A door breach device can include: an elongate shaft having a first end and an opposite second end; a pivot mechanism at the first end of the shaft; a spearhead rotatably coupled with the pivot mechanism and having a tip on a tip-side of the pivot mechanism and having a shaft cavity on a shaft-side, where the shaft cavity is adapted to receive the shaft therein; a restraint slidably received on the shaft-side of the spearhead and on the shaft; a handle protruding from the shaft; and a hitch at the second end of the shaft. A method of breaching a door can include: forcing the spearhead through a door until the restraint releases the spearhead and the spearhead rotates by the pivot mechanism so as to form an angle with the shaft; and pulling the spearhead against the door until the door is breached.

A multi-purpose illumination, self-defense and glass-breaking tool, the tool comprising: a tool body; a handle projecting from the tool body; a flashlight carried by the tool body; a pepper spray unit carried by the tool body; and a glass breaker carried by the handle.

A sun visor assembly for a vehicle that includes a mount configured to be connected to the vehicle. A guide rod having a first portion that includes a head and a second portion with a terminal end is operably coupled to the mount via the head. An impact point is at the terminal end of the second portion. The guide rod and the impact point are configured for use as a window breaker tool in a disassembled position. A visor is operably coupled to the guide rod in an assembled position and is rotatable about the guide rod from a first position to a second position. The visor includes a channel defined within the visor that is configured to receive the guide rod.

A window breaker tool for use on a vehicle includes a body having a handle to enable a user to grip the tool, a glass breaker member extending from the handle configured to contact a glass window with force to break the glass window, and an accelerometer operatively coupled to the body to sense acceleration during impact and generate a signature signal. The tool also includes an RF signal communication device located on the tool for communicating with a plurality of RF signal communication devices on the vehicle to determine a location of the tool relative to the vehicle, wherein the RF signal communication device communicates with a controller for processing the signature signal and determining whether the signature signal is indicative of the tool in use to break a window, and wherein the controller further determines the tool is within the vehicle based on the location and outputs an alert signal.

Provided is an escape tool housing member to be wound around an assist grip of a vehicle, in which a main body is to be wound around a grip portion, and a housing portion housing an escape tool is arranged to abut against an inner side of the grip portion. By pinching and then pulling with fingers a left convex portion, a pull portion, a concave portion and a right convex portion that are positioned on a front surface side of the grip portion, a left inner fixation portion and a left outer fixation portion will be disconnected from each other, and a right inner fixation portion and a right outer fixation portion will be disconnected from each other as well, thereby allowing the escape tool housing member to be removed from the assist grip.

It is described herein an attachment for a hydraulic ram. The attachment comprises a base comprising a base first edge, a base second edge, a base first end, and a base second end defining a base horizontal plane. The base has a base top surface and a base bottom surface with a base wall spanning a distance between the base top surface and the base bottom surface. A portable electric rescue tool, such as spreader and cutter tool, that allows for manual or remote operation, and operates on a DC power source, which may be an external power source and/or an onboard rechargeable battery. For example, the tool includes a battery cradle or battery attachment portion adapted to removably receive a rechargeable battery pack and electrically couple the battery pack to the tool. The tool also includes a power adapter that is adapted to be removably coupled to the battery attachment portion instead of the battery pack, and allows the tool to be electrically connected to an external DC power source, such as a vehicle battery or other DC power source.
