositions.

Methods for enhancing the repair of damaged skin and the prevention of developing wounds in a subject having damaged skin comprises administering to a portion of damaged skin, a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a combination of a gingerol and a curcumin and a cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

A skin augmentation composition comprises a therapeutically effective amount of a combination of a gingerol and a curcumin and a cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Methods for enhancing the repair of damaged skin and the prevention of developing wounds in a subject having damaged skin comprises administering to a portion of damaged skin, a composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a combination of a gingerol and a curcumin and a cosmetically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

A thickened aqueous composition containing about 0.01% to about 10%, by weight, of an superabsorbent polymer, about 0.1% to about 20%, of a silicone elastomer; about 0.1% to about 20%, by weight, of a fatty alcohol; and from about 20% to about 98% of water.

Exemplary methods and systems can be provided for resurfacing of skin that include formation of a plurality of small holes, e.g., having widths greater than about 0.2 mm and less than about 0.7 mm or 0.5 mm, using a mechanical apparatus.
