Mechanically Heated/Cooled Air System for Welding Helmet
A mechanical refrigeration and heating unit supplies filtered air that is heated or chilled as needed for one or more welding helmets. A portable or transportable cabinet or housing has an air inlet on which a cartridge air filter is mounted. The air passes through an evaporator coil into an evaporator plenum where an evaporator fan moves the air to an outlet that connects with a heater plenum that contains an electric heater module. An outlet of the heater if fitted with an outlet port to which an air hose may be connected. A compressor, condenser coil, receiver, and condenser fan are located in an equipment compartment in the housing. A control board in the unit allows the user to select heated or chilled air. A clogged-filter alarm provides visual and audio alarm signals when pressure in the evaporator plenum falls below a threshold.
Flow generator with patient reminder
A flow generator and humidifier construction is described, including a flow generator construction adapted to reduce noise output compared to known flow generators of comparable size. The flow generator includes a chassis forming first and second muffler volumes and a venturi-shaped connection portion, and a metal/polymer composite material blower enclosure which suppresses noise from the blower. The flow generator may be programmed to include a reminder system including a menu from which the user may request a reminder to take specific action, e.g., replace a component, call a physician, and/or enter patient data card, etc.
Air conditioned and ambient fresh air supply system for respirator users
A portable air conditioning and ambient fresh air supply system that provides ambient fresh or conditioned air to a user wearing a respirator. The apparatus comprises a cabinet having an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The lower chamber holds a refrigerant air conditioning system and the upper chamber holds a blower that supplies cooled air to the surroundings. The user is able to control the temperature of the conditioned air by means of a control panel and the air flow rate by a blower control switch. An air outlet manifold supplies fresh or conditioned air through an air supply line to a respirator mask.
Reusable purified air breathing device
An air breathing device includes a casing and an air passage cavity encompassed by the casing. The device includes an air intake port and an air discharge port that connect the air passage cavity to the outside of the casing. The device includes a damper (gravity or motorized) that allows the air to flow into the air passage cavity during inhalation through the air intake port. The device includes a damper (gravity or motorized) that allows the air to exit the air passage cavity during exhalation through the air discharge port. The device includes a retractable display screen to display content to the wearer. The device includes a fixed display screen to display images of the mouth of the wearer captured by a camera lens or simulated based on the wearer's captured voice. The device includes UV lights, filters, network connections, camera lenses, speakers, microphones, ear plugs, and heating coils.
Breathable gas supply apparatus
A CPAP device for delivering pressurized, humidified breathable gas for a patient includes a flow generator configured to pressurize a flow of breathable gas. The flow generator includes an air outlet and a removable water container configured to humidify the pressurized breathable gas received from the flow generator. The water container includes an air inlet and an air outlet. The CPAP device further includes a first elastomeric face seal configured to sealingly abut against a substantially flat portion of the water container surrounding the water container air inlet, the first elastomeric face seal being located at an intermediate position between the flow generator air outlet and the water container air inlet when the water container is placed into position to pneumatically communicate with the flow generator. In addition, the CPAP device includes a second elastomeric face seal, a portion of which is configured to sealingly abut against a substantially flat external surface portion of the water container surrounding the water container air outlet.
Breathing circuit device
The invention relates to a respiratory circuit appliance with a respiratory line, a CO.sub.2 absorber (6) in the respiratory line, and a cooling device for cooling the respiratory gas after it exits the CO.sub.2 absorber. Provision is made that the cooling device cools a heating pump with a compressor (33) for compressing/condensing a cooling medium, a condenser (30), which receives the condensed cooling medium, and in so doing releases heat to the surroundings, and with a heat exchanger body (8) which receives the cooled cooling medium and is in heat-conducting contact with a section of the respiratory line.
HARMFUL-SUBSTANCE-BLOCKING HEALTH MASK USING AIR CURTAIN
A health mask includes: a body part resting on and covering a partial area of a face, including a respiratory system of a user, the body part having an internal space formed therein; a tight fitting part positioned along a circumference of the body part such that the body part is tightly fitted to the partial area of the face; an ear loop part positioned at opposite sides of the body part such that the body part is secured to the partial area of the face; a filter part positioned at the opposite sides of the body part such that external air is purified and supplied to the internal space of the body part; and an air curtain-forming means provided on the body part such that an air curtain is formed around the body part to block entry of external substances.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL MASKING ASSEMBLY WITH HUMIDITY CONTROL
The present invention provides a multi-functional masking assembly having a humidity adjusting function, and having a sheet module provided on the inner side surface of the mask worn to cover the nose and the mouth of the face, wherein the sheet module is located on the cheek parts of the face, and water is supplied to the sheet module so as to supply humidity to the nose and the mouth of the face and to adjust humidity around the nose and the mouth while the mask is worn, thereby: preventing a cold, dryness due to the air during air conditioning, and inhalation of polluted air, yellow dust, fine dust, and the like caused by air pollution while increasing respiratory health; and enabling people of all ages and genders to easily use the mask. The multi-functional masking assembly with humidity control includes a mask (10) having loops (11) provided on both ends thereof and hung on the ears of an user, or female and male coupler members (12a, 12b) provided on both ends of the mask, wherein the female and male coupler members (12a, 12b) are removably coupled to each other; a sheet module (20) located on cheek portions of an inner face of the mask (10); and a water supply member (30) configured for supplying water to the sheet module (20).
