Evacuation Slide with Markings and Lighting for Egress from an Aircraft
An evacuation slide to provide an egress path from an exit of an aircraft. The evacuation slide includes one or more slide lanes. One or more jump targets and indicators are positioned along each of the slide lanes to visually inform persons how to enter a ramp of the slide. Lights illuminate one or more sections of the slide to further provide visual guidance on how to enter the ramp.
Chute and Method
The invention relates to a chute (10) for safely transporting a person from a height, for example from a highrise building (33—see FIG. 3). The chute comprises a flexible cylindrical inner tube (20) for accommodating a person (36); a plurality of circumferential sleeves (21) arranged axially along the inner tube (20); and a plurality of elastically deformable bands (27) accommodated in the sleeves (21). The sleeves (21) are distributed such that a plurality of the bands (27) are configured to extend circumferentially around a person (36) within the inner tube (20) during use, to thereby allow safe descent from a height.

Offshore Facility Evacuation Systems
An offshore facility evacuation system that includes a submerged-floating pod (SFP) unit adapted to be positioned in a body of water adjacent an offshore facility, and a SFP station of the offshore facility adapted to launch the SFP unit from the facility. The SFP unit including a SFP controller, an SFP escape line to extend between the SFP station and the SFP unit to provide a path for moving persons from the SFP station to the SFP unit while the SFP unit is floating in the body of water, a SFP landing base including an inflatable platform to provide a landing area for persons, a SFP depth control system to regulate submergence of the SFP unit, a SFP location control system to control a location of the SFP unit, and a SFP communication system to provide communication with the SFP unit, and personal evacuation devices (PEDs).

Integrated Truss Restraint
A system may include an inflatable slide having a head end, a toe end, a bottom side, and a top side. The system may further include a truss strap attached to the bottom side of the inflatable slide near the toe end and the head end. The truss strap may extend longitudinally from the toe end to the head end when the inflatable slide is deployed. The truss strap may be configured to structurally support the inflatable slide. The truss strap may include an integrated yoke strap attached to the truss strap. The integrated yoke strap may be configured to control unfurling of the inflatable slide during deployment of the inflatable slide.
ASPIRATOR AIR VENT VALVE
An aspirator air vent valve may include an air vent valve body coupled with an aspirator body and a pipe fitting. The air vent valve body may include an air vent valve air channel defined by an inner wall of the air vent valve body and disposed between the aspirator body and the pipe fitting. The aspirator air vent valve may further include a vent passage defined by a first vent wall and a second vent wall and disposed between an outer wall and the inner wall of the air vent valve body, wherein the vent passage is in fluid communication with the air vent valve air channel. The aspirator air vent valve may further include a plunger coupled with the air vent valve body.

Escape system
An escape system comprises a slide for facilitating evacuation of from a structure to water, wherein the slide comprises at least one helical inflatable path. The or each helical inflatable path may be configured to extend generally vertically between the structure and the water. The slide may comprise a plurality of helical inflatable paths. The slide may comprise spacing means for controlling the pitch between helix turns of the or each of the helical inflatable paths. A bowsing arrangement for the slide is also disclosed.
