Wheel assembly including arcuate inner and outer rim assemblies and related methods
A wheel assembly to be coupled to a hub of a vehicle, may include arcuate inner rim assemblies removably coupled together to define a circular inner rim to be coupled to the hub of the vehicle. Each arcuate inner rim assembly may include an arcuate inner rim segment, and an arcuate inner ring segment extending radially outward from the arcuate inner rim segment. The wheel assembly may also include arcuate outer rim assemblies removably coupled together to define a circular outer rim. Each arcuate outer rim assembly may include an arcuate outer rim segment, and an arcuate outer ring segment extending radially inward from the arcuate outer rim segment. The wheel assembly may also include gas springs operatively coupled between the circular inner rim and the circular outer rim to provide a gas suspension for relative movement therebetween.
NON-PNEUMATIC WHEEL HAVING NYLON SPOKE
A non-pneumatic wheel includes an outer band, a hub and a plurality of spokes formed from a polyamine material. Each of the plurality of spokes is displaced to create pretension in the radial direction under a design load and the displacement is equal to or greater than the predetermined deflection of the outer band. The plurality of spokes is made from a polyamide material having a conditioned tensile modulus between 600 MPa and 3000 MPa, an equilibrium moisture content of no more than 1.5%, and a fatigue failure resistance that can withstand at least 1 million cycles.
WHEEL FOR A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A wheel assembly includes a plurality of discreet, axially extending curved friction plates for engaging a first side of a spoke structure of a tire assembly, a first annular rim piece for engaging a rotatable axle, and a second annular rim piece for engaging the first rim piece. The first rim piece and the second rim piece each have axially extending lugs for engaging opposite ends of the friction plates.
Wheel assembly including disk defining a mechanical stop and related methods
A wheel assembly to be coupled to a hub of a vehicle may include an inner rim to be coupled to the hub of the vehicle, and an outer rim surrounding the hub. The wheel assembly may also include gas springs operatively coupled between the inner rim and the outer rim to provide a gas suspension for relative movement between the inner rim and the outer rim. The wheel assembly may also include a disk coupled to the inner rim and defining a closeable gap with adjacent interior portions of the outer rim to define a mechanical stop to limit relative movement of the inner rim and outer rim.
Supplemental tire tread for a solid tire
A supplemental tire tread for installation on an outer surface of a solid tire, the outer surface of the solid tire defining opposed sidewalls and a tread surface that extend between the sidewalls. The supplemental tire tread has a tread body having an outer tread surface, an inner surface, and an attachment for attaching the tread body around the tread surface of the tire. The inner surface of the tread body has tire supports with tire receiving receptacles that open away from the inner surface of the tread body and receive the solid tires when installed. The tread body has anchor receptacles that engage anchors that pierce the solid tires to support the tread body against relative rotation of the solid tire and the tread body.

Serviceable non-pneumatic tire and wheel assemblies
A tire and wheel assembly includes a non-pneumatic tire and a wheel. The non-pneumatic tire incudes a tread, an inner liner, and a plurality of spokes extending between and coupling the tread to the inner liner. The plurality of spokes have a first width and the inner liner has a second width greater than the first width such that a pair of inner liner flanges extend beyond the plurality of spokes in an axial direction. The wheel includes a rim and the inner liner is configured to be mounted on the rim with the pair of inner liner flanges fastened to the rim such that the non-pneumatic tire is serviceably mounted on the wheel.

WHEEL FOR A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A wheel assembly for a tire includes a circular hub member for securing to a rotatable axle of a vehicle, an annular first rim piece for engaging the tire, the first rim piece being secured to a first axial end of the circular hub member, an annular second rim piece for engaging the tire, the second rim piece being secured to an opposite second axial end of the circular hub member, a plurality of cylindrical bolts for engaging both the first rim piece and the second rim piece, the cylindrical bolts each engaging the first rim piece, the second rim piece, and a spoke structure of the tire; and a threaded tension bolt for varying a radial position of a first axial end of one of the cylindrical bolts relative to a first elongate opening of the first rim piece.
