PUNCTURE-PROOF STRUCTURE FOR TIRES
A puncture-proof structure for tires provides a spare tire body that can be installed to a tire rapidly and is applicable to various tire types by using fine tuning. The tire has its two top inner edges formed with circular hooked portions for engaging with the spare tire body made of serially connected combining blocks. When the tire gets punctured and damaged by a knife or a sharp article, the spare tire body allows the tire to keep work safely. Therein, the spare tire body is a C-shaped member composed of two C-shaped holding pieces. It can be engaged with the hooked portions of the tire rapidly and arm the tire with puncture-proof ability.
TIRE WITH PUNCTURE-PROOF SPARE TIRE STRUCTURE
A tire with puncture-proof spare tire structure is provided. The structure forms a spare tire assembly that can be assembled rapidly and adapted to various tire types by being finely tuned. A tire using the spare tire structure is puncture-proof such that when punctured by sharp articles or knifes, the tire can still work to make safe arrival at a nearby repair workshop. This saves a car driver who has a damaged tire from the trouble of shoving the car and from the danger of endangering his/her life, in turn ensuring the public traffic safety.
WHEEL AND TIRE ASSEMBLY
A wheel assembly is disclosed, the wheel assembly including a rigid wheel including a radially outer rim wall presenting a polygonal shape with a plurality of outermost vertices connecting a plurality of planar faces, and a flexible tire mounted on the outer rim wall. The tire is supported by the vertices of the rim wall and is separated from the rim faces by a space, portions of the tire located between the vertices being configured to flex inwardly when subject to ground engaging pressure.

RUN-FLAT DEVICE
A run-flat device is disclosed. The run-flat device comprises: a ring configured to be mounted against a wheel rim of a vehicle, the ring comprising a slot extending across its width and a radially outer boss; sectors each comprising a groove configured to cooperate with the boss, a first lateral edge having an angular extent defining that of the sector, and a second lateral edge having an angular extent less than that of the first edge, so that, with the sectors mounted on the ring, the second lateral edges define openings; an elastic band configured to be mounted around the sectors; and locking means, each configured to be inserted into one of the openings to hold the sectors together, and comprising a lateral flange extending from the second lateral edge.
RUNFLAT ASSEMBLY
A runflat assembly comprises a plurality of circumferentially extending section parts interconnectable together into an annular configuration to fit around a wheel, the runflat assembly including a connector member configured to interconnect two of the circumferentially extending section parts, the runflat assembly including a retraction mechanism operable to act on the connector member to selectively permit the two circumferentially extending section parts to be spaced apart from each other in a first configuration of the connector member and draw the two circumferentially extending section parts towards each other in a second configuration of the connector member, wherein the connector member is configured to be releasable from at least one of the two circumferentially extending section parts.
Puncture-proof and run-flat tire
The present invention provides a puncture-proof and run-flat tire with a spare tire that could be rapidly assembled and be adaptive to an tire body by finely adjusted and locked, thereby providing puncture-proof and run-flat function. The puncture-proof and run-flat tire includes an tire body having two protruding hooks on two inner edges on two sides of an inner ring of the tire body and a spare tire tightly engaged with one of the two protruding hooks of the tire body. Therefore, a vehicle could continue travelling safely if the tire body becomes flat due to damage caused by foreign objects. The spare tire includes a plurality of spare tire blocks assembled with an elastic ring, a first fine-adjustment wire, and a second fine-adjustment wire. Therefore, the spare tire could be rapidly mounted on the protruding hooks of the tire body to form the puncture-proof and run-flat tire.
