APPARATUS FOR HUMIDIFYING A RESPIRATORY GAS
A positive pressure gas supply system includes a CPAP unit a humidifier support housing with a receiving portion. The receiving portion is bound by a bottom wall with a heater and at least one side wall extending vertically from the bottom wall. A gas feed opening in the at least one side wall is in fluid communication with a gas feed path from the CPAP unit. A refilling module configured to retain a body of water is removably placed within the receiving portion from a location above the receiving portion so that a metallic part of the refilling module contacts the heater when the refilling module is resting on the bottom wall of the receiving portion. In addition, a sealing device is configured to seal off the refilling module in the receiving portion. The sealing device and the refilling module are removable as a unit from the humidifier support housing.
Aircraft air supply systems for reducing effective altitude experienced at selected locations
A system for delivering oxygen enriched air to a selected location on an aircraft may include: a gas separation system configured to output a flow of the oxygen enriched air; an environmental control system configured to output a flow of conditioned air; and/or first, second, and third ducts. The first duct may be configured to direct the flow of the oxygen enriched air to the third duct. The second duct may be configured to direct the flow of the conditioned air to the third duct. The conditioned air and the oxygen enriched air may be mixed in the third duct. The third duct may be configured to direct the mixed conditioned and oxygen enriched air to at least one dispensing station at the selected location that is configured to dispense the mixed conditioned and oxygen enriched air to users of the at least one dispensing station.
Pathogen-inactivating facial mask
A facial mask having pathogen inactivation capabilities is disclosed. One embodiment comprises a mask and a pathogen inactivation system coupled to the mask. The pathogen inactivation system is configured to heat and inactivate bacteria and viruses.
Apparatus for humidifying a respiratory gas
A humidifier assembly for a CPAP includes a base housing with a gas inlet configured to receive respiratory gas from the CPAP unit. The base housing includes a first connecting device located at a sidewall of the base housing and configured to directly, removably connect the base housing to the CPAP unit. The base housing also includes a second connecting device configured to be coupled to an air delivery hose. The humidifier assembly further includes a liquid storage container that is removably received in the base housing. The liquid storage container includes a liquid storage space configured to store liquid and a humidifying region configured to receive the respiratory gas from the gas feed opening and receive a partial amount of the liquid stored in the liquid storage space to enrich the respiratory gas with moisture.
Thermal material nebulizing system
A system for thermal regulation of a nebulizer is provided. The system includes a container to house a nebulizer and a thermal material together. The thermal material acts to chill a liquid located inside the nebulizer, in order to deliver a chilled mist to a patient for therapeutic purposes, such as initiating. Therapeutic Hypothermia, or treating various respiratory illnesses such as croup, laryngobronchitis, and smoke inhalation.
REUSABLE PURIFIED AIR BREATHING DEVICE WITH A RETRACTABLE DISPLAY SCREEN
An air breathing device includes a casing and an air passage cavity encompassed by the casing. The device includes an air intake port and an air discharge port that connect the air passage cavity to the outside of the casing. The device includes a damper (gravity or motorized) that allows the air to flow into the air passage cavity during inhalation through the air intake port. The device includes a damper (gravity or motorized) that allows the air to exit the air passage cavity during exhalation through the air discharge port. The device includes a retractable display screen to display content to the wearer. The device includes a fixed display screen to display images of the mouth of the wearer captured by a camera lens or simulated based on the wearer's captured voice. The device includes UV lights, filters, network connections, camera lenses, speakers, microphones, ear plugs, and heating coils.
BREATHABLE GAS SUPPLY APPARATUS
A CPAP device for delivering pressurized, humidified breathable gas for a patient includes a flow generator configured to pressurize a flow of breathable gas. The flow generator includes an air outlet and a removable water container configured to humidify the pressurized breathable gas received from the flow generator. The water container includes an air inlet and an air outlet. The CPAP device further includes a first elastomeric face seal configured to sealingly abut against a substantially flat portion of the water container surrounding the water container air inlet, the first elastomeric face seal being located at an intermediate position between the flow generator air outlet and the water container air inlet when the water container is placed into position to pneumatically communicate with the flow generator. In addition, the CPAP device includes a second elastomeric face seal, a portion of which is configured to sealingly abut against a substantially flat external surface portion of the water container surrounding the water container air outlet.
Portable air purifier
Provided is a portable air purifier, which includes: a mask part; a first connecting hose having one end connected to the mask part; a second connection hose in which the first connection hose is installed, and at least part of which has an opening for introducing external air; an air purification module that purifies the introduced external air to a predetermined temperature condition and discharges the purified air to the first connecting hose; and a power supply unit configured to supply power to the heater. Since the air purification module for removing poisonous gases or biochemical pollutants through a catalytic reaction of a metal catalyst layer can be semi-permanently used, the conventional inconvenience of carrying an extra canister is removed.
Breathing circuit device
A breathing circuit device has a breathing gas line for forming a closed breathing system, with a cooling device with at least one cooling element for cooling a breathing gas sent through the breathing gas line. The at least one cooling element is separated from the breathing gas with a wall and the wall is a deformable wall, so that a direct contact can be established between the at least one cooling element and the deformable wall by means of a deformation of the deformable wall.
