The tread includes at least two three-layer body portions formed of the cap layer, the intermediate layer, and the base layer, and at least one two-layer body portion that is formed of the cap layer and the base layer and disposed between a first three-layer body portion and a second three-layer body portion.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE TYRE
The present invention relates to a tyre for vehicle wheels, in particular automobile wheels, characterised by a tread comprising at least one iso-styrene/trans-butadiene/terpene random terpolymer. Said tread is characterised by a greater tear resistance and a greater grip of the tyre to the roadbed.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire that specifies the tire mounting direction when mounted on a vehicle and has sufficiently improved grip performance at high-speed turning is provided in which the cap rubber layer on the outermost layer of the tread is divided in the tire width direction, the cap rubber layer located on the outside of the vehicle is formed of a rubber composition containing 25% by mass or less of styrene in the rubber component and having a glass transition temperature of −18° C. or higher, and, when the carbon black content ratio is C.sub.OUT (mass %), and the ground contact area ratio is L.sub.OUT, in the cap rubber layer located on the outside of the vehicle, and the carbon black content ratio is C.sub.IN (mass %) and the ground contact area ratio is L.sub.IN in the cap rubber layer located inside the vehicle, the following (Formula 1) and (Formula 2) are satisfied.
C.sub.IN<C.sub.OUT (Formula 1)
0≤(C.sub.OUT×L.sub.OUT)−(C.sub.IN×L.sub.IN) (Formula 2)
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion provided with a pair of crown main grooves and a pair shoulder main grooves to divide middle portions and shoulder portions, the tread portion having a contact surface covered with a cap rubber layer with a loss tangent of from 0.03 to 0.18, the middle portions provided with only middle lug grooves with groove widths within 2 mm, each middle lug groove extending from one end connected either the crown or shoulder main groove to the other end terminating within the middle portion, the middle lug grooves having an angle of from 40 to 55 degrees with respect to a tire circumferential direction, and each shoulder portion provided with first shoulder lateral grooves having axially inner ends connected to the shoulder main groove, wherein first shoulder lateral grooves consist of grooves having groove widths within 2 mm.
Pneumatic Tire
The pneumatic tire includes: a belt layer, a belt reinforcing layer, a tread portion, sidewall portions, a rim cushion rubber, and an electrically conductive rubber disposed in the rim cushion rubber and includes a first end in contact with a rim and exposed on an outer surface of the rim cushion rubber and a second end in contact with a tire component adjacent to the rim cushion rubber. The electrical resistance value of the electrically conductive rubber and a portion of the tread portion is 1×10.sup.6 Ω or less. The electrical resistance value of the tire component, a coating rubber of the belt layer, and a coating rubber of the belt reinforcing layer is from 1×10.sup.6 Ω to 1×10.sup.8 Ω. The electrical resistance value of the rim cushion rubber and a side rubber of the sidewall portions is 1×10.sup.8 Ω or greater.
Tire
In a tire, a tread includes a cap layer forming a part of the outer surface of the tire, an intermediate layer disposed inwardly of the cap layer in the radial direction, and a base layer disposed inwardly of the intermediate layer in the radial direction. A loss tangent of the intermediate layer at 30° C. is less than a loss tangent of the cap layer at 30° C., and a loss tangent of the base layer at 30° C. is less than the loss tangent of the intermediate layer at 30° C. An outer end of the cap layer is disposed outwardly of an outer end of the base layer in the axial direction. In the radial direction, a position of the outer end of the cap layer coincides with a position of the outer end of the base layer, or the outer end of the cap layer is disposed inwardly of the outer end of the base layer.
