Foam Formulations Containing at Least One Triterpenoid
The invention relates to a foam formulation comprising an emulsion, comprising an oil phase and an aqueous phase, wherein the emulsion comprises at least one triterpenoid. Further the invention relates to an emulsion comprising an oil phase and an aqueous phase, wherein the emulsion comprises at least one triterpenoid selected from the group consisting of betulin, betulinic acid, lupeol, erythrodiol, oleanolic acid, (C.sub.1-C.sub.6) alkyl esters of the aforementioned acids, or mixtures thereof, and wherein the oil phase comprises at least one membrane-forming substance forming a lamellar arranged membrane in the emulsion.
COSMETIC PRODUCT ENRICHED WITH BIOACTIVE COMPONENTS OF PROPOLIS WITH DIRECT EXTRACTION FROM BEESWAX SPRAYED WITH PROPOLIS TINCTURE AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION THEREOF
Cosmetic products with a high concentration of propolis bioactive components produced using a new method that achieves increased concentration of, beneficial for skin health, phenolic components. The increase in the concentration of bioactive components is achieved by incorporating a piece of beeswax of specific dimensions into the cosmetic product after having been sprayed with propolis tincture. In the cosmetic product the extraction of the bioactive components of the propolis (terpenes, phenolic components) takes place assisted by the surfactants of the cosmetic product.

METHOD OF PREPARING A COSMETIC COMPONENT
A method for preparing a cosmetic component is provided which includes applying a layer of a dry cosmetic ingredient between a pair of fibrous sheets obtained by electrospinning one or more polymeric materials at least one of which is capable of cold flow under pressure. Sufficient pressure is then applied to the layers of fibrous sheets to cause cold flow of at least some of the polymeric material such that at least parts of the fibrous sheets bond with each other and entrap the cosmetic ingredient in position between them and prevent it from migrating between the sheets during further processing or handling.

SKIN CLEANSING ARTICLE INCLUDING WATER-DISPERSIBLE AND/OR WATER-SOLUBLE CORE SUBSTRATE
A skin cleansing article configured to deliver cosmetics or dermal therapies to a user's skin and a method of making the same are provided. For example, the skin cleansing article includes a core substrate comprising a resin. The core substrate has a first region containing a first active cleansing formulation and a second region containing a second active cleansing formulation. The skin cleansing article is substantially dry or solid and is water-dispersible or water-soluble. When the water-soluble core substrate is contacted with water having a temperature greater than 10° C. for a period of time, the core substrate is dispersible or soluble according to Testing Method MSTM-205 to release the first active cleansing formulation and/or the second active cleansing formulation.
