Space-saving spare wheel assembly having ergonomic handles for use with a vehicle
A spare wheel assembly comprising a tire and a rim to which the tire is attached is disclosed. The rim includes a center mounting plate having a center bore, inner and outer opposed flanges, and a disk between the center bore and the flanges. The disk includes a pair of elongated, curved slots formed on opposite sides of the center bore. Each of the slots is an ergonomically-formed hand hold for receiving fingers of an operator's hand. The inner and outer opposed flanges of the rim define perimeters of the rim between which the tire is held. The curved slots are concentric with respect to the perimeter of the outer flange and with respect to the center bore. A centerline is formed radially through the assembly. The disk is positioned on one side of the centerline and the mounting plate is positioned on the other side of the centerline.
Emergency wheel
An attachment is provided for a vehicle wheel for enabling a driving operation with restricted tire functions. A system includes the attachment and a rim of a vehicle wheel.
Vehicle tire heater and cleaner system
A front tire heating and cleaning system for a vehicle includes a brake system configured to selectively apply hydraulic braking pressure against front wheels and rear wheels of the vehicle, and a controller in signal communication with the brake system. The controller is configured to, upon receipt of a request, initiate a controlled front tire heating mode where the brake system is controlled to selectively apply hydraulic braking pressure against the rear wheels and not the front wheels, and rotate the front wheels to increase tire temperature for improved front wheel traction during off-road maneuvers.
Steer axle high-temperature warning system
A high temperature warning system for a vehicle steer axle an air pressure supply, a normally-closed valve in fluid communication with pressure supply, a heat sensitive control capable of opening the normally-closed valve upon a predetermined temperature, the heat sensitive control mounted adjacent to the wheel end assembly in a heat exchange relationship therewith, and a warning system connected to the air pressure supply for actuation upon opening of the normally-closed valve.
Explosion-proof tire hub, explosion-proof tire, and moving tool
Disclosed are an explosion-proof tire hub, including a hub body and an explosion-proof convex retainer. The hub body includes bent portions configured to mount a vacuum tire, the hub body is provided with a central axis, the explosion-proof convex retainer is fixed on the hub body, the distance between an upper end of the explosion-proof convex retainer and the central axis is L1, the distance between an upper end of the bent portion and the central axis is L2, and L1 is greater than L2. In case of burst or instantaneous pressure loss, because the distance L1 between the upper end of the explosion-proof convex retainer and the central axis is greater than the distance L2 between the upper end of the bent portion and the central axis, the explosion-proof convex retainer reduces the distance between the whole hub and the ground during tire burst and improves safety performance.
A VEHICULAR LADDER
A vehicular ladder including a body comprising a first plastic and one or more first teeth arranged on the body, wherein the one or more first teeth include a second plastic that is different to the first plastic, and the body is moulded around portions of the one or more first teeth.
Traction assist device
A traction assist device for mobilizing vehicles stuck in surfaces such as snow and ice includes a panel that has a top face, which is coarse. The panel is flexible, such that the panel is manipulable from an extended configuration into a rolled configuration. A plurality of grasps is coupled to and extends transversely from a bottom face of the panel. The grasps are configured to penetrate into surfaces, such as snow and ice, when the panel is positioned on the surface and a tire of a vehicle is positioned on the top face of the panel. The grasps retain the panel in a fixed position. The top face of the panel is configured to grip the tire, such that traction is supplied of the vehicle.
MECHANICAL GUIDING SYSTEM
A system for guiding a part, including a through-hole, toward a desired position. The system includes a connector and a handle member. The connector is configured to be removably attached to the desired position. The connector is also configured to pass through the through-hole. The handle member has a distal portion connected to the connector. The distal portion is configured to pass through the through-hole. The handle member is configured to lift the part while the connector is attached to the desired position and a portion of the handle member is within the through-hole. The handle member is configured to allow the part to slide therealong and into the desired position while the part is lifted by the handle member. The connector is removable from the desired position after the part has been slid into the desired position.
ESCAPE DEVICE FOR SELF-RESCUE IN CASE OF AUTO TYRE BEING TRAPPED IN PIT
Disclosed is an escape device for self-rescue in the case of an auto tyre being trapped in a pit, comprising a central positioning device, at least one tyre claw and a jacking device. The central positioning device is positioned and mounted at a central position of spokes of a tyre. The tyre claw and the central positioning device are fitted to each other and are clamped onto the tyre. The jacking device and the tyre claw are fitted to each other. The jacking device is further provided with a jacking head in contact with the pit ground. The jacking head protrudes out of an external rim of the tyre. The escape device can carry out effective rescue for trapped tyres, is convenient and fast to assemble and disassemble, saves time and energy, improves driving safety, and reduces the occurrence of accidents.
PORTABLE ESCAPE DEVICE FOR SELF-RESCUE IN CASE OF AUTO TYRE BEING TRAPPED IN PIT
Disclosed is a portable escape device for self-rescue in the case of an auto tyre being trapped in a pit, comprising support posts, a clamping device fitted to the support posts, and a jacking device fitted to the clamping device. The support posts are fixedly mounted onto spokes. The clamping device clamps an auto tyre. The jacking device protrudes and extends out of a top face of a tyre portion. The portable escape device for self-rescue in the case of an auto tyre being trapped in a pit can release the trapped auto tyre and perform self-rescue fast and reliably, and is convenient to carry.
