Pneumatic tire
Provided is a pneumatic tire ensuring conductivity while being reduced in weight, and having good fuel efficiency and handling stability. The tire includes a sidewall and a carcass, the sidewall including a laminate of two or more rubber layers including an inner sidewall layer (1) located closest to the carcass, and an outer sidewall layer (2) constituting an outer surface of the tire; the layer (1) including a rubber composition for (1); the layer (2) including a rubber composition for (2); the carcass including a carcass cord topped with a rubber composition for a carcass cord topping (3); the sidewall having a thickness of 3.0 mm or less; the layer (1) having a thickness of 0.2-1.0 mm; the composition for (1) having a volume resistivity of 5.010.sup.7 .Math.cm or less; the compositions for (1) and for (2), and the compositions for (3) and for (1) satisfying specific relations.
Tire
Tire frame step portions 18 are formed to a tire frame member 17. The tire frame step portions 18 are formed further toward the tire equatorial plane side than tire axial direction end portions 30A of a tread member 30. Covering layers 24 are formed at the outside of the tire frame member 17 so as to span from bead portions to the tire frame step portions 18.
TIRE HAVING A SIDEWALL WITH MULTIPLE LAYERS
The present invention is directed to a tire comprising a tread, at least one carcass ply, a pair of bead portions, a pair of sidewalls, wherein each sidewall of the pair of sidewalls extends between the tread and a respective bead portion of the pair of bead portions. At least one sidewall of the pair of sidewalls comprises a first circumferential sidewall layer and a second circumferential sidewall layer extending along an axially inner side of the first sidewall layer, between the first sidewall layer and an adjacent carcass ply.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire of this disclosure, in the reference condition, thickness of a sidewall portion in a tire radial region between positions each spaced apart, from a tire maximum width position, by 15% of tire cross-sectional height to inner side and outer side in the tire radial direction is 1.0 to 4 mm thicker than thickness of the thinnest part of the sidewall portion.
Tire having optimized performance in terms of rolling resistance without impairing the industrial performance
The rolling resistance of a tire has been improved without degrading industrial performance. The sidewall (30) consists of two sub-layers. A first sub-layer (FE1) of thickness E1 and volume V1 provides the expected protection functions of a sidewall as the outer wall of the tire, and a second sub-layer of the sidewall (FE2) of thickness E2 and volume V2 is optimized at low hysteresis to improve rolling resistance. The ratio V1/(V1+V2) of the volumes of the two sub-layers (FE1, FE2) is less than or equal to 0.3. The elongation at break of the compound of FE1 is greater than or equal to 200% measured at a temperature of 100 C., and the viscoelastic loss of the compound of FE2, Tan()max, is less than or equal to 0.10.
Tyre for vehicle wheels
The present disclosure relates to a tyre comprising a carcass structure, a tread band, a pair of sidewalls and at least one colored decorative element having a thickness equal to or greater than 200 m applied by co-vulcanization on at least one side of the pair of sidewalls, wherein the pair of sidewalls comprises an elastomeric composition comprising (i) at least one diene elastomeric polymer, and (ii) an ozone protection system, and the at least one colored decorative element is made with a cross-linkable elastomeric composition comprising (i) 100 phr of elastomeric polymer comprising 30 phr to 70 phr of natural and/or synthetic isoprene rubber, and 30 phr to 70 phr of a rubber chosen from butyl rubber, halobutyl rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, and mixtures thereof, and (ii) 5 phr to 120 phr of at least one reinforcement filler.
TIRE HAVING A RADIAL CARCASS REINFORCEMENT
A tire having a radial carcass reinforcement comprises, between the reinforcing elements of the carcass reinforcement and the cavity of the tire, a rubber mixture comprising a composition based on: an isoprene elastomer; 40 to 70 phr of reinforcing fillers, including at least 10 phr of pyrolysis carbon black, preferably at least 30 phr of pyrolysis carbon black; and a crosslinking system.
