BAND FOR PROTECTING VEHICLE WHEELS AND TYRES
20210023890 · 2021-01-28 ·

Band for protecting vehicle wheels and tires, is a protective system for wheels with variable adjustment (setup), which allows a single product to be used in different wheel sizes. Characterized by two semicircular rubber segments of I profile in half moon shape, with 50% wider base and 30% wider top, both in relation to the central part of the product; each part (half moon shape) has at its ends a fitting system called Parrot Spout simple at one end and double at the other, to allow the overlap of the parts, being attached by a set of ratchets that pull the steel cables or high resistance tape to attach the ends of the parts; it has a passenger compartment (spacing) to allocate the valve or pressure sensor.

Outflow control device for creating a packer

An assembly for creating a packer can include a downhole tool positionable within a wellbore. The downhole tool can include an outflow control device that includes a substantially circumferential slot, a port in the slot for receiving a sealant from a reservoir, and a flow restriction device that can be positioned between the substantially circumferential slot and an annulus of the wellbore. The flow restriction device can create a pressure difference between the substantially circumferential slot and the annulus of the wellbore.

Run-flat tire insert
10821786 · 2020-11-03 ·

A run-flat tire insert for installation in a pneumatic tire mounted on a rim. The insert is a one-piece toroidal member formed from expanded polymer foam beads molded into a structural foam part. The insert has an inner diameter surface sized to fit snuggly about a periphery of a tire rim and an outer diameter sized to fit within a tire cavity. The insert is spaced from the tire inner casing surface during normal operation and supports the tire inner casing surface away from the rim in the event of a flat tire. A molding apparatus and a method of forming a run-flat tire insert is also disclosed.

Insert for a pneumatic tire

An insert for a pneumatic tire including an annular member adapted to contact at least 10% of an interior surface of the pneumatic tire and provide an outward pressure thereagainst.

Run-flat tire

A run-flat tire comprises a tread portion, sidewall portions, bead portions, and a carcass ply extending between the bead portions. The sidewall portions are each provided therein with a sidewall reinforcing rubber layer having a crescent-shaped cross sectional shape and disposed on the axially inside of the carcass ply. The sidewall portions are each provided in the axially outer surface thereof with a rim protector which projects radially outward most on the radially outside of the radially inner edge of the sidewall reinforcing rubber layer. The bead portions are each provided therein with an axially inside core and an axially outside core between which each radially inner edge portion of the carcass ply is secured. When measured along a normal line drawn normally to the carcass ply from an apex of the rim protector, the thickness of the sidewall reinforcing rubber layer is in a range of from 29% to 35% of the thickness of the tire.

BEADLOCK ASSEMBLY
20200101798 · 2020-04-02 ·

A dual, internal, pneumatic, boltless beadlock assembly for effectively securing a tire to a rim is disclosed. The beadlock assembly exerts a force on the two circumferential inner beads of a tire such that the tire stays in secure contact with the rim, even when the inflation pressure of the tire is not sufficient to lock the tire to the rim.

VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD OF VEHICLE
20200101800 · 2020-04-02 ·

A vehicle includes: a sensor for measuring a relative position and a relative speed between an obstacle and the vehicle; an injector for injecting a deforming material which is solidified during injection to absorb an impact and enhance coupling strength at a portion to which the deforming material is attached; and a controller configured to determine a collision probability with the obstacle based on the measured relative position and the measured relative speed, to determine a predicted collision position when the collision probability reaches a reference collision probability, to determine an injection direction of the injector based on the predicted collision position, and to control the injector to inject the deforming material in the determined injection direction.

Gas strut air spring

There is provided an air spring for supporting a load, the air spring comprises a chamber for holding a pressurised gas in use, a load-bearing surface arranged to transmit a force from a load in use to the pressurised gas held in the chamber. Importantly, in order to lower the spring rate, the chamber contains a mass of adsorptive material. There is also provided a use of an adsorptive material for the purpose of lowering the spring rate of an air spring, including a gas strut and a pneumatic wheel. There is also provided a method of designing an air spring using an adsorptive material to lower the spring rate.
