AIRLESS TIRE

An airless tire has a tread ring provided with a reinforcing rubber layer disposed radially inside a tread rubber layer and made of a rubber compound [A] comprising: 100 parts by mass of the rubber component containing 10 to 100% by mass of butadiene rubber; 10 to 80 parts by mass of an metal salt of an alpha beta unsaturated carboxylic acid; and a peroxide. A barrier layer, which restrains sulfur in an adjacent rubber compound from migrating into the reinforcing rubber layer, is disposed between the reinforcing rubber layer and the adjacent rubber compound.

A non-pneumatic tire includes an inner ring having an axis of rotation and an outer ring having a plurality of circumferential reinforcements. The non-pneumatic tire further includes support structure extending from the inner ring to the outer ring. The non-pneumatic tire also includes a circumferential tread extending about the outer ring. The circumferential tread includes a tread reinforcement layer spaced from a bottom of the circumferential tread.

TIRE HAVING A MODULAR TREAD

A modular non-pneumatic tire includes a first annular tire module and a second annular tire module coaxial with the first annular tire module. The first annular tire module includes a first inner ring, a first outer ring coaxial with the first inner ring, first support structure extending between the first inner ring and the first outer ring, and a first circumferential tread extending about the first outer ring. The second annular tire module includes a second inner ring, a second outer ring coaxial with the second inner ring, second support structure extending between the second inner ring and the second outer ring, and a second circumferential tread extending about the second outer ring. The first and second circumferential treads are asymmetrical. The first circumferential tread has a first orientation and the second circumferential tread has a second orientation that is different from the first orientation.

Airless Wheel

An airless wheel that includes a hub of a constant diameter and having a shaft fitting hole, and an elastic wheel main body fixed to the periphery of the hub, and having a large number of integrated shock-absorbing spokes which pass and attenuate impact energy transmitted from a road surface during travel. In the airless wheel, the surface contacting the ground is capable of sufficient elastic deformation, and because a large number of shock-absorbing spokes are provided, the shock-absorbing action is made two-fold, making shocking-absorbing performance that much more favorable.

OMNIDIRECTIONAL WHEEL AND MOVABLE DEVICE

An omnidirectional wheel includes a hub, a number of wheels, and a number of rubber covers. The hub defines a shaft hole passing through the hub. Each of the wheels is rotationally mounted on the hub and spaced around the shaft hole. Each of the rubber covers is sleeved on a corresponding one of the wheels and includes a three-dimensional pattern. The rubber covers prevent the hub from directly contacting the ground.

Solid Tire Assembly
20210379930 · 2021-12-09 ·

A solid tire assembly for eliminating flat tires on a vehicle includes a tire that is defined by a plurality of concentric rings. Each of the concentric rings is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to facilitate the tire to perform similar to an inflated tire. Each of the concentric rings is comprised of a plurality of bands. Moreover, intersections between each of the bands of each of the concentric rings are staggered with respect to each of the concentric rings to enhance structural integrity of the tire.

A non-pneumatic tire includes: an outer annular portion; an inner annular portion; and a plurality of link parts. The plurality of link parts include first and second link parts. The first link parts each extend from one side in a tire width direction of the outer annular portion toward one other side in the tire width direction of the inner annular portion. The second link parts each extend from the other side in the tire width direction of the outer annular portion toward the one side in the tire width direction of the inner annular portion. The plurality of link parts each have a thickness which is smaller in the vicinity of the inner annular portion than in the vicinity of the outer annular portion and a width which is larger in the vicinity of the inner annular portion than in the vicinity of the outer annular portion.

A non-pneumatic tire includes: an outer annular portion having an outer periphery including a tread provided thereon; an inner annular portion provided inside the outer annular portion; and a plurality of link parts that each connect the outer annular portion and the inner annular portion, and are provided along a tire circumferential direction. The tread includes a cap rubber disposed on an outermost side in a tire radial direction, a first base rubber disposed more inwards in the tire radial direction than the cap rubber, and a second base rubber disposed more inwards in the tire radial direction than the first base rubber. When a rubber hardness of the first base rubber is defined as Gb1 and a rubber hardness of the second base rubber is defined as Gb2, Gb1<Gb2 is satisfied.
