A system may include a manifold. The manifold may include a body and a rupture disc. The body may include first connector connected to a pressurized source, a second connector, and a third connector. The body may include hollow pathway network including a first path portion extending from the pressurized source to a pathway junction, a second path portion extending from the pathway junction to the second connector, and a third path portion extending from the pathway junction to the third connector. The first path portion may include a bend. The rupture disc may be positioned between the bend and the pathway junction. When the rupture disc is in an unruptured state, the rupture disc may seal the first path portion from the other path portions. When the rupture disc is in a ruptured state, the rupture disc may allow a flow from the pressurized source to the third connector.

The device makes it possible to adjust the position of the mask holder both vertically and horizontally to adapt to the dimensions of the user via a plurality of toothed elements. The configuration allows the combination with any existing continuous ventilation equipment.

The emergency oxygen supply for passengers in an aircraft comprises an oxygen source with a number of pulse breathing masks which are conductively connected to the oxygen source, wherein an individual shut-off valve which in the non-actuated condition is switched to block is provided in each conduit to a breathing mask. The emergency oxygen supply moreover comprises an impulse breathing control for actuating each individual shut-off valve, as well as an auxiliary conduit which connects the oxygen source to the breathing masks whilst bypassing the individual shut-off valves and which in each case via a check valve is connected to the respective conduit which leads to the breathing mask, or to the breathing mask itself. The auxiliary conduit is connected to the oxygen source via a central shut-off valve which is switched to open in the non-actuated condition.

Apparatus for supplying oxygen to a vehicle user, comprising a source of pressurized respiratory gas containing oxygen-enriched air, a flow-regulating and/or pressure-regulating unit, and at least one mask provided for supplying gas to the respiratory tract of said user, the regulating unit comprising at least one inlet connected to the source and at least one outlet connected to the mask, the regulating unit being configured to regulate the flow and/or the pressure of the respiratory gas supplied to the mask according to the respiratory demand of the user, the apparatus comprising at least one sensor measuring the pressure and/or the flow of respiratory gas delivered by the regulating unit to the mask, and an electronic data storage and processing unit configured to receive the measurements from the at least one sensor and to calculate, from these measurements, the frequency of the gas flows supplied to the mask and corresponding to the respiratory frequency of the user, to compare this calculated frequency against a threshold frequency and, when this calculated frequency is greater than the threshold frequency, to generate an audible and/or visual and/or vibratory warning signal.

The device includes a helmet-like” rotating face cover assembly that fits over the user's head and attaches to a collar on the biohazard bodysuit. This rotating face cover assembly has a plurality of different mask sides, each with differing geometries or other properties. The device enables a user to rotate (either manually or by electric motor) the masks and select a given mask side that best meets that user's needs. The different mask sides can accommodate different facial geometries, eyewear types, and use cases, such as operation in more hostile environments. Features to improve user comfort, including alternate bodysuit designs, moisture reduction, and cooling are disclosed.
