A pneumatic tire includes a run-flat reinforcing layer disposed on an inner side in a width direction of a carcass layer, and a second filler disposed between a turned back portion of the carcass layer and a rim cushion rubber. Additionally, a point on a tire outer circumferential surface is defined, the point is located at a position corresponding to 150% of a rim flange height from a measurement point of a rim diameter of a specified rim, a perpendicular line is defined, and the perpendicular line is drawn from the point to a tire inner circumferential surface. A rubber gauge (G1) of the run-flat reinforcing layer on the perpendicular line, and a rubber gauge (G2) of a region from the turned back portion of the carcass layer to a tire outer surface have the relationship 0<G1/G2≤0.65.

A wireless power reception system includes a power transmission device, a power reception device, a wheel with a rim, and a tire mounted on the rim. The tire includes a bead core and a bead filler, a tire width direction cross-sectional area S1 of the bead filler is one to eight times a tire width direction cross-sectional area S2 of the bead core, the power transmission device can transmit electric power with a frequency of 1000 kHz or less wirelessly, the power reception device is disposed farther inward in the tire radial direction than a tread portion of the tire, the power reception device receives the electric power wirelessly from the power transmission device in a state such that the power transmission device is located farther outward in the tire radial direction than the tire, and the tread portion of the tire is formed from a non-magnetic material.

Pneumatic tire

A pneumatic tire includes a pair of bead portions that are arranged at intervals wider than a regular rim width in a non-rim-assembled state. The bead portion includes a rim protector, a bead base, a bead heel, and a bead back surface. In the non-rim-assembled state, the bead back surface is formed with a recess that is recessed inward in the tire width direction. The bead back surface has a second curved portion constituting a deepest portion of the recess and a third curved portion extending inward in the tire width direction from the rim protector. When a height of the deepest portion is H2, a height H8 of a virtual intersection of a curve obtained by extending the second curved portion and a curve obtained by extending the third curved portion is larger than 1.5 times H10 and smaller than 3.0 times H10.

SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION FOR A TIRE

A bead portion of a tire includes: a bead portion including a core; a first filler arranged at the core; a carcass extending around the core and the first filler and radially inward adjacent an axially inner side of the core, the carcass further extending axially outward adjacent the core and radially outward adjacent the core; a second filler extending both axially and radially beyond the first filler, the second filler overlapping the first filler, an outermost end of the second filler being positioned radially outward from the first filler; a first chafer disposed at the second filler; a second chafer extended about the carcass; and a flipper extending radially inward from a position axially adjacent the first filler. The second filler is embedded at a convergence of the first chafer and a sidewall.

In a pneumatic tire, a two-dimensional code is provided on a surface of side rubber provided in a side portion. The two-dimensional code is formed of a dot pattern including two types of gray scale elements identifiably formed using surface irregularities. A two-dimensional code range in a tire radial direction in which the two-dimensional code is provided lies outward or inward of a bead filler rubber edge located outward of bead filler rubber in the tire radial direction.

The various embodiments relate to pneumatic tires including a changing radius of curvature along a body ply that defines a tapering point of a bead assembly. The tires further include a reinforcement band and a body ply with a turn-up end. Various embodiments further relate to a bead assembly that tapers to a width at about 20 mm to 30 mm from the bottom of the bead assembly, such that the ratio of the tapered width to the width of the bead assembly at the widest point of the bead bundle is from about 0.3 to about 0.5. The bead assembly includes a first and a second bead filler where the volume of the first bead filler is from about 32% to about 44% of the bead filler.
