GLASS BREAKER AND SECURITY ALERT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF APPLICATION THEREOF
An apparatus that is integrated into a mobile phone case that can assist in breaking a glass window of a locked vehicle to aid an occupant exit the vehicle in an emergency situation and send an alert to the appropriate authorities to inform them of the emergency situation.
Battering ram
A breach apparatus is provided for breaching a closure or other obstacle. The breach apparatus includes a body forming a cavity, an end cap attached adjacent a first end of the body and a manifold attached adjacent a second end of the body and in fluid communication with the cavity, a ram assembly including a ram head attached to a first end of a battering shaft, a battering piston attached to a second end of the battering shaft within the cavity of the body, a mass piston movable within the cavity of the body between the manifold and the battering piston, a trigger mechanism in communication with the manifold, and a supply tank in fluid communication with the manifold.
WEDGE DEVICES HAVING TEXTURED SURFACE CONTOURS
Wedge devices are provided which can be utilized for various applications including, for example, maintaining a purchase between a door and door jamb when performing a forcible door entry procedure. For example, a wedge device includes a wedge body having a tapered profile defined by a first surface and a second surface of the wedge body, and a handle coupled to a back-side of the wedge body. The first surface comprises a textured surface contour. The second surface may comprise a textured surface contour similar to the first surface, or a smooth contour. The textured surface contour(s) of the wedge body prevents backward slippage of the wedge device when in use, and the handle of the wedge device facilitates manipulation of the wedge device using one hand of an individual.
Collapsible breaching tool
A collapsible breaching tool comprising a tool head; a handle hold connected to the tool head and having outer thread; a first handle tube having a first end, a second end, and defining a first handle tube volume; a second handle tube having a length, the second handle tube moveable between a first position in which most of the length is outside the first handle tube volume and a second position in which most of the length is within the first handle tube volume; an insert connected to the second handle tube, the insert having an inner thread engageable with the outer thread of the handle hold.
VEHICLE WINDOW-BREAKING APPARATUS
An apparatus includes a door frame, a carriage movable along a path relative to the door frame, a window, a bolt fixing the window to the carriage, a housing fixed to the window by the bolt, a striker mounted in the housing, and a pyrotechnic charge positioned to drive the striker into the window.
System for Self-escape from a Safety Harness Having a Plurality of Mounted Web Cutters and Glass Break Tools
A system for self-extrication from a safety harness by the wearer, or during rescue of the wearer, in the event of an emergency including one or more combination cutter and glass break tools mounted onto and around selected portions of the safety harness at predetermined positions for use in cutting the webbing straps of the safety harness in the event of the inoperability of any safety harness release resulting in the severing of the harness at said position and further resulting in the combination tool being freed for use in breaking glass out of a window of a vehicle.
Impact Tools
Impact tools are described herein. An example embodiment of an impact tool includes a core and a plurality of projections. The core is formed of a first material that has a first specific gravity and each projection is formed of a second material that has a second specific gravity. The plurality of projections is configured on the core such that at least two projections intersect a first hypothetical plane disposed on the first side of the core and at least two projections intersect a second hypothetical plane disposed on the second side of the core and that is opposably facing the first side. Each of the first and second hypothetical planes is disposed a distance from the central lengthwise axis of the core that is greater than the radius of the core and less than the sum of the radius of the core and the length of a projection.
Multi function hand tool in a unitary device
A survival rescue multi-tool device is provided in a single planer body constructed and arranged to have incorporated therewith multiple hand tool configurations and an overall curved ergonomic formation.
