Tire comprising fabric strips
The present invention relates to a tire including a fabric strip, and the tire includes a fabric strip in a belt layer, the fabric strip including a plurality of warps arranged in parallel to one another and wefts arranged to weave the warps. The tire according to the invention is advantageous in that the production process is simplified, the production cost required during the production process is lowered, the weight of the tire is reduced, and the fuel efficiency is increased when a car using the tire of the invention is driven, by reducing the resistance to rolling.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire has a tread reinforcing layer comprising a net structure formed from a tape of rubber coated reinforcing cord(s). The net structure comprises first oblique segments and second oblique segments of the tape which intersect with each other, forming interspaces therebetween. The first oblique segment has a first axial outer part in which the angle of the tape with respect to the tire circumferential direction decreases toward one end in the tire axial direction of the net structure. The second oblique segment has a second axial outer part in which the angle of the tape with respect to the tire circumferential direction decreases toward the above-said one end of the net structure. The first axial outside part is connected to the second axial outside part directly or through a circumferential segment of the tape.
Non-pneumatic tire and other annular devices
A non-pneumatic tire for a vehicle or other machine. The non-pneumatic tire may include an annular beam. The annular beam may include a plurality of layers of different elastomeric materials. The annular beam may be free of a substantially inextensible reinforcing layer running in a circumferential direction of the non-pneumatic tire. The annular beam may include a plurality of openings distributed in the circumferential direction of the non-pneumatic tire. Such an annular beam may be part of other annular devices.
EPOXY-FUNCTIONALIZED NOVOLAK RESIN COMPOSITION
The invention pertains to a composition of epoxide-functionalized resins, comprising at least a first epoxide-functionalized novolac resin, a second epoxide-functionalized novolac resin, and a curing agent selected from phenolic or amine-type curing agents, the average molar mass of the group consisting of the entirety of the epoxidized novolac resins in the said composition being between 550 and 650 g/mol, the average epoxide functionality of the said group being between 3 and 3.5 eq epoxide/mol, and the said composition having a glass transition temperature T.sub.g of at least 160 C.
Pneumatic tire
Provided is a pneumatic tire with an annular-shaped tread portion extending in a tire circumferential direction, a pair of sidewall portions disposed on both sides of the tread portion, and a pair of bead portions disposed inward of these sidewall portions in a tire radial direction. This pneumatic tire is also provided with a reinforcing member which includes a plurality of reinforcing cords oriented in at least three directions, and has a mesh-like structure with at least three of the reinforcing cords oriented in different directions joined together at at least a portion of intersecting locations of the reinforcing cords.
Protective crown reinforcement for aeroplane tire
Protective reinforcement (3) for a tire has a mean radial thickness T at least equal to two times the diameter D of a-12-einforce (4), comprises respectively on its radially interior face (31) and on its radially exterior face (32) parts (7) made of elastomeric compound having an axial width W at least equal to the diameter D of a-12-reinforcer (4), and the path of any-12-reinforce (4), in the circumferential direction (XX), varies radially between the radially interior first face (31) and the radially exterior second face (32), in such a way that the set of paths of the reinforcers (4) of the protective reinforcement (3) constitutes a three-dimensional lattice. Furthermore, the path of any-12-reinforce (4), in the circumferential direction (XX), is a zigzag curve extending axially over the entire axial width L of the protective reinforcement (3).
Pneumatic tire for two-wheeled automotive vehicle
A band 12 includes a center portion C, a pair of intermediate portions M, and a pair of outer end portions E. The center portion C is formed from a first band member 40 and that extends in a circumferential direction. Each intermediate portion M is formed from a second band member 42 and that extends so as to form a mesh-like shape. The second band member 42 includes a plurality of first tilt portions 44 extending so as to be tilted relative to the circumferential direction and a plurality of second tilt portions 46 extending so as to be tilted relative to the circumferential direction in a direction opposite to a direction in which the first tilt portions 44 are tilted. Each outer end portion E is formed from a third band member 54 and that extends in the circumferential direction.
WHEEL COMPRISING A NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
A wheel for a vehicle (e.g., an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), a construction vehicle, etc.) or other device, in which the wheel comprises a non-pneumatic tire and may be designed to enhance its use and performance and/or use and performance of the vehicle or other device, including, for example, to improve a shock-absorbing capability of the wheel, to improve a lateral stability of the vehicle or other device, and/or to enhance other aspects of its use and performance and/or that of the vehicle or other device.
TRACK SYSTEM FOR TRACTION OF A VEHICLE
A track system for traction of a vehicle (e.g., an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), an agricultural vehicle, etc.) may be designed (e.g., may comprise non-pneumatic tires) to enhance its use or performance and/or that of the vehicle such as, for example, by being lightweight and/or by better handling loads, including, for instance, those resulting from track tension within the track system and/or from unevenness or other aspects of the ground, including encounters (e.g., impacts) with obstacles on the ground (e.g., rocks, portions of trees, debris, bumps, abrupt changes in ground level, etc.). The track system may comprise tension-based non-pneumatic tires.
Pneumatic vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tire has at least a tread with an outer tread cap with a profiled tread surface, an inner tread base and at least one electrically conductive conductivity strip. The conductivity strip extends in a radial direction from the tread base, through the tread cap, to the tread surface. The tire further includes an electrically non-conductive belt bandage arranged under the tread base and the belt bandage has a multiplicity of gaps, a multi-ply belt, a carcass and side walls. The gaps in the belt bandage are filled with an electrically conductive material.
