A tire with a tread reinforcing layer that includes a ply reinforcing structure formed by winding a cord-embedded rubber tape circumferentially of the tire. The ply reinforcing structure includes first oblique segments and second oblique segments which intersect with each other to form a mesh structure having rhombic spaces. The circumferential lengths of the rhombic spaces are less than ⅔ times the maximum circumferential length of the ground contacting patch of the tire in its normally loaded state.

A first belt cord made of organic fibers of a spirally wound belt layer extends at an angle of equal to or less than 5° relative to a tire equatorial plane, a second belt cord made of organic fibers of a zigzag belt layer extends at an inclination of an angle of 2° to 45° relative to the tire equatorial plane, to folding back points where the second belt cord is folded back at each width directional end edge of the zigzag belt layer, and a relation of N.sub.95>N.sub.50 is satisfied. N.sub.50 is the number of stacked belt layers of the spirally wound belt layers, at 50% of half the length of a maximum belt width of belt layers from the tire equatorial plane. N.sub.95 is the number of stacked belt layers of the spirally wound belt layers, at 95% of half the length of the maximum belt.

A manufacturing apparatus of a rubber sheet containing a steel cord, including a feeding device which feeds the steel cord while keeping a specified tension; a forming device which winds the steel cord being fed by the feeding device around engagement parts spaced from each other with a predetermined width; and a placement device which places on a rubber sheet member, the steel cord wound around the engagement parts with the predetermined width. The forming device includes forming parts which press bent portions of the steel cord wound around the engagement parts to form a bending shape of the bent portions, and the placement device includes a plurality of retaining parts disposed in two rows spaced apart from each other with the predetermined width to retain the bent portions in a state in which the steel cord having the bending shape is placed on the rubber sheet member.

Tire reinforcement

A reinforcement structure for a polymer ply includes a plurality of flat woven cords. Each flat woven cord has a width between 0.5 mm and 1.6 mm and a thickness between 0.2 mm and 0.8 mm thereby producing the reinforcement structure with an overall width between 25.0 mm and 26.0 mm. Each flat woven cord includes materials with melting points between 130° C. and 230° C.

A pneumatic tire has a tread reinforcing layer comprising a net structure formed from a tape of rubber coated reinforcing cord(s). The net structure comprises first oblique segments and second oblique segments of the tape which intersect with each other, forming interspaces therebetween. The first oblique segment has a first axial outer part in which the angle of the tape with respect to the tire circumferential direction decreases toward one end in the tire axial direction of the net structure. The second oblique segment has a second axial outer part in which the angle of the tape with respect to the tire circumferential direction decreases toward the above-said one end of the net structure. The first axial outside part is connected to the second axial outside part directly or through a circumferential segment of the tape.

Inflatable tubeless tire

An inflatable tubeless tire includes a carcass, a bead at the lower edge of both sides of the carcass; a cladding layer, continuously covering the bead from the exterior to the interior of the carcass, and both ends of the cladding layer having an overlapped portion between each carcass and a tread and continuously extending to form an external covered portion for covering an area from the outer surface to the bead, and the portion of both sides of the cladding layer covering the interior of the carcass being an internal covered portion, and the uncovered position in the carcass being an elastic portion, and each inner surface in the carcass and the cladding layer jointly forming a gas chamber; at least a separator, partially disposed on a wall surface of the gas chamber for isolating each elastic portion and the inner surface without sticking to one another of the carcass; an air valve module, passing between each opening and the through hole, and having a film fixed to the elastic portion; and an extending part, passing through each film, the cladding layer and the separator; a screw, with an end screwed into the extending part; and the screw having an air valve part therein.
