TIRE SIDEWALL SUPPORT FOR RUNFLAT TIRE
A sidewall support and/or a bead apex that is manufactured from a rubber composition that is based upon a cross-linkable rubber composition comprising a rubber component selected from the group consisting of a polybutadiene and at least one of a natural rubber and a polyisoprene. Such rubber compositions may further include a carbon black and also include a sulfur curing agent and a peroxide curing agent.
Natural rubber compounds with silica and use with tires
A rubber composition including guayule rubber and 15 to 90 phr silica. The rubber can be cis-1,4 polyisoprene and include 15 to 90 phr silica and contain less than 20% of the proteins associated with Hevea rubber and further include at least a trace of resins present in other natural rubbers. The rubber can be cis-1,4 polyisoprene and further include between at least a trace and 3% by weight of resins present in guayule rubber. The rubber composition can further be comprised of a synthetic rubber and include between about 40-100 phr of guayule rubber, and silica. The silica can be hydrophobated.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
The present invention discloses a pneumatic tire.
The pneumatic tire includes a bead portion and a rim flange provided outside the bead portion. The rim flange is made of a rubber resistant to ozone and fatigue and a hardness reinforcing rubber portion is interposed between the rim flange and the bead portion. The pneumatic tire of the present invention avoids a change in the physical properties of the flange rubber, ozone cracks caused by ozone present in the air, and fatigue cracks caused by frequent flexion and extension to achieve improved handling stability and straight ahead ability.
Rubber composition and an article of manufacture comprising a rubber composition
In a first aspect of the present invention, a rubber composition is provided, comprising at least one rubber, at least one filler, at least one thermoplastic polymer, wherein the thermoplastic polymer is a poly alkylacrylate, and wherein the alkylacrylate comprises a polycyclic substituent at its single bonded oxygen atom. In another aspect of the invention, an article of manufacture such as a tire, a power transmission belt, a hose, a track, an air sleeve, and a conveyor belt is provided which comprises the rubber composition in accordance with the first aspect.
Rubber Composition and Pneumatic Tire
A rubber composition of the present technology includes: a diene rubber; silica; and a heterocyclic compound (the heterocyclic compound does not have a silicon atom) which includes a hydrocarbon group having from 3 to 30 carbons and at least one type of heterocycle selected from the group consisting of a piperazine ring, a morpholine ring and a thiomorpholine ring, and a content of the silica being from 50 to 200 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber and a content of the heterocyclic compound being from 0.5 to 20% by mass with respect to the content of the silica.
Tire for a heavy duty vehicle
A tire which is intended to bear heavy loads and the endurance of which is improved. The tire contains, in the bead region, at least one internal annular insert, the said insert having a rubber composition containing a polyisoprene elastomer, between 45 phr and 60 phr of a reinforcing filler containing from 43 to 55 phr of a reinforcing inorganic filler with a BET specific surface of between 155 and 185 m.sup.2/g, and a coupling agent for bonding the reinforcing inorganic filler to the elastomer.
Tyre comprising hydrothermally carbonized lignin
The invention relates to a pneumatic tire for a vehicle a method for manufacturing such tire, wherein the tire comprises a metal component, a textile component and a cured rubber based component bonded together by means of curing, and wherein the cured rubber based component comprises lignin that has been treated by hydrothermal carbonization. The invention further relates to use of lignin that has been treated by hydrothermal carbonization in a rubber based component of a pneumatic tire.
HIGH RIGIDITY COMPOUND FOR PNEUMATIC TYRES COMPRISING FUNCTIONALIZED LIGNIN
A rubber compound for making a pneumatic tyre structural component comprising a cross-linkable unsaturated-chain polymer base, a reinforcing filler, a thermosetting resin and a vulcanization system. The thermosetting resin comprises functionalized lignin with OR groups wherein R is an alkyne group with a number of carbon atoms of between (3) and (18).
FILLER FOR TIRES, RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRES, TIRE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING FILLER FOR TIRES, AND AGGREGATION INHIBITOR
In a filler for tires containing silica particles and an aggregation inhibitor inhibiting the aggregation of the silica particles, the aggregation inhibitor contains at least one kind selected from the group consisting of phosphate and derivative thereof, amino alcohol, cationic surfactant, water-soluble aminosilane, nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound, nonionic surfactant, tertiary amine compound, polyvinyl alcohol, non-zinc soap, saturated fatty acid ester, and glycerine fatty acid ester.
RUBBER COMPOSITION COMPRISING A SPECIFIC REINFORCING FILLER
A rubber composition has an improved rolling resistance and is based on at least a diene elastomer comprising mainly at least one isoprene elastomer; a reinforcing filler comprising from 5 to 60 phr of carbon black having a BET specific surface area of less than 70 m.sup.2/g, termed coarse carbon black, and from 10 to 30 phr of carbon black having a BET specific surface area of greater than or equal to 70 m.sup.2/g, termed fine carbon black; a salt of an alkali, alkaline-earth or lanthanide metal; and a crosslinking system.
