METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN INFLATABLE LIFTING CUSHION AND LIFTING CUSHION
20200139654 · 2020-05-07 · ·

A method for producing an inflatable lifting cushion includes providing a core with main surfaces in the form of a front side and a rear side and an outer peripheral region. A two-dimensional layer of vulcanizable material is applied on the front side and rear side of the core. A single-layer or multi-layer prefabricated two-dimensional fiber-reinforcing layer is drawn in the form of a tube, onto the arrangement including the core and two-dimensional layers of vulcanizable material located on the core so that the fiber-reinforcing layer, extending around the peripheral region, covers the two-dimensional layers of vulcanizable material at least partially. A further two-dimensional layer of vulcanizable material is applied to the fiber-reinforcing layer at the front side and the rear side of the core. The arrangement is heated to obtain a bond of the fibers of the fiber-reinforcing layer with the two-dimensional layers of the vulcanizable material.

Glass break apparatus

A glass break apparatus including an attachment mechanism comprising an attachment region configured to attach to an end of a light-emitting device and a receptacle coupled to the attachment region. The glass break apparatus also including an elongated glass punch retained at least partially within the receptacle, the glass punch having a first end and a second end, the glass punch configured to move between a retracted position within the interior of the receptacle and an extended position due to impact with a surface of glass, the first end of the glass punch extending beyond a plane of the attachment region while in the extended position.

Sheath with attachment system

A sheath attaches to MOLLE webbing using one large hook that secures underneath the top of MOLLE webbing and two or more hooks that attach over the bottom of MOLLE webbing.

Impact tools

An impact tool includes a core and a plurality of projections. The core is formed of a first material that has a first specific gravity and each projection is formed of a second material that has a second specific gravity. The plurality of projections is configured on the core such that at least two projections intersect a first hypothetical plane disposed on the first side of the core and at least two projections intersect a second hypothetical plane disposed on the second side of the core and that is opposably facing the first side. Each of the first and second hypothetical planes is disposed a distance from the central lengthwise axis of the core that is greater than the radius of the core and less than the sum of the radius of the core and the length of a projection.

CUTTING DEVICE
20200094332 · 2020-03-26 ·

A cutting device includes a cutting member (70) having a pair of cutting parts (71) and (73) rotatable around a common shaft (75) in a mutually approaching direction and/or in a mutually separating direction, and a driving unit that operates the cutting member (70) so that each of the cutting parts (71) and (73) rotates around the shaft (75) in the mutually approaching direction and/or in the mutually separating direction. Each of the cutting parts (71) and (73) of the cutting member 70 has an opposing blade part (72) and (74) respectively. The convex portions 72b and 74b have a shape such that convex portions (72b) and (74b) first contact the cylindrical rod when each of the cutting parts (71) and (73) rotates around the shaft (75) to move in the mutually approaching direction.

Hydraulic implement

A hydraulic implement (1) for portable use includes a hydraulic pump (2), a pump housing (10), a hydraulic cylinder (3) with a piston rod (11), a hydraulic tank (4), hydraulic lines, a compensating device, a manually operable hydraulic control valve (8), a rechargeable battery (9) which is accommodated on the implement (1), and two tool halves (16, 17) that are connected to the piston rod (11) via pivoting arms (12, 13). Each tool half (16, 17) has a wall section (20, 21) that extends perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (11). When the tool halves are closed, both wall sections (20, 21) together form a flattened end region (24) that runs perpendicularly to the extension of the longitudinal axis of the piston rod (11).

Pen structure with glass smasher
10569597 · 2020-02-25 ·

A pen structure with a glass smasher has the glass smasher mounted at the front end of a pen. When a user holds the pen and presses the front end (i.e., the smashing cone) of the smashing rod of the glass smasher forcibly against a glass obstacle, an impact block will strike the rear section of the smashing rod vigorously such that the smashing cone is instantly driven to smash the glass obstacle. A ballpoint/rollerball refill is detachably provided in the pen and is at least 6 cm long in order to contain enough ink. The overall length of the pen is at least 10 cm so that the pen can be easily held while the user writes or draws with the ballpoint/rollerball tip and while the user applies a force to a glass obstacle through the front end of the smashing rod to smash the glass obstacle.

POWER DOOR OPENER
20200030641 · 2020-01-30 · ·

A power door opener including an actuator having a housing with an electrically powered actuator shaft that can be extended from a closed to an extended position. In one embodiment, a movable push plate is affixed to the actuator shaft and a fixed push plate is fixed in its position with respect to the housing. In the closed position of the actuator shaft, the fixed and movable push plates are aligned to form a combined edge for insertion into the space between a door and door jamb. The actuator shaft extends to move the movable push plate apart from the fixed push plate to spread the space and release the door from the door jamb. Alternatively, a double ended power door opener is located between opposite door jambs and the extending of the actuator shaft forces the door jambs apart to release the door from the door jamb to force open the door.

EXTRICATION RESCUE TOOL

An extrication rescue tool, configured to open an extrication passage for extricating a victim in a plight, such as a car wreck or a collapsed building. The extrication rescue tool includes a extendable element, which is selectively extendable by a drive along an extension path and configured to forcibly maintain or enlarge an extrication passage to thereby allow extrication of the victim through the extrication passage. When the extendable element is extended an illuminator is oriented along the extension path of the extendable element to identify obstacles in the extension path.
