A metal-resin composite member for tires, the metal-resin composite member comprising: a metal cord; and a resin layer, wherein: the resin layer is formed from a resin mixture that contains a polyester thermoplastic elastomer and an ester bond-containing amorphous resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 40 C. or higher, and a content ratio of the amorphous resin is not higher than 50% by mass of the resin mixture.

The present invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising: at least one phosphate salt chosen from sodium phosphate, potassium phosphate and mixtures of these phosphates; and at least one resin based on: at least one compound A1, compound A1 being chosen from a compound A11 comprising at least two functions, one of these functions being a hydroxymethyl function and the other being an aldehyde function or a hydroxymethyl function, or a compound A12 comprising at least one aldehyde function, or a mixture of a compound A11 and of a compound A12; and at least one phenol A21.
METAL OR METALLIZED REINFORCEMENT WITH POLYBENZOXAZINE-COATED SURFACE
A metal or metallized reinforcer, at least the surface of which is at least partially metallic, comprises at least a metallic part coated with a polybenzoxazine, the repeat units of which comprise at least one unit corresponding to the formulae (I) or (II):

Such a reinforcement can be used for the reinforcement of a rubber article, in particular a motor vehicle tire.

Metallic or metallized, graphenized reinforcement
A threadlike metallic or metallized reinforcer, for example a thread, film, tape or cord made of carbon steel, at the periphery of which is positioned a layer of metal referred to as surface metal chosen from copper, nickel and copper/nickel alloys, is characterized in that this surface metal layer is itself coated, at least in part, with at least one layer of graphene; preferably, there is grafted, to this graphene, at least one functional group which can crosslink to a polymer matrix. This reinforcer of the invention is effectively protected from corrosion by virtue of the graphene present at the surface; advantageously, it can be adhesively bonded directly, without adhesion primer or addition of metal salt, to an unsaturated rubber matrix, such as natural rubber, by virtue of the possible functionalization of this graphene.
RESIN-METAL COMPOSITE MEMBER FOR TIRE, AND TIRE
A resin-metal composite member for a tire, the member including: a metal member; an adhesive layer; and a covering resin layer in this order, wherein: the adhesive layer includes a continuous phase containing a polyester-based thermoplastic elastomer having a polar functional group, and a discontinuous phase containing a styrene-based elastomer, and a ratio of the continuous phase with respect to an entirety of the adhesive layer is from 60% by mass to 93% by mass.
RUBBER COMPOSITION, AND PNEUMATIC TIRE
A rubber composition is disclosed which includes an inorganic compound, the inorganic compound being an aluminum silicate represented by general formula (1): xAl.sub.2O.sub.3.ySiO.sub.2.zH.sub.2O in which x and y are each independently an integer, y/x5, and z is a positive number; and an amount of the inorganic compound being less than 15 parts by weight for 100 parts by weight of a rubber component in the rubber composition. The rubber composition of the invention can give a vulcanized rubber which can restrain an odor peculiar to tires (i.e., which has a low odor property).
SULFURIZED POLYBENZOXAZINE THAT CAN BE USED FOR COATING METAL AND FOR THE BONDING OF SAME TO RUBBER
A polybenzoxazine sulfide has repeating units including at least one unit corresponding to formula (I) or (II):

in which the two oxazine rings are connected together via a central aromatic group, the benzene ring of which bears one, two, three or four groups of formula S.sub.xR in which x is an integer from 1 to 8 and R represents hydrogen or a hydrocarbon-based group including 1 to 10 carbon atoms and optionally a heteroatom chosen from O, S, N and P. Such a polybenzoxazine can be used as an adhesive layer on metal, in particular for the adhesive bonding of a metallic substrate, in particular made of carbon steel, to rubber.
HEAVY LOAD TIRE
A W3 of a third belt of a belt layer arranged between a carcass and a tread portion is 65% to 85% of a tire maximum width Wm and a W4 of a fourth belt is 55% to 75% of the tire maximum width Wm. A metal cord adopted in a metal cord-rubber composite forming each of the third belt and the fourth belt is formed such that N atoms in a surface thereof is set in a range between 2 atom % and 60 atom % of and a Cu/Zn ratio in the surface is set in a range between 1 and 4. A rubber composition that coats the metal cord includes 1 part by mass to 15 parts by mass of silica and 0 parts by mass to 1 part by mass of cobalt-containing compound based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component.
HOOPING REINFORCEMENT FOR A TIRE OF A HEAVY DUTY CIVIL ENGINEERING VEHICLE
The manufacturing cost of a hoop reinforcement of a tire for a heavy vehicle of construction plant type is reduced. The crown reinforcement (3) of the tire (1), radially on the inside of a tread (2), comprises a protective reinforcement (6), a working reinforcement (5) and a hoop reinforcement (7). The hoop reinforcement (7) is made up of at least two hooping layers (71, 72), each hooping layer (71, 72) comprising metallic reinforcers that are coated in an elastomeric coating material and form an angle at most equal to 2.5 with the circumferential direction (XX). Each hooping layer (71, 72) is formed by a circumferential winding in a ring, in the circumferential direction (XX), of at least one portion of a ply of metallic reinforcers (81, 82), extending from an initial end (811, 821) to a final end (812, 822), such that the hooping layer (71, 72) comprises at least one discontinuity (91, 92).
